I would say this is a good place to start along with Pierce the Veil and Sleeping with Sirens. They don't scream as much ( Yes it's called screaming xD ) but just to let you know, they do! ^-^ They are a little but lighter depending on the song you're listening to by them. *But hey, I'm not telling you where to go! Saw these guys on The Horror Nights Tour. They over shadowed the other bands. Seriously. At the end of all the bands there was a 'Get Scared' chant. They were by far the best of the entire lineup. And one of my favorite bands
Fun fact, two things people get mixed up is voodoo and hoodoo, hoodoo is the evil shit with stabbing dolls and puppets and whatnot. Voodoo is the more lighthearted good side of it, like blessing a person with good luck and shit.
