    Maybe it's just me, but it seems you didn't actually provide information on "How to Become a Cybersecurity Analyst" as the title suggests, but rather a handful of generally useful information for IT careers...

    Awesome job man, I tried CCNA/ Cisco, whatever for 2 years, I gave up LOL. However, I landed a job as an IT guy, been at work for 10 years now. Hope for another 10 years. CISSP is my commitment now.

    Are Cybersecurity Analyst and Cybersecurity Engineer exactly the same thing or do they differ in job responsibilities and job qualification requirements?

    I remember wanting a job with EDS back in 93 or 94 when I was insanely interesting in entering IT. Think it was owned by a politician Ross Perot

    EDS - you poor thing! Were you forced to learn COBOL? And threatened to re-pay EDS for your training if you left before 5 years? I love your videos - great stuff.

      Soniya shah noor also might I add I previously held a Network Engineer post with no real networking experience. It's not gonna be the same for everyone but my point is, experience and certs done matter as much as knowledge of concepts

      @@sonygoup I wanted be a cyber security analyst. But I find compITA A+ very dry so I was confused weather its a necessity to get it before security+

      Soniya shah noor if you already have a job in IT or higher certs then no. If you have no experience or certs then yes. You have to be able to validate your skills.

      As someone who has the certifications of A+, Network+, and Security+, there is overlap of information in the three certifications. For example, knowing port numbers and their corresponding services, helps on both exams. And the Security+ is the hardest of the exams.

    why not mention OSCP in Intermediate and beyond?

      Why mention A+ or Net+ for that matter. Those aren't usual entry level certs

      OSCP is not intermediate, its very high end...

      prithuadhikary I think he’s a Gen X how old should he look?? Lol! in the 80’s he was probably just very young with a job I’m Gen X and I’ve been mistaken for an older millennial by some not sure why,..but anyways Gen Xer’s aren’t ancient :)
