These clamps make me want to sell my bmw. WTF were they thinking!!!!

Man i cannot get the hose off of the left side of my wifes thermostat. The clip (metal) no problem, but when disengaged it does not budge
@@HardHeadMilitary the sensor has clips on the sides of it
@@3nvy.m3 it wasnt the sensor side of the thermostat. I removed that once i got the thermostat off, and removed the sensor, i am replacing the air intake tube also, and hopefully finish tonight after work
And this is why most people sell these - An endless leaking fest is what you get with these era of bimmers. I am fixing all the leaks on my 330ci and “bye felisha,” moving on getting a Lexus is300 as a daily and my E30 for the weekends; period. 🤦🏻♂️

I'm doing this same hose and I can NOT get the radiator side to engage deep enuff to properly seat it. I'm afraid I'm gonna break the radiator fill tube it connects to. Any one have this issue?
Same thing but on the engine side. Any success?
@@the_skips yes ended up taking a big pair of channel locks and squeeze it in place. Worked great. Then sold it. Was a good car. But was afraid if something else went wrong it'd cost too much. BMW. = Bring more money.

Just used some silicon lubricant and then tried again. It was not that expensive for me.
15 euro for 5L of coolant (there were cheaper ones, but i have decided to buy something more decent), 7 euro for lubricant. 8 euro for a new coolant cap.
For some reason my hoses kept popping off, so i figured coolant cap does not drain pressure. I think i should be good for now
