Love how your opinion at the end is so real. I recently just upgraded from the series 8 to the ultra 2 in natural titanium. The black one does look really sleek but, it also just looks like a regular watch unless you see the orange finishes and or you’re a tech geek. The natural titanium ultra just stands out a lot more as well and looks more posh. Great video. Just earned a sub! 🔥
The aluminum watch scratches stupid easily. The some reason I want the titanium is for the durability. The Ultra’s are near indestructible for that reason.
I bought the Jet Black and returned it a couple days later. I don’t recall hitting anything, but the lens was scratched a 3 places, one deep. I got the Slate Titanium and after a few days, it’s perfect.
I’ve had the Apple 1, Apple 6 stainless steel then watch 7 rn I got the ultra 1. Been very happy with all of them no need to upgrade at the moment. Ultra is my favorite 👌
Titanium IMO is only worth it if you get the Natural Titanium, which is what I got. The Titanium Slate looks to similar to the jet black to justify its increase in price.
I bought a series 8 new last year before series 9 came out . Paid £447 in Apple Store , then the Apple Care . Apple now offering me £130 trade in for Series 10 or Ultra . You video and others I have seen have convinced me there is nothing in the new watches that justify me upgrading and spending so much money .
Just picked up 2 month used Apple Watch Ultra 2 because my best friend just had to have the black version so he sold me his lightly used one for $365 which is what apple offered him for trade in so it was a no brainer for me!
bro shout out to your friend for passing you the alley oop instead of apple. either way he gets $365 off a new watch but now you get a great watch at a good price
I found this very helpful!!! I’ll admit I still don’t know which I want lol. I’m wearing the series 10 silver aluminum, but I’m still considering if I should trade it in for a gold titanium. all of these new watches are so nice.
Just purchased the black ultra 2! I agree it is sweet as you said that orange just pops on those buttons very versatile for colored bands my first ultra. I am excited thanks for your great video.
The black ultra watch scratches easily. I bought it and returned it. You have to be more careful with the black aluminum around the watch. I warned you
Bruh the ultra is titanium with DLC (diamond like carbon) coating which is harder than the titanium is on. The regular watch is aluminum which scratches easily just to lyk🤣
I really like the jet black Series 10 and am thinking about getting it, but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve been using my Series 7 for the past 2.5 years, and it’s working great apart from a few screen scratches. On one hand, I want to upgrade, but on the other, I’m considering waiting another year to see what the Ultra 3 brings.
Amazing video mate. The only thing that made me move from the Ultra 2 to the series 10 is the way the watch faces look in AOD. Infograph is a good example. The watch face shrinks slightly when in AOD but now it doesn’t. It stays the same!
Could you demonstrate the fit of Titanium band on the series 10 ? Ultra bands normally stick out - so it may not be matching well, but otherwise it is a very interesting combination I am considering.
Yup 😁. Looking forward for the long term review of the jet black one. Not going to pick if it going to be like the old iPhone 7 jet black which is prone scratches even with doing nothing.
This video was super helpful. After wearing an UW2 for a while, I was torn between aluminum black or titanium slate and your video confirmed aluminum for me. Not only is the aluminum actually black, but I want as sleek and lightweight as possible. Running with the UW2 was…fine… a bit heavy, but sleeping with it was awful imo. It’s just way too big. I want it to feel like the watch isn’t even there. You can also nearly buy 2 aluminum versions for the price of the titanium.
The Ultra 2 was made for folks like me. Problem is, folks like me don’t want a watch that’s in the way when running, biking, exercising, etc. idk 🤷♂️ 😂 Ultra 2 is a bit clunky, but glad to have it as an option. I have an Ultra 2… fits me well on a 6.75” wrist. However, I am going to give the series 10 natural titanium a try. I have avoided it for a while due to the lack of battery life. My job is physically demanding… hopefully the series 10 will hold up😂 Needs vs want. I probably need the Ultra for my lifestyle, but in terms of comfort and appeal, I want a series 10 titanium 😅
Apart of doing a follow up up how well/bad the jet black does with scratches, could you test the battery while using maps? Let’s say for 30 min walk 2 times a day, I’m worried it would not last the whole day
I am thinking of going ALL-IN and getting the Titanium AND the Ultra 2 in Black…. Just go big!. I bought a Series 9 for $298 just two months ago when the 10 came out. I thought that I would stay one year behind the curve and save some money. But these watches are just FIRE and I need to get them… Hey Apple JUST TAKE MY MONEY!!!
You just convinced me to keep my series 8 ss. I just got the AWU2 in black. Now you got me thinking I might miss the smaller Watch sometimes 😅 Might be clutch to be able to switch them out when I feel like it.
Aluminum vs Titanium looks wouldn't really matter to me much but that sapphire glass on Titanium vs Ion on Aluminum is a big difference. Sapphire is much more scratch resistant.
I think when it comes down to the Apple watches. I think the ultra and the black looks really nice. And I also think the series 10 in the titanium looks really nice and durable. I think it comes down to what type of activity level you’re in if you’re an extreme outdoors person if you’re someone who swims rock climbs, does all those crazy things. Then you probably wanna go with an Apple Watch Ultra too However the titanium in the series 10 it’s just adorable as the ultra watch but in a sleeper design. So they designed a Watch for every need. The ultra watch was made for outdoor enthusiast. It was made for those people who get out there and do that stuff. Some people do and some people don’t. I prefer the titanium with a sapphire because the watch is gonna be more durable and I’m always pulling my arms around and banging my wrist so I want something that’s gonna hold up the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and black is a little bit bulky and so it’s gonna really stand out there whereas the other watches in the series tens are more sleek and more dress are just for the average person out there. Thank you for answering the questions about the microphones. I was concerned about sound quality, especially since most of us take our calls on the speaker on our watch. It’s important that the person and can hear you and you can hear them clearly. Well, thank you for your presentation.
@@TausifHussain Sorry to bother you, how about put the titanium Milanese strap on the S10 Jet black? Will it look good? Can I take a look at the photo? Thank you
Is your Apple Watch 10 Jet Black the Cellular model or the GPS Only model? The reason why I ask is I wanted to know if the Gray Ring on the Digital Crown is the new Cellular indicator vs the Red Ring on the Apple Watch 9.
I don’t think there is cellular indication and all watches have grey ring. The cellular antenna is now part of the body of the watch on the bottom. Close to where the sensor array is.
Black titanium series 10 is meh and too similar to jet black... but the natural titanium series 10 is pretty slick. It's a darker shade vs the ss silver of years past. The incremental watch updates have not been worth since series 7... so for the money...just get a used stainless steel series 7 and wait 1-2 more generations.
Hardly anyone is mentioning the BEZEL increase. Compare the series 10 to older models like 7 or 8 and the 10’s bezels are 2-3x thicker. Apple tried to hide this by slightly increasing the case size.
👋 Hey, I have a different kind of “which apple watch” question - series 9 45mm or series 10 42mm. Forget about the specs (I’m aware of all improvements), I’m approaching this from the size angle.. My wrist is quite small (155mm), but I’d really like to get the biggest screen I can pull off (therefore I’m naturally biased towards larger size, even though it might look and feel funny)… In reality - how big of a difference is it between s9 45mm and s10 42mm? 🤔
Great video. Wish more people would do videos like this. I love the sleekness of the series 10 in black, but I also love the ultra 2 more rugged style for when I'm working out. Plus I got kids.
