"Knocked Loose, motherfucker" easily became one of my favorite breakdown callouts.
Normally I’d say that was cheesy but knocked loose just… can’t be cheesy
@@Tigerjunky93 That's what happens when you're an Extremely Skilled, long standing, active touring band. They just have the Cred to do shit like that, y'know?
@@Nameless_Wretch Facts. They rip.
Spotify has the lyrics witten as "North-West motherfucker." That's gotta be wrong, right?!
It doesn’t top Arf Arf, but it’s up there!
That clean melody over the ending breakdown is 🤌
I can’t believe how incredibly THICC this production is sounding. My favorite release of the year so far🙌
My name is Noah too and I agree
I'm sure we have Will Putney to thank for that.
@@AirRedbox thank you Noah
@@spinxz_314 nope Drew Fulk aka Wzrd Bld, I was really worried when I saw it wasn’t Will Putney this time. I know Drew helps write a lot of those singy metalcore bands songs (wage war, fit for a king, etc) so I was sure this would be a stylistic change. Glad I’m wrong, heaviest music they’ve put out
@@ChainChomp122 it's always good to switch things up
To go from "A Different Shade of Blue" to "A Tear in the Fabric of Life" to this... it's just staggering. Very rarely do any artists release hit after hit.
Glad you talked about how Knocked Loose always goes so hard on their transitions. I think their rhythm choices are so underappreciated. Their drummer Kevin Kaine is such a monster
I really like Kevin's choices of fills in transitions. Some times off beat so you have no idea what is going to happen next
Knocked Loose - the undisputed kings of the nastiest beatdowns.
Knocked Loose have certainly been putting effort into their videos and im here for it. No more warehouse-core 😂. Im loving that Nicko is getting in on the vocals as well now
I noticed that too. I think his voice actually fit in so perfectly
The production on these tracks is otherworldly. It’s so clear. So punchy. Guitars sound thick af. I love it.
Knocked Loose never disappoints
That outro reminds me heavily of oldschool Northlane. This is such a fkn banger and the video is craaazy dope! Massive fan of this all round
Facts
On the flip side of some comments it was Bryan’s vocals that drew me to KL. Saw them supporting ETID a few years back and Oblivions Peak blew me away and I’ve loved them ever since
Same! I’m so happy to had heard them live before an album. R.I.P. ETID
saw them at rockville, had no clue who they were, but immediately fell in love and a friend who doesn’t listen to this hardcore type of metal loved knocked loose as well
This is the best thing to come out of 2023 so far in my opinion (fact)
In terms of heavy music yes, it’s been quite poor until today.
Yea my favorite metal release so far. Heavy music has been lacking for me this year
Heavy music yes. But I love the new avenged album.
@@phaaaze9984 you want heavy music? KL and Paleface singles in the same day
@@QuestNation3221 Really?
We've had great singles from the likes of Chamber, Mugshot, Boundaries, Bodysnatcher, Serration, Burner, Make Them Suffer, and Like Moths To Flames plus LPs or EPs from Terminal Sleep, The Acacia Strain, Incendiary, Stasis, Backbiter, Erase Them and Teeth
I love the direction they've been going recently
that ending breakdown is so great
This was fantastic!! Knocked Loose crushing it!
I love when bands drop masterpiece albums, have you thinking they can't top it then hit you with the "hold my beer".
Man the cinematography of this music video is so fantastic!
This double single is simply audible violence and I love it
A lot of bands you can say don’t miss. Knocked loose doesn’t fucking miss
KL, Paleface, MTS, IA, Currents, Jesus Piece, Polaris, Boundaries, BT, AW... etc FACTS
When he said Knocked Loose motherfucker...i really felt that
Inspirational 🔥
I work at the venue this was primarily shot at. Very cool to see it all put together! Also funny to see this kind of content come out of what is primarily a wedding venue 😂
Loved both tracks, especially Everything Is Quiet Now. That might be one of my favorite Knocked Loose now.
Thanks for reacting and not talking . You sir have this sub and my gratitude. ❤
4:48 will keep me awake at night for the next 6 years
Knocked Loose and Boundaries are currently the kings of metalcore. They manage to keep churning out songs without conventional structures, but that flow really well.
I'm glad other members scream more often since their last ep. I could be wrong, but I don't think it was the case in their previous stuff. I got used to the main vocalist style, but I feel like it would lack variety if it wasn't for the fact there's now low screams. This sure is 2 bangers.
Ive watched this video 20 times already and both songs slap! If I had to pick one CON, I think they went a little crazy with changing the snare sound (or adding effects to it). It doesn't take away from the songs at all it's just very noticeable from verse to chorus.
Yes finally someone mention it , I agree. Still good tho
They remind me so much of the late 90s converge stuff and I love it.
They are basically 90s metalcore through a more contemporary lens, it's great. I always think of them as this era's Disembodied.
These guys desserve nothing but love 😤🌎🖤
Yes! Love the new format, especually your honorable mentions for the month...my go-to for new music! 🤘
These lads are hurtling forward at an unstoppable pace. They are not wasting a single minute of their time, putting out banger after banger and playing all the time. I only hope to see them soon, while they're in their ascent phase.
Can't believe how far tom Kenny has came as a vocalist
I’m fairly certain that Eric Richter also directed the MV for the Spite songs; Dedication to Flesh and Made to Please, AND Caved In So this dude has some range
Great song, this banger is going on my playlist for work. May I also add how beautiful your hair looks, I am so jealous 😊
All I know is the medics are going to be very busy when they play these songs live
Boi! That shit hit! That ambient ending was so good!
my favourite band ever, so sick😢
It's heartwarming seeing the boys grow from Manipulator to something like this. Knocked Loose, motherfucker.
Best band in the game IMO. They’re leading the way.
I'm definitely not a fan of hardcore, but Knocked Loose makes me weep.
Everything is quiet now is hands down my favorite song by them and I do NOT say that lightly.
“Knocked Loose, Motherfucker.” That’s GOAT future merch.
My favorite band 😍🤘🏼
Love knocked loose very underrated 🔥
Would have been sick if Kevin was drumming in the field Bryan was running through at 3:10
This band's quality and attention to detail is wild in these videos!
BANGERS
The base rules this song. I think I broke my neck head banging to this song!
They nailed it.
Absolute banger
Song of the year potential right here.
Banger x2
Maybe one of the best one of the year
it blew my mind how they somehow stepped up their game yet again from the previous ep
i didnt think they could have gotten heavier than tear in the fabric of life but goddamn
EVERYTHING IS COUGH NOW
Bro we got new KNOCKED LOOSE, new Sunami and new Chamber all once?! What a fucking week man
I love how much more I'm seeing Chamber's name out in the wild. They're so good.
Good morning …
The boys don’t miss.
Well it's sounds like Knocked Loose. That's mostly a compliment ☺️
I’ve been waiting too long for a song like this…
Now its ohrions turn to drop a reaction
haha i was thinking the same, just rotating through all the reactors
Was that one song or two...if it was one I thought it ended about 6 times. Never listened to them but I just might have to do some digging.
Oh it's a banger alright
partially reminds me of OCD suicide silence, so Sick
Kevin Smith on Drums?
Is that the singer from Above this fire?????
AOTY incoming? KL and MTS ALBUM in the same year? 😵😤+ Paleface make a banger song today too DAMN
Not birb missing a perfectly good opportunity for a “I hope these new tracks knock my cough loose” joke, come on dudeeee
I JUST HAD A DEJA VU MOMENT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO I KNEW I RECOGNIZED THE SINGLE ART I SAW IT IN A DREAM OF ME WATCHING THIS VIDEO WTF AHHHHH IM A PSYCHIC
You could make a candle out of my melted face... KL MF 🤘🏼
These 2 singles rip🔥
I wanna see these guys playing at a Denny's for shits and giggles.
I find myself wanting to hear Poison The Well "Tear From The Red," era...more than this..not that this sucks..it just feels too much like trying..trying to be different. But it's not different. It has been done. Yeah, that's it.
hARTcore
time for knocked looses garmmy it seems. :)
I’d say they were peaking but I said that last time
Kinda reminds me of Nasum.... if the drumner got kicked in the balls
Just realized I wasn’t subbed that has changed
That was like a Fall of Troy interlude in the middle.
Like if Gojira included 2 step
I like their music but I can’t really get into his vocals. I wish it was more of a scream and not a high yell. The bass player screams were good.
If you want to get warmed up to the hard-core style yelling listen to forever by code orange if you haven't already. It's very similar but not as high pitched.
Not that the bass player has a bad yell but he literally just sounds like every other generic hardcore dude
He sounds like a kid yelling at his mom 😆
@@android521 I much prefer his vocals to your typical tough guy/mouth sounds vocals.
@@nicholasmills3469 I like the hardcore yell but like Every Time I Die, Beartooth style
Clickbait. There were in fact words after the song.
Love the music but his voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me
A large group of people, myself included, felt that way when first hearing KL. The more you listen, the more you get used to it. Now, I think Bryan Garris has either the best or second-best hardcore vocals today
I fully agree. It's like I'm being yelled at and not in a good way. Best of luck to them though. Just not for us haha
I know what you mean, but I think I’ve just been used to it for the kind of hardcore I’ve always listened to. Bands like Incendiary, Disembodied, Comeback Kid and a lot more use a similar vocal style. Just pure aggression and raw as fuck. Once Knocked Loose hit more of the metal heads radar, it was clear they didn’t really understand it. Which is understandable
I am 100% with you man, his voice is terrible.
Man I love his voice. So abrasive and really stands out in hardcore. So many vocalists sound exactly the same
Idk, this song is so killer, so are alot of KL songs but I really can't get into Bryan's vocals. They sound so wrong in place and ye. Still a talented vocalist and I can see why people love him but his vocals kind of keeping me on distance from NL
I felt the same way when I first heard them. I ended up finding vocalist that I like that are similar in ways but maybe a bit more mild, and it warmed me up to Bryan's vocals a lot. If you wanna see if that works for you, I'd listen to "forever" (the album) by code orange and "slow forever" (the album) by cobalt (specifically ruiner)
Go see them live, u will change
@@nicholasmills3469 thanks alot
*KL
Knocked.
Has a K.
It's funny that you had two letters and got one wrong.
Musically they're are cool but man I can't stand that guys voice. For me if it was more in the vein of Most Precious Blood (particularly on Merciless) where you still have that voicey yell but blended with the harshness of the fry scream I think it would work much better. But that's just my opinion.
*Would work much better for me.
Fixed.
But hey, let's be blunt for a second and I don't mean 420.
You still wouldn't buy their albums or merch, so why change 🤷
Fact is, these guys have played massive shows to crowds that know every word and they don't need some guy who is still spouting the same tired comment, ten years into the band.
We get it.
Not a fan of the vocals.
You don't have to comment.
We won't miss that input.
@@nolankuffner3573 I literally said "For me" at the beginning of that sentence and stated it was merely my own opinion but regardless of both those points, there's no need to get so butt hurt, you're entitled to like them just as much as I'm entitled not to. Also, I enjoy the sheer irony of "you don't have to comment" so thank you for that.
Dude sounds like a kid yelling at his mom to get out of his room. The instruments fuck hard though.
Honestly i felt like that at first but his vocals grew on me i eventually began to like them.
I love knocked loose....but their newer stuff is getting more and more chaotic, which isnt really my cup of tea
Theyre Hardcore... Not metal
sound more metal than punk tbh
@@RibeiroGames12 Didn't say Punk... I said Hardcore. Huge difference
ever heard of this thing called Metallic Hardcore?
@TheHaggis 🤣🤣🤣 Oh you kids and all your specific Genres...
Yeah sucks
These guys just own the scene right now 🔥🔥🔥
Dillinger Escape Plan with a female screamer
Absolute banger
