This is actually quite accurate representation of playing the game in 2004 when you were 8 years old and had absolutely no idea what to do. Just walking and scavenging everywhere and trying to do some quests but had no idea how to get bread.

FYI: @ 42:20 mining a rock and receiving a random gem (i.e. any gem that's not from a specific Gem Rock, like in Shilo Village) will NOT give mining XP, so even if that was a gem from the rock it would be okay to keep it.

Not exactly. Take minigames for example, he said he could only get rewards from them if they were untradeable or he didn’t get xp from said minigame, and I’d assume this philosophy applies to barrows

His rule isn't clear-cut/consistent across the board.

If you can start and make progress in the King's ransom quest, you can then obtain the hair clip which works the same as a lock pick and is untradeable

Okay I don't normally like to comment twice, but this video was so great that I felt the need to give feedback. I didn't think I would be captivated enough to watch a 2 hour video, but your video style is very entertaining. Those quick little edits were hilarious to me (actually chuckled out loud). I also liked seeing you explore the world at your own pace rather than just looking up everything beforehand. Only advice I can give for the series is regarding smithing training. I actually have a wilderness uim, and the gold ore spawn in the wilderness is roughly 6250 exp per hour with world hopping and smelting. However, with the ability to bank at the ferox enclave, I think grabbing iron bars and banking them at the enclave will be faster experience per hour. This seriously might be one of my favorite videos of 2022 so far. Was a great watch while I'm stuck home sick.

Not sure how feasible it would be but if you got steel bars from a Larran's chest then you could pick up planks from spawns and do mahogany homes contracts until 20 construction then get a house in Pollnivneach then cast house tele to get into the desert. This negates the need to farm clues for a Nardah scroll
Wintertodt would technically work as well right? you get exp getting the crate but no exp opening the crate to get items. might be a good way to get resources to train your stats.
When you think the barronite mace is bad, I'm pretty sure the best boots obtainable on this account are the 50 hour grind castle wars "Decorative boots (gold)" which are equivalent to adamant boots. They provide +1 strength bonus.

Just checked, you can do eagles peak (you can get yellow dye from farming guild) but the boulder outside of the eagles earie is blocked by a boulder. The boulder has to be moved from outside so once you get a nardah Tele you can do it
I was just thinking minnows will be a great source of food since they are untradable and thus acquiring the sharks grants 0xp but I guess it would just be cooking xp since the sharks couldn't be kept after they were cooked :/
1:19:08 Fun fact, that mace allows F2p to get up to ~40k+ combat exp/h which is around 5-10k improvement from the previous best training methods in the game, specially when you need 90+ smithing to make a rune scimitar. So no that mace isn't garbage, it's actually F2p Ironmen's best in slot for a long time.
You can get seeds, herbs, and gems from completing tasks from the wise old man by the way. Should be within the snowflake rules, he doesn't give XP for his little minigame thing.

At 51:10, you could also get in to the desert by moving your house to the desert and teleporting to house. Fairy rings might also be possible to tp in?
Would caskets from the tempoross reward pool be allowed? You use points from the mini game and while you do get xp from using the pool, the caskets are untradeable. Tempoross is also a good way to get hammers, buckets, rope, and harpoons.
Keep in mind you can cast many spells at the fountain of rune in the wildy for 0xp so you can still alch. If you can somehow miraculously get lunars then that’s also free hunter kits
Unless there’s some requirement I’m forgetting, I think you can easily get into the desert by talking to Ferryman Sathwood in Al Kharid to get to the Ruins of Unkah.

Just checked, you can do eagles peak (you can get yellow dye from farming guild) but the boulder outside of the eagles earie is blocked by a boulder. The boulder has to be moved from outside so once you get a nardah Tele you can do it

You should be able to get into the desert from the Tempoross area. There should be a boat from Al Kharid. Hope this helps!
I was just thinking minnows will be a great source of food since they are untradable and thus acquiring the sharks grants 0xp but I guess it would just be cooking xp since the sharks couldn't be kept after they were cooked :/
1:19:08 Fun fact, that mace allows F2p to get up to ~40k+ combat exp/h which is around 5-10k improvement from the previous best training methods in the game, specially when you need 90+ smithing to make a rune scimitar. So no that mace isn't garbage, it's actually F2p Ironmen's best in slot for a long time.

You can get seeds, herbs, and gems from completing tasks from the wise old man by the way. Should be within the snowflake rules, he doesn't give XP for his little minigame thing.
He gives prayer and hp xp randomly
If it ever happens again the place where you get stuck between the webs you can search the sacks for a knife if I remember correctly
You can travel to the desert for free at any time by going under al kharid and traveling to tempoross :)

At 51:10, you could also get in to the desert by moving your house to the desert and teleporting to house. Fairy rings might also be possible to tp in?
Also eagle transport, but that's locked behind fairy rings

Would caskets from the tempoross reward pool be allowed? You use points from the mini game and while you do get xp from using the pool, the caskets are untradeable. Tempoross is also a good way to get hammers, buckets, rope, and harpoons.

Keep in mind you can cast many spells at the fountain of rune in the wildy for 0xp so you can still alch. If you can somehow miraculously get lunars then that’s also free hunter kits

Unless there’s some requirement I’m forgetting, I think you can easily get into the desert by talking to Ferryman Sathwood in Al Kharid to get to the Ruins of Unkah.
