I'm 43 now. I still remember the day I bought this album in the year 1997 when I was in high-school in cassette format. Really old-school. But, it is still sounds fresh in my ears as ever. ❤❤❤.
Yep , i totally agree and i had actually SOMEHOW FORGOTTEN this song for years and heard it the other night for the first time ... and wow it really lifted me up . ... what memories from 1996 !
@@tolbydamit Don't be sad Marc young. Even if we can't go back in time, we can all rest easy knowing that if Tonic stops making music, they will at least get together once in a while to roller skate around the block in faux tuxedos. If that doesn't make you smile then I don't know what will.
@@roywein1880 IIRC he would often cameo in music videos and other shows, usually for no real reason other than he just wanted to. There's even a reference to this in Fleetwood Mac's own vidoe for "Tusk," where you see a cardboard cutout of him because he wasn't able to appear in the video shoot.
Let's see now, I was a child of the 60's, a teenager of the 70's, & an adult of the 80's, 90's, 00's, 10's. I got to see it all!!! All of those musical revolutions! With lots more on its way! FREEDOM! LIBERTY! & JUSTICE for all!

This is the anthem of my after-school experience when I was 13. MTV played this song religiously from 3:00 to 4:30 every afternoon when I hit puberty. Not gonna lie... I kind of loved it. This was the sound of liberation. The way the lead singer would open his arms up in defiance as he rolled along pretty much summed up how I felt escaping from high school. A great song and a great feeling. Big thumbs up.

Ha nothing better than a great band that doesn't buy the rock star gospel so much they aren't afraid to laugh at themselves. Great song though any way u look at it!!!!!!
I love this band and this song….reminds me of some of the happiest times in my life. The 90’s was such a great decade for me. I could only pray to feel that way again……
What a cool song. Was so neat to see Mick Fleetwood in the video too. For all you young ones out there Mick was the drummer for a band called Fleetwood Mac.
2/15/23 26-Years ago ? I bought the CD because of this Song ! I don't Remember if I got this while out on the Road at a Tower Records or from one of the Two Music Clubs there were. Think about Em.....Columbia and BMG !! LololoL 😁😁😜😋😝😎
One of my favorite albums and songs but I dont think I ever saw this video. God take me back to these better days of the 90s... I had no idea how good I had it.
One of my favorite videos ever. I can watch this on repeat all day. Love Emerson Hart and Tonic. Did you know Tom Selleck from Magnum PI's son was the original drummer for Tonic?
I heard this song on the radio today on my way to work and it pumped me up about going to work. I haven't heard this in years and it was like hearing it for the first time again. A song wish these types of songs were still being made and played on the radio. The new music today can't compare. The early 2000 and back till the late 1950's all great music what the hell happened in the past few years. it has gone from talented bands with instruments and actually singers too, this boom boom yea yea dog, with no ability to sing or play any type of instrument. I really would love to know how this happened?
I just saw these guys earlier tonight with the Gin Blossoms. They absolutely rocked. Love this song and video and they still do this song awesome live.
So many memories. My first long haul trip abroad, Toronto February '98. This was the first song I saw on Canadian MTV. It was so cold and bleak outside by Pearson airport at the days inn.
+Marc Bolinger your damn right no immuminati bs just real talent soul and expression you know what actually great music is about and what meant to be as such
Mmm yes. This is definitely the universe telling me to free myself of whatever the hell 2020 is with some roller blades and music from an era that gives me bliss. I accept my new reality. My 30’s just might be alright.
I remember seeing them at The Howlin Wolf and their guitar tech was from New Orleans as well wen I was talking to them on the side. Very cool band members. They just left me be hanging on the side B's with soneof their crew members. Important ones at that 🙏❤️🇺🇸🙅
This was another one, that once I heard it, I ran right out and bought the CD. The entire album is EXCELLENT! Seriously, if anyone here likes this song and hasn't heard the rest, ya gotta check it out!

We had live radio broadcast here and I ask the DJ who this was by. I remember how her voice did NOT match her face and BODY!!!
Yeah I was a senior in HS when this came out...😢
I graduated in 97'. Yeah the memories right.
Same!!
I'm 44 brother so we must be 1980s children :) This song is my high school along with RHCP Foo Fighters Collective Soul
Hard to believe this song is 24 years old now. Still sounds as brilliant now as the first time I heard it
getting old blows. thank the music gods the tunes are so goddamn awesome!!!
26 for me…still sounds amazing.
Right!
I was 30 when this came out. Thought I was old then
..and it can not only legally buy liquor now but it can negotiate it's own contracts now
A great song remains timeless 🙌💪🤙🇦🇺
Underrated, underappreciated, underplayed, band! Tonic, kicked, kicks, and will always kick ass!

Agree with you on that one 🤘
This song did get it's fair share of radio play mainly on rock/alternative stations then.
I've always loved how Mick Fleetwood is in this for no apparent reason.
Twice, right? Do I spy, with my little eyes, Mick as the photographer at 1:23 ?
Is that supposed to be Fiona Apple?
Rigel7WasAlreadyUsed you are Dangerously close to getting bareback!
They are both managed by the same company =)
I always wondered if it's because of Emerson's slight resemblance to John McVie.
the 90's.... such an easier time in life.... no social media... much easier time in life..
Someone please invent a time machine to take all of us back to the 90s back before we were able to fully realize how much life sucks.

I vote for the 80s. It was a good time for the most part.
Uh that would be the 70’s.☮️
The wayback machine cometh!!!!! I Love Tonic and my elderly Mom did too! Anybody still listening in 2020? This song is SO apropos FOR NOW!!!!!
2022. Still listening.
just listened again in 2023
I used to play the "lemon parade" cd constantly. Such great songs.
Still listening in 2024!
This song always reminded me of how my addiction felt. So glad I opened my eyes and started telling a new story. 🧡
Amen to that.
Good onya, love hearing positivity
Good for you! 💯
Good stuff
Keep the plug in the jug
Always thought it odd that "If You Could Only See" was their biggest hit, given how good this tune is.
Same. I always thought this was a far better song, but it got almost no attention/airplay compared to "If You Could Only See."
I'd kill for a time machine
Me to bro...Me to ...literally
John Smith cause then you could go back and relive the 90s, you wouldn't have yet committed murder AND you'd have a time machine. Great success!
Wait..... What color is Michael Jackson...?
Hot tub Time Machine!!😂🍀
Maybe......1996? 1997?..... Fuck it.......1991......... 🤘🤘
Yeah back to the 80's tho
Love the Fleetwood Mac cameo ♥️
Yeah what’s Mick Fleetwood doing in there, lol?
I wonder what the story is

As an oldster who grew up listening to music of the 50's, 60's and 70's....I love this band and the 90's were the last Renaissance of rock music.
I agree with you about the music, but I didn't live during those times, only the 80d, the freaking best rock bands and I love southern rock!

While above all your troubles pass

During his spin move
Gotta love the random Mick Fleetwood cameo.
Saw them here in Vegas Saturday night. Dam they jam. They closed their show with Go your own way so I now understand why Mick Fleetwood in the video.
I was just diagnosed with cancer and I start chemo radiation next week. This is the second song on my final Playlist should things go.

That Louis CK is one talented dude!
Lol I was thinking the same thing
+Kristina Reyes me too
Arcane iconoclast Who is?
Steve Warren yes he is awesome group
He does look alot like Louis C. K. but evidently the guys name is Emerson Hart. Born in PA but grew up in Atlantic Highlands. Who knew.
I worked concert and stage production for their show here in Galveston, TX this past Saturday night. The guys rocked the house. Thanks guys.
....nice little Easter Egg thrown in there with the Mick Fleetwood appearance.
Was that really him?
Absolutely.....can't mistake that man....
Glad someone else noticed :)
I use to watch this video over and over.. memories 😊
This song totally sounds like Collective Soul.
Maybe in this jangly remix crap version. It was much harder sounding originally.

Made me grow out a goatee back in the day. Thanks for that.
