- In recent weeks, I've had a hunch that Mouse & Keyboard might be worth trying, especially after the recent sandbox update. In today's video we have a good old fashioned gaming experiment: 12 games total, 6 on each input device (3 from the Control playlist and 3 from the Competitive playlists). Afterwards, we tally up all the stats (Kills, Defeats, Efficiency, W/L) to see which input device is superior. We also share our thoughts during the conclusion of this experiment and go beyond the numbers. Enjoy! Make sure to leave a like and comment which input device you prefer and why.

As someone who's been gaming since 1996, playing destiny since the alpha, switched from controller to mnk in 2021, there's definitely certain weapons perform drastically different between inputs. Sidearms, SMGs, fusion rifle, autos, slug shotguns and snipers all favor controller. Yes, both have aim assist, with mnk slightly more. But controller has reticle friction which literally tracks a target for you. In my opinion, reticle friction could be tuned down a little
reticule friction pulls you into a direction, it does not track for you, it honestly gets annoying when im trying to choose who to fight, in specific situations, shouldn't be aiming at groups anyway lol but yeah i agree with you for the most part
In my opinion controller play has improved a lot due to the ability of being able to turn my dead zones down to zero.... this makes controller a lot more fluent and snappy in my opinion.
P.S. when it comes to saying what is better between M&K and Controller i strongly feel that it all comes down to preference, If someone has played exclusively on controller for 20 years and never touches M&K than there gonna find it easier and better to use Controller but if someone comes along that prefers M&K and never plays controller than the person that prefers M&K would find M&K better than controller.... Whats the better input device between Controller and M&K truly comes down to preference these days because both input methods have been improved over the years and are very close what it comes to game play.
Still need to try cranking mine down to 0. The new update has everyone’s maxed out I think and it feels awful
@@MakowskiHalo 0 is where its at man, it feels great if your controller is a higher quality controller... But turning your dead zones down to 0 can enhance stick drift if your controller already had a little bit of stick drift so just keep an eye out for that.

I played controller my whole life from SNES in the 90s to the Elite controller all the way until 2023 when I switched to PC. Haven’t touched a controller since. M&K feels leaps and bounds more natural.

I plugged in a controller for the first time in 5 years 3 days ago and started doing better than I've done on mnk in that 4 years. I've done aim trainers, etc. I honestly think why you do "better" on mnk is for the same reason I "prefer" mnk. Hand Cannons are better on mnk because of the better movement. use an SMG or an Auto and it's genuinely no contest. I genuinely think on SMG and Autos and Pulses (all of which outgun hand cannons ttk wise) controller is strictly better than mnk, and pairing that with less flinch in the game soon, it's over. you won't be able to flinch controllers off their shots anymore to make up for your worse ttk. I really just think controllers benefit from the meta too hard. Hand Cannons will always be better on mnk than controller because of movement diff, but other weapon archetypes benefit from controller's strengths much harder
The flinch update will be very interesting. I can never regain on roller like I can on mnk. If flinch isn’t as bad you’re right, could be a huge buff to roller/HC coming soon

Imo the input meta is just controller for tracking weapons and snipers, mnk for HCs and shotties. Also the slower the game plays the more roller is favored for the consistency of it. I just use mnk cuz I find it more satisfying all round.
I usually feel this way, but the slowdown of play in multiplex trials forced me to switch to mnk to better combat flanks, med-long range gunfights

A new input switch is actually super refreshing for gamers who have been going at it for decades. Felt like I was gaming for the first time again when I picked up mnk. Loved that feeling
PvE = MnK, PvP = controller for most players
I didn’t know if many did that but that’s been my preferred way to play for a couple years now
although there are a lot of pros and cons on pvp, we can say 100% sure that mnk is much more superior on pve.

M&K has such a ridiculous range of movement in combination with how quickly/seamlessly you can adjust your aim whilst having little to no recoil when compared to controller, that it is literally no contest.
Why do you think that PC players win over console players so often?
Because it’s more or less unfair for the average player of both sides in a 1v1, that’s why cross platform play was held off for so long.
truth is that 90% of roller players are shit at the game, stop lying to yourself

I do feel like I can react to flinch/recoil on mnk better. One of the pros to using it for sure

My point is, if you put your average M&K user against a controller player of the same skill level, M&K takes the W 8/10 times.
my kind of playstyle and weapons goes more for controller than MnK. Bows can be good on mnk but lean more to hip firing. That and sidearms are better on controller than they are on MnK. its all about preference. (btw those mnk comp matches were just really bad games and not on you whatsoever). Well thought out mak
