really cool video once more. You are clear, concise, precise and helpful. Just a side note : try to avoid night time battle shots or increase the gamma/luminosity a good notch because we can't see shit on those
If I'm playing a male character I tend to go for Hafisa of the Aserai. She starts at very low level (10 or 11 I think) has 4 Intelligence and 4 Endurance, very few wasted focus points, and is relatively young. Meaning you can build her however you like. For a long term playthrough she grows to be exceptionally strong. And you have the added benefit that, unlike most of the ones in this video, she won't beat you to a pulp in every tournament you try to win... because she won't enter them. I tend to avoid most of the more "infamous" wives, like the ones here, mostly because you're lucky if they get one or two levels over the course of a playthrough. What you see is kind of what you get. So other than moving perks around, don't expect much in the way of skill growth. And the skills they do have are usually all over the place. Most of them are wasted since you use the character for one or two roles at the most. If you don't care about that, then Svana all the way, lol. But if you want to invest time into building up your wife as an important part of your clan rather than a baby factory, I think you're better off going for one of the non-combat characters instead.
100% a valid strategy, I take Svana as usually I have her leading my infantry and its a nice boost early game and as she is in my party with me the babies come flowing in then I use the kids to custom build people for specific tasks. But as you say there is value is getting a wife that is younger that you can build up yourself and finding a companion or wife with half decent intellect is awesome
@@KnightlyGuides-yy8xl Yeah I noticed that in your infantry playthrough. You have a bigger family than the Sicilian Mafia, lol. It's very hard to do that on consoles, though, because you can't get the mod that speeds up time. And even getting one kid to come of age takes so long that to have a huge family... you'd literally die of old age first, never mind your character, lol. Interestingly, I once did a full playthrough as Svana. She became leader of the Sturgians and conquered the world in the name of the Barbarian Hordes. It's kind of a cool way to play. What you do is start with a normal character, rush to marry as quickly as possible, then go retire your character and take over as her. She's actually very cool to play. And if you're looking for a challenge, playing as a character with set skills from the beginning makes you have to think more. It does have a few interesting quirks though. If you do the Campaign mode, and take over as an established character before rescuing your family, the game treats you as though your parents were murdered and you have the same dialogue as though you were a fresh rolled character. And your brother talks to you as though you are his actual sibling. The game doesn't recognise it. And, rather annoyingly, if you retire your character after marrying, the character you take over as can't re-marry. Which I guess makes sense since their spouse didn't die, but they left for milk and cigarettes and never came back, lol. So it should count as the same thing.
I always pick a wife to be my governor after having kids. So basically after I get them I build up their engineering/steward til I’m satisfied with the perks, then make them a caravan trader to get the workshop bonus in settlement. Lastly make sure they have rogue 25 so prisoners can’t escape wherever I have them as governor. I’m king of Battania and Marunath my main capitol has 700 militia and 10k prosperity. She’s been queen for like 30 years just beefing the place up
I would like more info on getting other members of the clan and family married and getting them pregnant and filling the map with my descendants. I am playing really slow and will have a long playthrough on this first campaign and am looking to make a large dynasty.
I like it! Initial advice don't marry off your daughters, get the virile perk keep your wife in your party at all times. You can get 3-5 kids that way. Marry off your sons / grandsons asap to young nobles from other clans. Will work on something more detailed for you :-)
@@KnightlyGuides-yy8xl it should be a feature, i payed him like 120k for the marriage the least he could do is make me a governor lol. no corruption in calradia ig 🤷♂️
Hey good job İ have picked corein She gave birth to eight children We are both 37 yrs old now and she doesn't get pregnant anymore İ wonder if there is a chance to somehow get her killed and marry a younger wife to have some more children?
Two options there pal, 1 take all her armour off, separate her into a unit of her own and charge her into every battle first. Eventually she will die. Alternatively give her her own party when she gets captured try a prison break and kill her. Either way works.
@@KnightlyGuides-yy8xl thanks.i think i can kill her myself with projectiles in battlefield my question was will i get more children if i get young bride? İm 37 right now
I've had like 4 play through already and every time I still get Yana and she leads my Horse Archers while I lead the melee. Is it because she's a great warrior? Maybe. Is it because she is great governor/party leader? Maybe. Is it because she's all around a good wife? *HELL YEAH* And I'm just down bad for her. And in one play through, she gave me like 5 babies with all positive traits (+2 traits).
Yana is a solid pick, I always go Svana she leads my infantry and even in a 100% Sturgian Infantry only run where my entire army was on foot she never died. I think now I pick her out of respect from that playthrough!
But depends on how you want to play and because your wife can die due to giving birth a battle but early on the number help with army size which help with renown as a mercenary assuming you let people go rather than taking them prisoner, it will increase your charm. But then again I'm on console more accurately Xbox .
Corein is my soul mate
Corein is a little nutter, but you have to love her for it!
Trying to kill her now cause she is 44 and isn't giving me kids
Thank you for stats screen with focus points on every waifu
No worries brother

Lol I will keep that in mind thank you!

I just try and pick whichever one looks the best. Skills can be built out however you like them.
Its nice to have a head start on skills but yea you are right in time things can be done however you want 😀

Solid pick, I feel the same way about Arwa or Svana I always end up with one of those

Chalia and zoana are the best
Why?
Steward and trade
They are both skills are are usually both at 120 or higher for Steward and 100 for trade , and 100 to 120 for riding

Liena or fight me
