You mentioned turf tires being a problem with traction, that's a very common issue with all Zero turn mowers. CUb Cadet has a tire/ wheel option The Ultra traction 26x12x12 tire and wheel set for $ 335.00. THESE TIRES WILL ALSO MAKE A HUGE IMPROVEMENT on hillside traction.
Hi, to be doing these sort of properties up to 10 acres with the occasional hilly block. Would you suggest the pro z 900? Sherpa or a higher powered zero turn such as graveley pro turn? Thanks
I’m not a pro and only have experience with this mower. What I realized is that when the grass is taller than the deck is deep front to rear, you have to double cut a lot. A bush hog is better since the deck is so big and the grass can stand up under it. I’m general, the Pro Z has 35 hp. I am always a fan of having more hp. You can always use less but you cannot add more. Very rarely will the mower bog down with tall grass, even when wet. What do you charge for a 10ac field like this?
@@EronIler hey mate, I'm from Australia so I think our pricing could be completely different. I am just looking to invest in something new to do larger areas. Unfortunately I can't keep a tractor where live so I'm after the next best thing

Hopefully mtd has fixed the center spindle problem on these machines. They seize up solid even with proper lubrication.

@@awrlive Ventrac is between a tractor and zero turn if you do more woody material.
How long did it take you to do that with that Cub cadet
5.5 hrs from arrival to departure. The big time saver is around any obstacle. A tractor is just slow to cut around trees, posts, etc.
@@EronIler I agree I like Cub cadets
