That two years of security updates is almost morally reprehensible. Considering the hardware will last a lot longer than that. For gaming centric device, Android updates aren't super important but security patches still are.
Android updates are still important, even if you are a gamer. Just look at it this way: This device here is getting two OS updates. Means it will be stuck at android 16 or 17. Let's say you are still using this Tablet for a few years after these two OS updates are done. Then the playstore will tell you at some point that your OS is too old so you are not able to open certain apps anymore. So the Tablet will become obsolet.
@makunouchiippo816 It will take awhile after it stops getting Android updates before games no longer support that version of Android. Not even close mate
@@lzrandreylzr oh easily mate. The M1 chip is faster in games.
@@thorium9190 the only advantage it has, is the optimization. It's easier for game developers to optimize games for M and A series chips rather than 50 exynoss, mediatek and snapdragon chips. But just graphics alone 8 gen 3 is already ahead of what the iPhone 16 pro has. And the 8 elite smokes the M1 and even M2 chips
Can't wait to see the next redmagic smartphone with that 8 elite processor
It would be a very interesting comparison.
Hasn’t Red Magic recently garnered a reputation for scamming people? 😅
