Another piece of (interesting) information i came across while messing around in the software that my GPS device came with: after 7.56 sec (the time it took the GLC 220d to get to 100 km/h), the other cars were doing: - 98.66 km/h having travelled 123.94 m -> Audi Q5 40 TDI - 98.49 km/h having travelled 127.89 m -> BMW X3 20d - 94.30 km/h having travelled 120.58 m -> Volvo XC60 B4
@@AcceleratingCars How about incorporating fuel efficiency testing somehow? I know some publications run their test cars on a standard ‘fuel route’ with a mix of highway and city driving, to give a standardized (although not entirely accurate) gauge of fuel economy.
That’s true… it’s primarily a performance orientated channel. Maybe do a poll with subscribers to see if it’s something worthwhile pursuing? Just a thought. But good luck man 👌
Looks like Volvo has the best launch control system since it has the maximum acceleration from 0 to 10 km/h. Or may be it is just heavier than the others and it is not easy to get a wheel spin for it.))
Yes, i think it can. Even though it does not have the most modern user interface, the software that came with the device is actually pretty complex, i'm sure i don't know how to use it to it's full potential. As for the graph in Excel vs the one from the software...i just like doing this kind of calculations, i have done some Excel templates. Sau, pe romaneste, imi place sa imi fac de lucru 😉

Awesome comparison! I appreciate the analysis and comments that you did additionally 👌
Thanks man, appreciate it! I would have even more ideas, but unfortunately i'm limited by the editing process (my skills, tools, hardware)

@@RR-ht9db interesting idea 🤔 although this channel is focused on the acceleration part of car dynamics, i'll think about what you said

Flexible acceleration 80 -100 is a daily practice
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks, my friend! 👍

I think your Racelogic device can make acceleration graphs of the cars you test. So you don't need to make them in Excel.
