I've been looking at brz's/86's, mustangs, camaros, is350s, q50s, 328is, TLX's, 1995-2006 corvette's, 2000-2006 911's and a ton more in-between.
At the end of the day, I think I'll be settling on a S3.
I had to relaize that hp, for myself, isnt the biggest deal. Its how the hp is transfered to the road.
I wont pass 93 mph (on streets) so its all about the 0-60 times, handling and a manual transmission.

the grille i got was from china i forgot who sold it to me but it for sure came from china lol. although from china it did have the cutout and the fitment is pretty nice 😂🫶 . blackforest industries has another one similar if not the same!

Hey dude, thanks for the video, really cool detailed insight. Question for you. I'm currently running a stage 1 14' S3 but wanting to get into the tuning world of this platform. The goal is an all out stage 2 BUT without buying a different turbo (would rather a holiday for 3.6k lol). So, my question to you is should I go all out and get every supporting mod for power increases aka full induction kit, all charge / inlet hoses, turbo elbow, sports cat downpipe, intercooler, upgraded coil pack, better spark plugs...the whole shebang? OR are there certain ones which are exponentially better value for money than others? if so what are your top 3 mods for biggest gains? Cheers from the UK!
thanks for watching man! and no problem i got you, my opinion would be these top 3: intercooler , FULL intake at least 3inch diameter with complimenting turbo inlet pipe (DBV2 or similar), and lastly a downpipe are going to give you the most gains for your buck, the charge pipes are a great way to increase flow but value wise with those 3 mods absolutely your ride will be a new one ! hope to hear the progress from you man cheers! good luck let me know if you have any other questions .

What fuel pump module did you use bro....im on a stage 3 tune in my 2015 s3 also...450 whp 400tq....my stock module is playing the fool so I'm going to upgrade it now...thanks for the info

Honestly if you do the math 16k over 24+ months = $666 per month. Some people spend that much on bar tabs. Plus when you sell the car you'll recoup 50%+ of those mod costs.
I didn’t see if you mentioned map sensors? I’m also local to four seasons and plan on making the switch when I go hybrid
yessir good looks i forgot about that! i do have the upgraded 4-5 bar map sensor on the charge pipe as well as the precision boost tap kit on the intake manifold! nice man i hope you enjoy it! what mk7 do you drive?
@@ashes_s3928 I havent changed my name, I had a mk7 GTi but I sold it and got an AWD A3. Currently fbo on e85 stock turbo. Saving up to either go hybrid on this or to make the switch to a golf r. I kind of miss having a hatchback haha
@@LoXHumaN fuck ya bro! that sick tho the quattro A3 are basically a S3 with a few mods and tune. If you stay A3 and want to go United tune i have the Haldex controller that is flashed by United just sitting around, its for more rear bias and foot pedal controls if you wanna buy it! its straight plug and play, take your haldex off and put this one on! check out their website it tells about the software and its compatability
How are the weather tech rain guards? They stick or clip on pretty good?

@@ashes_s3928 yeah I've been looking at used 17s/18s while I wait for my b5 s4 to sell and havnt found a carbon package, probably rare af. Would look soo clean with a carbon and alcatra flat bottom wheel !
I've got an S3 Cabriolet (8v also). 450 horsepower, which seems a little low but I went for the most responsive least laggy turbo on the market because I like usable power. I can add another 35-50 horsepower getting flexfuel setup. Reckon this would be noticeable?
if the tuner you use is suggesting 50whp then yes you would notice that , it’s a lot cleaner of a fuel for your engine in quite a few ways anyway. i love running it and the car loves it too.
@@ashes_s3928 nah that's not wheel horsepower, plus I realised I'm almost at the limit of my turbo. I could get a turbo Technics v5 turbo and the E85 set-up which would allow me to make the maximum power the stock engine can handle but I don't track the car and I'm not sure it's worth losing some responsiveness for more power high up in the rev range.
I'd be better off paying for some track time and some driving lessons to be honest. Excited to get some smaller wheels. My car is on stock 19 inch rims, and it's lowered 35mm. The roads around where I live aren't good enough for that set-up. I'm gonna get some 18s and new tyres. Thinking pilot sport 4s or 5. What's your favourite tyres for daily street use?
tbh i love the meat and traction the toyo r888s gave me. but i lived in cali where weather was always dry. if you need an all season i think the pilot sports to great, or the continental extreme or sport contact is a great tire as well
Whats needed to run e85 just mpi and lpfp ?
yessir! you’ll want a ethanol content sensor as well but for the expensive stuff those are the two main things you need! thanks for watching 💪

hey man thanks for watching , to answer your question IMO tbh it all depends on who and how you tune it. i have daily driven it like this for almost two years equating to 35k miles and i haven’t had any mishaps other than standard maintenance, but on that same token i have seen cars with less power grenade while doing highway speed. the safe bet is to build the motor. once built they are bullet proof up to 50psi +. i’m on stock motor so i sometimes worry but not much because my tuner at United Motorsports provided me with a safe conservative street tune. these little engines are quite welcoming to performance modifications it’s very surprising to say the least. thanks for your interest man i’m happy to answer anything else!
@@ashes_s3928 thanks for detailed opinion. 2 years of daily driving is something, have heard that more than stage 2 for those engines is dramatic, but as i see you took care of your car and most important thing is to have fun. so i fish you luck and a lot of fun, hope to fet s3 for myself too
@@ygalion more than stage 2 is not dramatic at all on these cars. You must be thinking of a different platform. It is really the wtq that should be worried abt. Which is why tuners keep it around 420 wtq
How is the car when doing pulls on the highway? Damn 500 is fast, mine really got stage 1+ tuned and i think my car in unbeatable lol
