- Welcome to another trip report!
On September 30, I flew on one of Air Canada's many aging A320s from Toronto to New York. I sat in Economy but in a "Preferred" seat. This is basically the same experience as the Economy but with extra legroom.
I hope you enjoy the trip report!

It turns out there was an issue with the title and description of this video. I have a template that I use for all of my trip report titles and descriptions that is basically: TRIP REPORT | Delta Airlines - 737 800 - New York (JFK) to Sacramento (SMF) | First Class. Now obviously Delta doesn't operate this route 😂 but this title makes uploading easier since many of my flights depart from New York and arrive into Sacramento, so whatever information is incorrect I can just swap out for the actual flight info of the newest video. Needless to say, UA-cam glitched and showed it as a title. It's all fixed now :)
Enjoy the video!
P.S.
I just left NYC tonight to embark on a 19 flight journey that includes stops in Winnipeg, Barrow, Cold Bay, and other super cold places! Barrow has like a -50F wind chill, so that will be fun! 🥶 If you want to keep up with my travels follow @quintinsoloviev on Instagram!
Hey QFS avation do u take pictures of airplane windows during your travels?
yes that was a early model 320...thanks for the quick ride✈✈✈✈✈✈✈
4:05: QFS notices the aisle passenger has their eyes on the empty footspace
4:06: QFS swiftly shoves his bag in the empty footspace with his feet lol
By far the best filming technique out there for trip reports.
Thanks for making the text based videos where you put text it really helps me when I want to watch aviation reviews on a quiet environment :) Keep it up man great vid!
hi qman. nothing like a little glitch to keep you on your toes. nice report and looking forward to the 19 city one. should be epic. thanks for sharing, and fly safe my friend.
I love the thumbnail picture! Having different Air Canada tails in the background is a great idea!
The ones with a red Maple Leaf inside a red semi circle is actually Rouge, a low cost subsidiary of AC. AC is in the process of changing all their livery over to the dark coloured tail from the "ice blue" as QFS described it.
@@brianmcdonald6519 I actually knew all that, it's just cool to see all the different ones!
I agree with you on that. It probably doesn't happen too often.
The editing done by you at 4:43 is AMAZING!
For a little "extra" the leg room looks great !! Love an empty seat in the middle !! Loved that take off vision and sound out of YYZ !! Pretty good flight judging by your score on landing!! Thanks again for a most excellent review and I look forward to your next flight/adventure etc !!
Another cool trip report 👌 just seeing YYZ reminds plane spotting there....I can't wait for my trip to Toronto ☺🙌
Splendid! I thoroughly enjoyed your report. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Great editing Q-Man! Big like
Awesome video man
I like what you did at 4:43
Love the video keep up the great work
Nice departure footage out of YYZ.
very nice report!
Idiot, video just came out
For seat pitch in case you’re wondering, AC’s preferred seats have up to 4” more pitch. The a320 economy seats have 32” according to their website so that would give the a320 preferred seats 36”. I also noticed that their narrowbodies are their only planes where the preferred seats are a proper economy plus product. They should make the preferred seats on their widebodies a proper extra legroom zone with the first few rows plus bulkhead and exit rows offering at least the same extra 4” of pitch cause it could help generate more revenue for Air Canada in the long run.
Thanks QFS !!
today's Q re-view is a flight taken two years ago today (9-30), and is sponsored by a slow IFE. Pretzels and orange juice made a brief appearance and the out the window photography was great, especially the descent through the clouds. well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra and as always thanks for sharing!
hey qfs, in you're next trip report I was wondering what the album of the songs you play are.
Nice video

Blue collar Silver dollar I’m just saying I liked the video haven’t watched the whole thing but I like it so far...
Happy Smile4life I’m just saying how I liked the video I don’t care about how many likes my comments gets...
Honestly I would expect the IFE to be slow because it’s old and that what electronics do when they age
Does anyone know what planes Air Canada are going to be replacing the A320s and Boeing 767s with? Thanks for the video!
QFS Aviation, was it illegal for United to not provide any service on the flight from SFO to ORD you took back in December 2017?
This same route had a situation where the landing gear fell off on feb18
2:46 .. you giant xD
Cold place humm canadian north flight?
Itripreports also did a report on this
Le temps de vol eter de combien
I think the title of the video is wrong. It says Delta Airlines JFK-SMF and I think the video is mismatched
For $20, the extra legroom would be well worth it on a longer trip. For an hour's flight I might be cheap and plan to use the $20 for a good dinner at my destination. If the plane is due for retirement they wouldn't be updating the IFE - which you really didn't need on this short flight anyway.
I remember being on AC in 2009 on this type of A320 and we were amazed by how great the PTV system was :) oh what 12 years does to a cabin.
you flew on my birthday
Dude come to southeast Alaska the flyings un imaginable

Ah, pretzels! I was hoping maybe Air Canada could offer something different. But free is free hehehe! - Red

Why is Air Canada taking forever to paint their A319s/320s? Lol
Not much sense in painting them if they are being phased out anyway!!
