@@oeddotdevI just upgraded to jet black S10 from my series 5. Seems there’s no reviews anywhere of the scratch resistance hey! I had the JB iPhone 7 back in the day - this watch seems to be holding up better than that did. I remember polishing the iPhone with a microfibre cloth and micro scratching straight away. The watch hasn’t done that so far, so fingers crossed it’s much harder.
I will also be upgrading from a Space Grey Series 4 to the Series 10 in Jet Black; it will be a decent upgrade. Not sure if I should go for the 46mm or the 42mm as I currently have the 44mm Series 4.
@@ofennwu I have the 46mm s10 slate and it does not feel heavy; although, I'm comparing it with both the series 7 titanium and the Ultra. It feels lighter on the wrist than each of those.
I may consider this year’s models but if Apple decides to add a new sensor such as blood pressure sensor or a sweat sensor etc it would be worth the wait and buy.
I got the aluminum in silver 46mm , I was not sure at first cuz the screen a bit big but I’m glad I went for it , it was true I charge it for 30 min and I got like 80% lasted all day so far
I upgraded from Series 4 to Series 10, and I’m impressed by the larger, brighter always-on display and the lighter design. The improved health features like blood oxygen measurement and sleep apnea detection offer peace of mind. Double-tap and faster charging are also great, and I’m happy to feel the progress over six generations.
Went from UW1 to S10 Titanium. I actually love it! I’m not really a diver, nor will I ever need its’ features so it was fine. I do miss the rugged look, but I love how light the s10 is
Thanks, I searched for a Screen comparison with Series 7/8/9. For me it seems to be a step back with bigger bezels in the Series 10. The Series 9 seems to be the better deal for me.
I think Apple are pulling a fast one. Technically they have increased the screen size, as in the crystal on the front is bigger. They've increased the size of it introducing bigger bezels in the glass and reduced the "metal" bezel that surrounded it. However I'm not sure there's a noticeable increase in the area that actually displays information. Notice how Apple didn't compare to the S7 onwards, only the S6 and previous. Bit like a cheap camera trick really.
The bezels are actually the same size. The glass on the Series 10 just wraps further down, which gives the illusion of making it look bigger. Plus, the Jet black colour doesn't help to make it look thinner compared to a lighter colour option.
Is anyone else upset that Apple made the watches polished but kept the phones somewhat brushed this year? Like I do like the way the brushed iPhones look, but I miss the days when the pro phones had glossy polished sides. They just looked so much more premium even if they were fingerprint magnets. But I mean that’s what happens, you touch something it’s going to get fingerprinty, I want Apple to go back
I'm returning my gold titanium series 10 for ultra 2. (Same price) I've had the series 10 for 24 hours, looks gorgeous, but the screen and battery are just not the same.
I upgraded my S7 edition to S10 and it feels a nice upgrade. Faster charging, 100% battery health again, slightly bigger screen, feels thinner and looks it. Over all an upgrade from S7
I got the Series 10 in silver and I love it. The Jet Black is gorgeous but I was afraid of getting it because I don’t think the finish it’s going to age well.
Sticking with the Ultra 2 this year. I got a bit tired of the standard Apple Watch style, which hasn't really changed a lot since day 1. So when the Ultra came out it really wowed me with its so different look and design and double the battery life, so I have no desire to go back to the standard Apple Watch again at this point. Looking forward to what the Ultra 3 will bring 😀
I'll be picking up a jet black 10 next weekend, upgrading from my blue series 7 with 82% battery health. The battery is easily tanking lately so I think that'll be a pretty good upgrade for me

I went from the S6 to S10 JB Aluminum, in large part because the ECG function had been working so poorly. It functions SO much better on the S10, as does everything else, and I do like the bigger display. (Can't say I'm missing the blood oxygen readout.) Yes, if you do a more in-depth video on the S10 features that would be great! Thanks!
I think you would like it. It's so much more than jst telling you the time. I was kinda hesitant at first, but once I got one and seen everything I could do, I've never gone back. Especially the health features ..I love that. :)
Not that I was in the market, I got an Ultra 2 at the end of last year, up from a Series 6. I probably would've waited until Series 10 (hoping it'd be called Series X) to see what was offered, but I really wanted to keep the functionality of the blood oxygen sensor. Taking a more active stance on my health and, as a former cardiac monitor tech, I know how important such readings can be. I'm glad to have found this year's offerings underwhelming which makes me enjoy my Ultra 2 purchase even more! No regrets
I’ve got a silver stainless steel series 8 and I don’t think I’m going to upgrade yet. It’s still got 100% battery health and handles everything I’ve thrown at it so far. I am curious how the new shiny finishes will hold up though, especially on the aluminum one. My series 8 is shiny and scratches easily, so I have to polish it up every once in a while. It’s not a big deal though (on the silver color at least).
I've just got my series 10 switching from the ultra. It feels so much thinner and lighter and I'm finding the double tap very useful. Battery life is great. Took it off charge at 8am with 100% and after 13 hours it's on 67% 👍🏻
The jet black looks really good. They say it’s 10% slimmer, but I feel like it looks more slim than that in your video. The watches look really nice, but I’m going to stick with my Ultra 2.
There were many times I would glance at my S5 aluminum and wish I had spent the extra to get the nicer stainless steel/sapphire model. This time I got the polished titanium and sapphire and I’m so glad I did. It might not seem worth it but I’ve come to the conclusion that spending the extra was worth it. It’s so damn sharp with a leather link band.
I’m on Series 8. It’s a solid watch and it has the Blood Oxygen Sensor. I would upgrade to the 10 for the sleep apnea function but I might hold off. I might go to Mexico and get a Series 10 that would allow the blood oxygen sensor, wrist temperature sensor to work together.

I traded in my Ultra 1 for an Hermes Series 10. I bought the jet black aluminum and got it yesterday but this morning I noticed there was a scratch by the slot where the band goes in. I think a metal lug scratched it when I was trying one of my metal bands in it. I went back and returned the jet black and put that money towards my Hermes which is the one I really wanted! I’ve had it a few hours and I love the bigger screen on the series 10! It feels so nice
Again a great review. I’ve bought the same 46mm Black Aluminum version as you did, with the same nylon band. Upgrading from the Series 5. Loving this upgrade.
I had an aluminum midnight series 7 in 45mm. I decided to sacrifice the blood oxygen readings and upgrade to the series 10 natural titanium because my series 7 battery health was down to 82% and was not getting me through the day. I have always wanted to have the sapphire crystal, but didn’t like the weight of stainless steel. I almost got my series 7 in titanium, but couldn’t bring myself to spend the money. I am looking forward to the larger screen, and mostly the second hand showing while in the always on mode.
Genius Bar podcast cameo 🙂. Setting up the Apple Watch is always very pleasing. Keeping my Ultra (1) for another year. I had an Apple Watch Edition in brushed dark Ti, Series 7 45mm.
Oxygen sensor is actually available in other regions except for US on series 10. I think the sensor is still on the watch in the series 10 in the US its just that the blood oxygen app is not available while they go through their lawsuit.
I'll be picking up the Aluminium version in a few months, I'm still on Series 4 and the battery is finally showing its limits and Apple have finally abandoned it on software updates too. To me it will be a massive upgrade 🤣🤣

I am happy to go back to a silver watch after the blue case I found it not as stylish as just the sliver Apple Watch. I’m looking forward to the big screen and the seconds hand with the screen off
I am surprised that for series 10 they didn't do any major design change like they did with iPhone X. I got a series 8 used a few months ago and I feel like I'll probably be good for two or three years since I was using a series 4 that still worked great just reduced battery life
