I’ve been on such a journey with white jeans. Through trial and error I’ve realized the color and fit make the difference! They can’t be true white color, must be off white, cream, parchment, etc. and you CANT wear them as tight as you might other colors. A more relaxed, straight fit takes it from looking like you’re wearing white woman’s jeans, to an essential summer, fall Men’s staple! Everything you already know I’m sure 👍🏾
The Pinterest moodboards would be a great addition to the videos! By the way, do you collect original movie posters? I really like your Italian locandinas on the background 👌🏼
I wanted a loose and at least a 13inch/33cm front rise (or higher). Just like my tcb40s (which are the highest I could afford at 13,5inch) anyway i settled on the Japan Blue J570 white trousers. I think the are around 200eu. 13 inch rise . Good one to check out!
@@LukeHodges Just received them, it's a nice wide fit with a great high rise. For some it will probably be a little too wide, but I have big thighs from biking so it looks good. If you want you can always make them a little smaller from the knees down.
I got a pair of H&M White jeans and they're very wearable. I agree with the comment on looking after them: if you are going to baby them, just don't buy them. I will definitely get a new nice pair (they don't fit me anymore 😅)
Pls do a tutorial on how to style or fashion linen over shirts - and which colours are versatile? Dark blue and khaki ? Not sure how to style them and I’m short too… I find overshirt a little long for me :(
I tried the Levis, Suitsupply and the Arket one. Both the Levis and Suitsupply were tight and the rise was very uncomfortable. I ended up buying the one from Arket. I love the cut. However, I wish if the fabric had slightly more weight to it, but for the summer, spring and even autumn I think it should do fine. As Luke said it's not really loose fit. I would say it's more like how 501's from the 80s fit.
@@positiveliberty I also prefer high rise. And that’s why I went with the Arket. The other two were supposed to be mid rise but felt slightly low for me. I even remember sizing up with the Levi’s but was still no go. Great weight and color on that pair though.
Ok, this will be a long comment but bear with me. First off, I would love to see a mood board on different ways to style these and other items of clothing on either Instagram or Pinterest 👍 And secondly, I currently own 2 pairs of ecru jeans, one is a natural seed cotton by Naked and Famous, which is a great brand. The second pair is a cone mills natural cotton seed selvedge denim by Brave Star Selvage. One important thing that I’ve learned the hard way about ecru jeans, jackets, and so on is this. If it has some sort of leather patch on it (as most items do), try to find out if the color of the patch will bleed out and stain the fabric before washing it in your washing machine. I ruined an ecru selvedge denim jacket by Brave Star Selvage by not checking this, and I still have this problem with my ecru naked and famous jeans. Which means that I usually end up having to wash them several times. One time to wash them clean and a second time to wash them with stain remover to try and remove brown marks caused by bleeding from the leather patch. Which can be a real hassle. So keep that in mind. If you have any tips on how to deal with something like this I would love to hear about it 👍
The Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses collaboration "Natural Seeded Wash" jeans are exactly the higher rise I think you're looking for, I wish I got them when they launched

I agree, definitily looks better when theyre more on the relaxed side
💯 with all this. Although I do like a white but it’s a lot harder to pair and feel comfortable in

Thank you! 1 for Pinterest ✅ may have to do both haha
I think the Levi’s 501 93 is the best off white Jean plus a great fit

Allevol Roku Roku Kinari will forever be the best ecru jeans!

Thanks for the reviews! Definitely agree re Arket, the cut is underrated
why were the rises on the levi's/suitsupply pairs uncomfortable? they were too high? too low? I prefer high rises
