You can get in miscellania through fairy rings, I’m not sure if this requires fremmenik trials or not since I’ve always had that quest done, but I know it doesn’t require throne of miscellania
Spirit flakes from tempoross are untradable so can be kept and used to double fish catches without giving extra xp, so even when discarding the initial fish the extra bonus fish can be kept meaning you have access to every fish without breaking any rules
you can pick the lock on the stone chest in lizardman temple in zeah and get medium clue scrolls (1/100) AND MORE IMPORTANTLY: xeric's talismans (1/300). the talismans are untradeable and while you need tradeable lizardman fangs to charge them, you can disassemble any spare talismans for 100 fangs each, thus allowing your account to teleport across zeah
You can get free farming equipment in CoX - specifically, a seed dibber/spade/rake. You can scout for a raid with a farming room early on to grab the supplies, and then leave
There's currently a birthday event going on in Lumbridge which gives you a regular fishing rod and a singular fishing bait, if you take part in it. That might be part of the way towards being able to complete Heroes Quest, if you're somehow able to complete Dragon Slayer. Can't hurt to claim the rod and bait now that the event is going on.

It seems to me like this should be allowed within the rules. Completing the agility pyramid is essentially just traveling to a location and picking up an untradeable. And then exchanging that untradeable for a tradeable (coins) isn't explicitly against the rules at all

Plus, barrows armour could potentially be considered within his restrictions because it's obtained when opening the chest and not when killing the brothers, so he could use gold for repair fees.
Just an idea. You can get golden wool during the Fremenik trials quest which is untradeable. It might be possible to use that as a normal ball of wool. Though it's probably another red berry pie situation.
For the seed dibber to start farming. You can enter Chambers of Xeric and get the resource room first to get a Rake, seed dibber and a spade off the wall with no xp. Hope this helps :) You can also make a Tool store 5 in your house to get all those items plus secateurs from it.
If you want a decent stab weapon, there is the untradeable rapier you can purchase from an NPC on Mos' le Harmless after cabin fever, its the rune scimmy equivalent of stab weapons

Could be useful as I think with your restrictions you'd be allowed to purchase them as you'd technically be buying an untradeable, even if it can be easily converted into an untradeable.
You can do Motherlode Mine for Coal. You only get XP from cleaning higher level ores, because the pay-dirt gives you coal XP when you first mine it. Because you're allowed to keep the pay-dirt, which is untradeable, and you get no XP from cleaning coal, you should be able to keep it. Not sure if that's even useful, but.
You can make a tool store 5 which contains a seed dibber and secateurs at 55 con. You could level con through WT, perhaps running around fixing braziers while someone is doing the normal solo WT. Then pick up steel bars in the task only area of the Brimhaven dungeon and normal planks from barb outpost to do beginner mahogany homes, earning you carpenter points to buy supply crates that have a 1/6 chance of having the oak planks you need to build the tool store 5. A side benefit of this is you will probably be doing enough to get WT crates as well, without doing it the standard way which kinda vibes better with the account.

yeah the plan was to make steel bars for mahogany homes and do this for the oak plank reward. I was going to get the iron/coal from tokkul shops in mor ul rek after fire cape, use the fountain of rune for 0 smithing/mage xp on super heat spell (weirdly enough have tested this and it works). Task only area in brimhaven is super high req to get into I think

15:15 personally I think you should be able to un-note your items from Phials. You're not gaining any items by doing it you are just converting them. You could do that at a bank for free. I think the same thing should be okay with butlers because you're not really gaining anything new if anything you are losing gp.
A paper saying you have 100 sharks in your possession is not the same as 100 sharks, i dont see how these items can be the same. Yea the bank note represents sharks, but its not a shark, you cant eat it

I agree. Though I’m sure there are people who will make the argument that noted items and un-noted items are different. However I think the thing here to consider is that with the construction guy he is not paying for an item, but for a service. Using him to un note an item, to me is the same as paying for a charter ship. As long as the item you are un noting was obtained though legitimate means, there is no reason he shouldn’t be able to use the service.
@@failproductionsdk it's not really a "new" item, he had already obtained the item and would just be paying GP for Phials to convert it into a usable state. either way it'd be wasting extra time not really doing any gameplay just because of some technicality even though he already got the item fair and square.
For the maze randoms you can search the same chest over and over to get the loot after the chest resets and even if your inventory fills up it will get put into your bank, dont think it gives xp. Not sure how worth it would be but it should be a decent source of arrows. The wiki has a little section on this too. Love the series keep it up!
Hi Rendi. I rarely comment on content creators’ videos. Like many people I just watch the content uploaded by multiple creators when it suits me, usually on an evening to unwind. I live vicariously when watching hours of effort condensed into short clips. It makes me feel still connected to a game that I grew up playing, now that I’m an adult and have to work to survive. However, I wanted to take a moment to comment on this video just to say that I have always enjoyed and particularly look forward to your uploads. I enjoy the story / journey you’ve been on and even though I don’t know you on a personal level, I feel like you’re probably a really decent person, with a good set of morals and a laid back sense of humour - it really comes across in your videos. In a game where everything has already been done, re-done and re-imagined, you have somehow managed to create an intriguing and new(albeit almost masochistic) way to play the game. Based on your restrictions, you could technically go to wintertodt and gain xp to get the untradeable loot crate... but idk going to wintertodt wouldn't feel right lol. Feels kinda against the spirit of things.

I don’t know if the area is restricted behind a quest or something and Im too lazy to check but Ice Trolls north of Jatizso drop noted balls of wool. There are warrior npcs there that attack the ice trolls too. If im not mistaken, i think you can land atleast a 0 and still have their drops count for you as long as the warrior npcs finish off the kill for you. Meaning you wont be gaining xp from kills that npc kill for you as long as you landed a 0. Someone feel free to correct me lol
Okay I’ve stepped out of my laziness and I don’t think it works. I could have sworn i was getting drops when hitting atleast a 0 back when I was farming trolls. I think you have to land atleast a 1, obv meaning gaining xp, for the drops to appear for you when the NPCs finish the kill.
What about the summoned units from the Arceuus spellbook? You don't get XP from a summon killing something, and you should be able to unlock that spellbook in the library (+ ez runecrafting xp if you need it). Imps only have 8hp and drop balls of wool, so it's an easy kill with the weak ass summons. Phenomenal videos Rendi!
Hmm, casting the spell gives XP, doesn't it? It's an interesting edge case, where gaining XP is required, but is not directly tied to the kill. One could argue that it's no different than picking up an item spawn behind an agility shortcut or a locked door.

Can you do agility pyramid for gp based on your logic for soul wars crates? Isn't the pyramid top an untradeable? And then you trade that into to Simon for 10k.
The alchemy room in MTA might be a stumbling block since you're alching for the GP you need to turn in-though it's possible the gold is an untradeable version rather than normal gold you can't trade within the area, I'm not sure.
hm, I just had a thought. there are npcs in the game with hilariously decreased combat xp rates. I wonder how often it would occur that you could kill one without gaining any xp drops. if fairy rings is ever a thing you can do, the enchanted valley might be a good place to look for this, or maybe the abyssal area. just an idea, there may be potential in there to get some mob drops via technicality
The problem with this is that it isn't actually that the NPCs are giving no XP. They are still providing an XP amount that is logged to your account, but you will only get an XP drop when this rolls over to a whole number. I'm not sure exactly how this works in OSRS, but in RS3 while you are logged in, the game is capable of storing XP values up to the third decimal, i.e. 0.001 but on relog only one decimal will be preserved. For example, if you gain 0.005 XP 111 times and log out, you will have 0.555 XP trimmed to 0.5 XP on relog without ever receiving an XP drop. If you do the same action 100 more times after relog, you will finally get an XP drop of 1 as it rolls over to 1.000. Given that this adds to a permanent total sum of XP if it is accrued into a large enough sum, it feels disingenuous to say that no XP is exchanged, even if that amount were to later be truncated away.
I had a thought while I was watching, and I hope it can help some. The skull sceptre from stronghold of security is untradeable, and the pieces that make it up are as well. You can charge the sceptre with the spares of the pieces you use to make it, so it'd be a decent teleport option to barb village. With how hard travel can be, it seems like a good idea to at least check it out.
If you do the Daddy's homes miniquest in Varrock you get a box of construction supplies which is an UNTRADABLE. It gives you some steel bars, planks, nails and even some teletabs. Once again, this box you recieve as a reward for the miniquest is an UNTRADABLE item. I dunno if because it still gives you tradables that you won't use it, I thought it might be worth noting for later gear you need to obtain Edit: I just got to the point in the video where you explain that yeah that's a viable middle step with the Soul Wars crates

Legit clue farming tip I learned from RakineX, a desert locked ironman, for your next clue grind. He did this for easy clues to get his staff of air. If your clue gets to a step that you cannot do, just keep it. Say you've finished 2 steps from a medium clue and you can't complete the third step, keep the clue and go back to guards or whatever that drops med clues. Drop the clue and pick it back up (so it doesn't despawn) in between guard kills so you have a chance to get a new clue scroll drop since you can still get them as long as you don't have the same level clue in your bank or invy. As long as the old clue has not despawned, the new clue drop will actually keep the same amount of steps completed as the old one so if you can complete the step on the new clue, it would count as the 3rd step and not the first. Hopefully this still works .
I've always done this, I have no idea why other snowflakes never do. I did find that if you do get a new clue, do not check steps cause that resets it. It's been a few years so im not sure if it still works
Keep an eye out for the poison dynamite update that may be coming out. The devs chatted about it in a recent blog. Basically you need dynamite + nightshade to make. (Dynamite is made with untradeables except a pot & salt petre which can be collected from supply crates in WT). Cave nightshade can be obtained during watchtower quest, but not sure if you can get all the items for that. The Dynamite can poison enemies but not grant xp.
currently studying law, and per the terms of your own conditions; i.e., the transfer of gp and/or xp for tradable items, you can in fact keep the gp from pest control as its not the product of an action resulting in xp.
im pretty sure that falls under the same rule that stops him from buying silk from the guy in al kharid because its still trading gp for a tradable item
I think you're wrong about the nail spawn. For a quest in kourend, the one south of the farming guild I believe, there's a nail spawn that gives 10 nails per collect and it's from a box I believe. You could very easily stock up on thousands of nails without hopping worlds.
just checked it, it seems to be a one-time pickup of 20 iron nails from the workbench in the shed. Although, the house nearby has a shelf with unlimited red and yellow dye, and there's a needle, thread, and another unlimited flour barrels upstairs.
If its possible for you to get ava's accumulator, it will pick up random steel items, including nails. You could wear that around while doing other things to passively acquire steels bars/nails slowly
@@Luckysquirrel1256 A mithril axe can be obtained if it is xp drops that it is based on. Tree spirits (requires fairy rings) have -97.5% xp boost, meaning you get basically 0 xp and it doesn't give an xp drop. The issue is actually the holy symbol.

I don’t think you should have to drop the coins from pest control. You aren’t acquiring it from the xp gains you are acquiring it for keeping the void knight safe which takes strategy and skill. Killing the spinners and closing the gates etc

The actual action of depositing the pay-dirt doesn’t give the exp and the action of withdrawing doesn’t give exp either. The exp drop just happens in the middle when you’re doing zero actions. So maybe it could be an exception?
Coal from Motherlode mine doesn't give XP from depositing the paydirt. Only mining the pay dirt gives XP for the mined coal. Any ore HIGHER than coal gives XP when depositing, but it seems valid to keep coal!
Update: you can use Christmas crackers on fellow group ironmen I suggest you could theoretically make 5 alt accounts in a group ironman with yourself and only yourself and then try for 10 chances at silk come Christmas and each year following... of course that's some major dedication. 🙄

In my experience you get about half as many fangs from disassembled talismans as you do directly, so it shouldn't even be that annoying to sustain.

You could mine dark essence and chisel it for 8 crafting xp. Both are untradable.

Could be useful as I think with your restrictions you'd be allowed to purchase them as you'd technically be buying an untradeable, even if it can be easily converted into an untradeable.
You can do Motherlode Mine for Coal. You only get XP from cleaning higher level ores, because the pay-dirt gives you coal XP when you first mine it. Because you're allowed to keep the pay-dirt, which is untradeable, and you get no XP from cleaning coal, you should be able to keep it. Not sure if that's even useful, but.
You can make a tool store 5 which contains a seed dibber and secateurs at 55 con. You could level con through WT, perhaps running around fixing braziers while someone is doing the normal solo WT. Then pick up steel bars in the task only area of the Brimhaven dungeon and normal planks from barb outpost to do beginner mahogany homes, earning you carpenter points to buy supply crates that have a 1/6 chance of having the oak planks you need to build the tool store 5.
A side benefit of this is you will probably be doing enough to get WT crates as well, without doing it the standard way which kinda vibes better with the account.
just get to raids and he can get all raids tools for free if he scout a raid with fs or fs start

yeah the plan was to make steel bars for mahogany homes and do this for the oak plank reward. I was going to get the iron/coal from tokkul shops in mor ul rek after fire cape, use the fountain of rune for 0 smithing/mage xp on super heat spell (weirdly enough have tested this and it works). Task only area in brimhaven is super high req to get into I think

15:15 personally I think you should be able to un-note your items from Phials. You're not gaining any items by doing it you are just converting them. You could do that at a bank for free. I think the same thing should be okay with butlers because you're not really gaining anything new if anything you are losing gp.
A paper saying you have 100 sharks in your possession is not the same as 100 sharks, i dont see how these items can be the same. Yea the bank note represents sharks, but its not a shark, you cant eat it

I can understand your pov in the form of the butler, as he is actually leaving your house while he goes to the bank, where as phials just handd you the items straight away. I agree. Though I’m sure there are people who will make the argument that noted items and un-noted items are different.
However I think the thing here to consider is that with the construction guy he is not paying for an item, but for a service. Using him to un note an item, to me is the same as paying for a charter ship.
As long as the item you are un noting was obtained though legitimate means, there is no reason he shouldn’t be able to use the service.
@@failproductionsdk it's not really a "new" item, he had already obtained the item and would just be paying GP for Phials to convert it into a usable state. either way it'd be wasting extra time not really doing any gameplay just because of some technicality even though he already got the item fair and square.

For the maze randoms you can search the same chest over and over to get the loot after the chest resets and even if your inventory fills up it will get put into your bank, dont think it gives xp. Not sure how worth it would be but it should be a decent source of arrows. The wiki has a little section on this too. Love the series keep it up!

Like many people I just watch the content uploaded by multiple creators when it suits me, usually on an evening to unwind. I live vicariously when watching hours of effort condensed into short clips. It makes me feel still connected to a game that I grew up playing, now that I’m an adult and have to work to survive.
However, I wanted to take a moment to comment on this video just to say that I have always enjoyed and particularly look forward to your uploads. I enjoy the story / journey you’ve been on and even though I don’t know you on a personal level, I feel like you’re probably a really decent person, with a good set of morals and a laid back sense of humour - it really comes across in your videos.
In a game where everything has already been done, re-done and re-imagined, you have somehow managed to create an intriguing and new(albeit almost masochistic) way to play the game.

For transportation, you can also use the classic threaten shantay at the pass and refuse to pay bail, which sends you to port sarim.
Lost City unlocks the ability to use dragon longswords which you can get from elite clues (if you can ever finish one)

I don’t know if the area is restricted behind a quest or something and Im too lazy to check but Ice Trolls north of Jatizso drop noted balls of wool. There are warrior npcs there that attack the ice trolls too. If im not mistaken, i think you can land atleast a 0 and still have their drops count for you as long as the warrior npcs finish off the kill for you. Meaning you wont be gaining xp from kills that npc kill for you as long as you landed a 0. Someone feel free to correct me lol

Okay I’ve stepped out of my laziness and I don’t think it works. I could have sworn i was getting drops when hitting atleast a 0 back when I was farming trolls. I think you have to land atleast a 1, obv meaning gaining xp, for the drops to appear for you when the NPCs finish the kill.

What about the summoned units from the Arceuus spellbook? You don't get XP from a summon killing something, and you should be able to unlock that spellbook in the library (+ ez runecrafting xp if you need it). Imps only have 8hp and drop balls of wool, so it's an easy kill with the weak ass summons. Phenomenal videos Rendi!
Hmm, casting the spell gives XP, doesn't it? It's an interesting edge case, where gaining XP is required, but is not directly tied to the kill. One could argue that it's no different than picking up an item spawn behind an agility shortcut or a locked door.

peaches are untradeable, you can unlock bones to peaches in mage training arena and use those for food. they heal 8hp

The alchemy room in MTA might be a stumbling block since you're alching for the GP you need to turn in-though it's possible the gold is an untradeable version rather than normal gold you can't trade within the area, I'm not sure.
If you ever need to do smithing, the water wheels at motherload mining give good xp(for what you can do)

hm, I just had a thought. there are npcs in the game with hilariously decreased combat xp rates. I wonder how often it would occur that you could kill one without gaining any xp drops. if fairy rings is ever a thing you can do, the enchanted valley might be a good place to look for this, or maybe the abyssal area. just an idea, there may be potential in there to get some mob drops via technicality
Also abby spectres could be used to lower strength to guarantee a low hit.

The problem with this is that it isn't actually that the NPCs are giving no XP. They are still providing an XP amount that is logged to your account, but you will only get an XP drop when this rolls over to a whole number. I'm not sure exactly how this works in OSRS, but in RS3 while you are logged in, the game is capable of storing XP values up to the third decimal, i.e. 0.001 but on relog only one decimal will be preserved. For example, if you gain 0.005 XP 111 times and log out, you will have 0.555 XP trimmed to 0.5 XP on relog without ever receiving an XP drop. If you do the same action 100 more times after relog, you will finally get an XP drop of 1 as it rolls over to 1.000.
Given that this adds to a permanent total sum of XP if it is accrued into a large enough sum, it feels disingenuous to say that no XP is exchanged, even if that amount were to later be truncated away.

I had a thought while I was watching, and I hope it can help some. The skull sceptre from stronghold of security is untradeable, and the pieces that make it up are as well. You can charge the sceptre with the spares of the pieces you use to make it, so it'd be a decent teleport option to barb village. With how hard travel can be, it seems like a good idea to at least check it out.

If you do the Daddy's homes miniquest in Varrock you get a box of construction supplies which is an UNTRADABLE. It gives you some steel bars, planks, nails and even some teletabs. Once again, this box you recieve as a reward for the miniquest is an UNTRADABLE item. I dunno if because it still gives you tradables that you won't use it, I thought it might be worth noting for later gear you need to obtain

Legit clue farming tip I learned from RakineX, a desert locked ironman, for your next clue grind. He did this for easy clues to get his staff of air.
If your clue gets to a step that you cannot do, just keep it. Say you've finished 2 steps from a medium clue and you can't complete the third step, keep the clue and go back to guards or whatever that drops med clues. Drop the clue and pick it back up (so it doesn't despawn) in between guard kills so you have a chance to get a new clue scroll drop since you can still get them as long as you don't have the same level clue in your bank or invy. As long as the old clue has not despawned, the new clue drop will actually keep the same amount of steps completed as the old one so if you can complete the step on the new clue, it would count as the 3rd step and not the first. Hopefully this still works .
I've always done this, I have no idea why other snowflakes never do. I did find that if you do get a new clue, do not check steps cause that resets it. It's been a few years so im not sure if it still works
Keep an eye out for the poison dynamite update that may be coming out. The devs chatted about it in a recent blog. Basically you need dynamite + nightshade to make. (Dynamite is made with untradeables except a pot & salt petre which can be collected from supply crates in WT). Cave nightshade can be obtained during watchtower quest, but not sure if you can get all the items for that. The Dynamite can poison enemies but not grant xp.
But I think they said it grants firemaking xp for lighting it. So it would be essentially the same as an enemy dying to poison the normal way.
currently studying law, and per the terms of your own conditions; i.e., the transfer of gp and/or xp for tradable items, you can in fact keep the gp from pest control as its not the product of an action resulting in xp.
It’s not a bi product like birds nests, it’s a tradeable reward from a mini game that requires xp gain, same thing with fish from fishing trawler

I think you're wrong about the nail spawn. For a quest in kourend, the one south of the farming guild I believe, there's a nail spawn that gives 10 nails per collect and it's from a box I believe. You could very easily stock up on thousands of nails without hopping worlds.
just checked it, it seems to be a one-time pickup of 20 iron nails from the workbench in the shed. Although, the house nearby has a shelf with unlimited red and yellow dye, and there's a needle, thread, and another unlimited flour barrels upstairs.

If its possible for you to get ava's accumulator, it will pick up random steel items, including nails. You could wear that around while doing other things to passively acquire steels bars/nails slowly

@@Luckysquirrel1256 A mithril axe can be obtained if it is xp drops that it is based on. Tree spirits (requires fairy rings) have -97.5% xp boost, meaning you get basically 0 xp and it doesn't give an xp drop. The issue is actually the holy symbol.

I don’t think you should have to drop the coins from pest control. You aren’t acquiring it from the xp gains you are acquiring it for keeping the void knight safe which takes strategy and skill. Killing the spinners and closing the gates etc

The actual action of depositing the pay-dirt doesn’t give the exp and the action of withdrawing doesn’t give exp either. The exp drop just happens in the middle when you’re doing zero actions. So maybe it could be an exception?

Coal from Motherlode mine doesn't give XP from depositing the paydirt. Only mining the pay dirt gives XP for the mined coal. Any ore HIGHER than coal gives XP when depositing, but it seems valid to keep coal!
Update: you can use Christmas crackers on fellow group ironmen I suggest you could theoretically make 5 alt accounts in a group ironman with yourself and only yourself and then try for 10 chances at silk come Christmas and each year following... of course that's some major dedication. 🙄

Not sure if this helps but you can buid a tool store in your house and you can get all kinds of tools and farming equipment, moulds and all that but i'm not sure if it exactly follows the rules as you are trading xp for the house item - probably fine technically thinking about it

I don't believe you can actually do nature spirit, so fairy tale will still be impossible. The problemed item is the silver sickle, it's tradable with no spawns. Making it gives exp.
I was thinking the same thing, I am also curious if you can get armor or weapons inside the entrana dungeon as caskets on entrana are unable to give either while on the island.
