My dynasty draft may 4th 2023 at pick 1.05 I took Addison at 2.05 got my guy Downs at 3.05 somehow Tyjae Spears was still available then I made my first move up one spot to the 4.04 and got Tank Dell and then I saved the best for last traded back one spot to the 5.06 and took Puka Nacua how’d I do?
That's ridiculous I also got Downs 3.05 and Tank Dell off waivers... Traded my first (Quentin Johnston Pick) for Keenan Allen and a 2024 second and traded my second in a James Cook package

If you look at his stats in college and in context, Jonathan Mingo's performance (or lack thereof) in his rookie season in the NFL should not be a surprise.
bijan robinson, jahmyr gibbs, rashee rice, tank dell, puka nakua, sam laporta; all will have great 2nd year this season!
Love the show y’all. But I’m so confused by Mikes take on CJ Stroud. Stroud had a great year, Anthony Richardson played a game and a half, and some how you would rather have Richardson because of his play making ability?! CJ stroud was making plays all year!
He’s hoping Richardson will play like young cam newton. In other years he would have a point, but not after the year stroud just had. Stroud has top 5 qb potential and I believe he will get there if the Texans draft/sign another wr stud

Another fantasy analyst said this a few years ago, and I live by it. We do not predict injury, because we cannot. Sure, Achane is small. But size doesn’t really mean anything in regards to something random like injury. Sure, it can correlate to players breaking down over time if they get fed touches and are getting blasted by defenses. But injuries can happen to anyone at any time, and a real indicator of injury concerns is how fast they come back from them. Do the injuries linger, do they happen a lot for a player, etc. Achane is THE RB2 to roster next year, especially if he does go at the 2-3 turn and you can pair him with CMC.
You take an undersized injury prone RB who shares the backfield....I'll take a WR.

Dontayvion wicks is the best wr in Green Bay (shhhh). Only drafted in the 5th round due to injury. 6’1 210+ pounds and the best route runner on the team. His release package is very davante-esque

As a Dolphins fan who saw Tua be really hamstrung by his coaches his first two years and then be unleashed in his last two years, I feel for Bryce Young and Panthers fans. Not all QBs get Andy Reid or Kyle Shanahan coaching them.

In a 2-keeper half PPR league, would you keep Bijan or Puka for next year? My other keeper is CMC, and I draft 9th next year.
That’s a hard one but I’d say Puka since you are already keeping an RB, I don’t think you can go wrong though to be honest but Puka has already done it so I would lean choosing him
The rookies who stood out proving they are worthy for next season were Nacua, Stroud, Flowers, Dell & Gibbs
My biggest question right now is where does AR rank against the rookie qbs

I mean its based on if you have a major need at RB. If you need something else, I'd move it for a piece and multiple picks (including this year's and next year's firsts). Otherwise, he has to be 1.01 in all rookie drafts.

@@jeffstanley6013 yes sorry, I should have pointed that out. My mistake. I would consider him still with the 1.01 though even in 2 QB or Superflex leagues. I'm also not a fantasy expert either so.

I was surprised Josh McCown was fired with the rest but I suppose he was loyal to Reich. His Bryce Young qb analysis before they moved up was why I knew they would draft him and why I also picked young. I also got AR and Goff, so I'm not without options.
my take on him is that he needs a jameson williams that can use speed to create seperation almost immediately after the snap, not only does bryce young expect this level of seperation from his wr1, he is scared to make a bad throw if separation does not happen which then leads to him playing ddr in the pocket. Scouts and analysts confused this as him being "innovating" and having the "ability to extend the play" but truthfully he is just playing really scared, like saquon coming off an injury . @@noahrandolph379

My analysis of Bryce was QB 5 i know none of you believe because its already a year but he didn't bring up alabama the team had a bunch of first round picks carrying him he didn't have a strong arm more like mediocre arm and short QBs struggle throwing middle of the field because their short and thats what we saw
KC has about 25 free agents this off season. It is unlikely they'll actually make a big splash WR signing as many of those free agents are key defensive players like Jones, Sneed, Tranquill. Jason has it correctly.
It would be foolish of them to sign a wr when there are about 8 first round talent wrs in the draft
I'm thinking of keeping Tank over Puka in .5 ppr. I just love his connection with Stroud. Any feedback would be appreciated .
Puka had 100 receptions this year and we’ve seen how productive Staffords favorite targets can be. Kupp and megatron have the 2 greatest wr years ever and Stafford was throwing them the ball
Not to mention the Texans are almost guaranteed to draft or sign another stud wr this offseason so I think puka is the better player to keep

How can you say Rasheed Rice didn't show up in the Super Bowl when Mahomes doesn't throw to him when he was wide open? Like the play where he all alone in the end zone and Mahomes instead chooses to show to his male crush Kelce.
He didn't throw it to him because he got a terrible low snap and had to minimize risk. That being said, that was absolutely a scoring opportunity and Rice had two playoff TDs (one against Miami and one against Buffalo) that were called back due to phantom penalties.
So yeah I agree with you that saying Rice didn't show up in the super bowl is lazy analysis. He literally set the record for receptions in a postseason run by a rookie.
Also, the chiefs history should make it obvious that there is no chance they spend BIG money on a Wr this off-season. At best they will get someone like Marquise Brown. Rice is the Chiefs #1 wr going forward.

I would like to do a number on Jason -though he's bigger and younger than me- for his pounding the table rookie TEs can never be good. My team auto drafted LaPorta but he so intimidated me in the preseason I dropped him for Hunter Henry, who Fantasy Headliners liked. I later got Ferguson. Obviously someone immediately grabbed LaPorta. I lost the 1st 9 games. THANKS JASON!!! 😡
That’s on u. If u already drafted him, why not keep him. Jason’s thing is don’t draft TEs cuz u can get a better player at at more important position

Typing in all caps won’t make it come true! There are many different ways Kamara could stay in NO, and coach has already voiced a want to involve him more in game plan next year
@@bballerjrod4 they are still not even discussing the fact that there is a chance he doesn't come back, which is still super likely. It's either A, they extend him for 3-4 years and get his annual dollars down or B, they cut him. NFL players are head cases and he's going to want too much a year, I assume which means he's getting cut likely. Even if the coach wants him back, the GM has to make the dollars balance out

Kind of disappointed with episode. Very negative perspectives overall. Seems like guys need to have absolute game breaking rookie seasons otherwise they’re pigeonholed into being bad or mediocre.
I think you’re hearing something they’re not saying, if guys haven’t done it then you’re still hoping for something that hasn’t happened. That doesn’t mean they’re bad but it is realistic
These guys are still very redraft oriented and making their projections based off of rookie stats. Just a few years ago players were taking 2 or 3 seasons to break out. Those owners who actually watched JSN saw he was making big plays when targeted even though he wasn't targeted very often. The film doesn't lie. The Fantasy Footballers are still very new to Dynasty and showing their age with this episode. They didn't even mention Zay Flowers is being investigated for domestic abuse. I would look elsewhere for Dynasty advice.
They have a dynasty dedicated podcast. This podcast covers redraft advice as well as dabbling in some light dynasty takes. So yeah, look elsewhere… at their dynasty podcast
