I think "Send in the Goats" maybe my new favourite line in cinema.
MrJohnycomelately21 "Send in the goats" is the highlight during an ISIS-orgy.
Lord Winkler Don't detract from the Glory of Dains men and their magnificent Cavalry charge!
BARUK KHAZAD KHAZAD AI MENU
legolas should come out. he is the GOAT
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Do you know what "Behind the scenes" means?
This also isn't a deleted scene LOL
@@PeteyVon this is deleted scene i download the full movie and i not see that elves and dwarves really fight
@@meleecroak2827 Theres no deleted scenes in this clip, all that is in the Extended Edition. Its the same with lotr you have a few different versions of that alsow.
@@cupek81 This was most certainly cut from the theatrical release. That makes it a deleted scene lmao
These 3 scenes aren't in any non-extended cut of the film.
@@PeteyVon The Extended Edition is a Director's Cut. Not a theatrical release. This was not in the original release. It was cut.
That's the literal definition of a deleted scene.
Cut content that is reedited in for a DC is still cut content because it wasn't in the theatrical release and will not be in *any* non-extended edition cut of the film.
This footage was cut to repackage into the EE to bait people into buying a new cut of something they saw previously.
One of the literal biggest complaints about The Hobbit trilogy was them cutting massive plotpoints or fun scenes out in the first place. The Ride to Ravenhill being one of them.
Dwarven engineering. You can't beat it haha.
right :O
innovation at its finest...gonna love the dwarves rather than elf...
+Andrei Dela Cruz Yea the elves are more artistic but their craftsmanship (refined, detailed not general craftsmanship) and magic are superior. However Dwarven engineering is unrivaled.
If the elves and dwarfs got along and had and alliance theyed be unrivaled in power
There must be balance in the force,in all ring..,things
"How do you like that? Eh? The old Twirly whirlys, you buggers!"
Love that scene so much haha
twiddly widdlys
That taunt was so successful he ordered his army to do exactly what didn't work just a minute ago 🤣
@@jonathantkyong8157 exactly!!
Billy Connolly
I love how both the dwarves and elves are just so excited to come to grips with each other. “This is a grudge match and NO ONE is stopping us.”
It really gives the scene of Elves and Dwarves cooperating much more depth and weight
3:13 "AIM FOR HIS JAM-BAGS!!!"
"HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY JAM BAGS!"
Funnest line in the whole movie
wtf is jam bags - balls?
it's slang for "balls" but it turned out it was a script error but they decided to keep it in because it was so funny
^yes. When I watched the behind the scenes bloopers and the actors talked about this, I was crying from laughing so hard. I thought that it was brilliant.
blackonix13 same!
You could kind of see Kili smiling a bit when he said that
Despite the missleading title of this video I must say that I left extremely impressed seeing those arrowblockers … never seen such masterpiece
I love how he calls thrandwil a pointy eared princess 😂😂😂
Dwarves form a solid shield wall to absorb the orcs' charge. Elves then jump over shield wall, rendering it pointless.
Yup they most likely still have full quiver but they switch to sword and jump over the shield wall, doing what they do worst that is being in melee and getting in front of full plated hardcore melee troops with pikes
Wasn't pointless. The Dwarves would have been runover. The shield exists as long as all hold strong which is seldom likely. And the pressure would have to be released eventually. The elves did the right thing in a wrong and stupid way.
The elves fight differently. Legolas, Thranduil all have sharp, swift fluid movements. Not really the army based brawler type the dwarves excel at.
The elves could have performed better by positioning themselves on high areas in the city or on Erebor while the melee ones could go support the dwarves
Funny thing. An army charging in full armour is like a giant football team running forward. If the first guy hits something and stops, the second guy runs into him and rams him forward. Have you ever seen someone get tackled mid-air? They get thrown because they can't anchor themselves. So if an if three lines of elves jump into an charging orc army, they would be trampled or thrown backwards into the waiting wall of spears.
@@royharkov but doesnt jumping out in front of the shield wall defeat the entire purpose of it? And plus they immediately break it a few seconds later?
@@ieat10kittens94 yeah I said that it was stupid and better means were available. Just have the goats flank their sides.
Most mythical stories don't show elves as brawlers of pure strength.
why would someone delete such wonderful scenes
Its not deleted, its just the extended version
Because it isn't in the book and completely changes the nature of the whole battle and even more it even changes the nature of Elf Dwarf relations.
@@harrybuttery2447 It also changes the nature of the race of dwarfs itself, since dwarfs dont like to ride any kind of animal (except ponies in some situations, but nothing similar to cavalry) and. Besides, in the books the red-beard leader is one of the most brilliant dwarfs of the history, not brute and agressive (starts offensive) as its shown. However, I dont think the rest of the movie is more books-accurate than this scenes so.
@@harrybuttery2447 not really race relations between elf and dwarves went bad soon as the elves fail to reinforce dwarves and left erebor to burn in first place.
@@harrybuttery2447 These films completely obliterate the book anyway, so I don’t think it would’ve mattered too much.
Elf king: oh, the dwarves blocked our arrows with super cool flying shield.. FIRE AGAIN!
*elf princess
Uhh his name is THRANDUIL
I guess he didn't expect them having a second load ready or to recharge those so fast
@@oscarbautista4156 maybe they arent the same ones. or maybe they can carry more than one, like the ballista on the chariot.
“Pointy eared princess” I wish they kept that line in because Thranduil deserves to be mocked, just look at that pissed look on his face🤣
Soft Elves vs battle hardened Dwarfs!
lol
"how do you like that? The old twirly whirlys, you buggers!"
LOL
I don’t know, man, the elves can be pretty vicious...
@@veermudambi5795 aye as dumb as jumping over the dwarf shield wall was, apparently in the book it mentions that the elves charged the orcs first because they just hate orcs so dang much. 'a Cold and bitter hatred' I think it was, their weapons 'gleamed with the lethal fury of those who wielded them'(?)
@ Anyone else in middle earth:
Aloofness, maybe contempt.
An orc nearby who is still breathing:
**.** REAL SHIT
Never a dull moment when your a dwarf!
damn dwarves are really good in large battle formation not to mention each of their warrior are strong than normal men and elves since they are masons and miners
dwarves are stocky creatures, they may be short but they make up for it with raw strength and sturdiness plus they're very good engineers and forgesmiths, they got the makings of an elite and powerful race, they don't need magic to solve a problem a good hammer can fix or high walls to keep them safe when they have entire mountains as fortresses, attacking a dwarf hold is suicide (unless you're a dragon)...all in all the dwarves are one helluva race
warbossgrotsmasha23
Bullshit Dwarfs are the weakest race in Tolkeins Universe. Plus Short people are weak.
@@BiggusDickus. lmao, we are talking about dwarfs, not short people.
@@BiggusDickus. and dwarfs are one of the mightiest races in Tolkiens Universe.
@@warbossgrotsmasha23 so stop talking about something you don't know nothing about Banana Pieceofshit
"ya pointy eared princess!"
when I first saw thranduil in the cinema I was like: "another great elven queen? gr8!" but then I realized... those eyebrows... aren't... umm.. yeAH those eyebrows are weird
I watched a video, Lee Pace pleaded with the makeup artist not to shaved off or dye his brows.
Elves, discovering the very notion of "technological progress" and not liking it. Like, at all.
3:23 *"HANG ON LADS IM COMIN"*
Is IT just me or is elvish langugage so fucking cool ?
Ohodosks Lfodlsla its kenya and yes you can learn it. I wrote some cheats in elvish in my last year of highschool xd
dwarfen language is much cooler imo "Baruk khazad! Khazad ai-menu!"
@@Genesis23OPB*clanks helm to helm* Ilv zirundr kin! * to arms kin!*
Not as brilliantly funny or insulting as Dwarvish. “Take that, ye pointy-eared princess” (they must have heard that in Rivendell and Lórien - and squirmed). And did Monty Python never hear about these Goats?
(Khuzul) Dwarvish language is left pretty much incomplete by Tolkien because they only said talked in it during battle or among us themselves and we are not Sons of Durin.
Dat dwarf defense attacking spear though...no chance for the elves. Should've left that in the main version man.
I thought they did
It's such a dumb scene. Literally just change how fast you shoot and what angle you're shooting at and the balistae won't be able to keep up.
@@samiezzi6143 Not like they had more than a few seconds to adapt. They had time for two volleys and no way to tell if the dwarves had more catapults or not.
@@samiezzi6143 the twirly wirlys can strike the arrows along any time since their paths will always cross, the dwarves just need to adjust their launch timing and dont even need to change trajectory to intercept the elves arrows
everything about it is unrealistic anyway
0:15 _ "You think I give a dead dog for your threat, you pointy ear princess!?"_
Best roast
"Ya heär that lads?! We're ön! Let's give thesë bastards a göod hämmering!" Yänad Durinul !!! :D
Dwarf army:Haaiiilll!!!!!!!!!!
Yanad Durinul!=Sons of Durin!
Both sides are like “fuck yeah!” when the fight is on and seem so disappointed when the orcs show up.
Yânad* Durinul
0:23 epic
Impossible not love a dwarf, they're funny even in the worst of situations 🙌🏻💥
Iron Hills Dwarves ftw!
All these bonus and deleted scenes are all SO GOOD, I need to watch the movie with all of them.
They just added the extended version of battle of the 5 armies in HBO a few days ago so you can now. Been waiting patiently forever for that to hit lol
The dwarves of the Iron Hills were Middle Earth's strongest military power at this point in time!
That's so ridiculous, it's perfect.
the ol twirly wirlys
I'd so love to have these movies in an uncut version
The only thing I've noticed in the battle scene was why do the numbers of both dwarf and the elves immediately reduced into half upon battling the orcs?
This isnt deleted scene, it is in the extended version.
i didnt realize how small the dwarf army was compared to the elves. they said 500 dwarves, damn i didnt know dwarves were so badass
Lem0nsquid ehmm because they are dwarves? dude the built moria and erebor isn't it badass enough? lol
on screen they used more than 500.
OMG check out Fili just after 0:03, he just sticks out and shakes his tongue! Haa brilliant!
Lol im bussy looking at the chaos in the background 2:12
I get you it's so cool to watch these kind of war films look at that is a pure Massacre of spear war marching Armies behind General Iron foot just how many dwarf Armies does they got!?! It's unlimited.....
That was effin brilliant! Gotta love the nonchalant way the drarves do battle!
I love how they did two different battle scenes into two different version in this movie
Never forget these memories
Great inside the theatre room scenes you've got there
Nothing more beautiful in the sound of a dwarf in battle and join himself and having the time of his life
WHY WOULD THEY DELETE SOMETHING AS AWESOME AS THIS 😤😤😤
Thranduil:Legolas we need to talk
Legolas:Ok...?
Thranduil:Ok I’m going to ask you a question and I want you to be honest with me.
Legolas:...
Thranduil:Do I look like a pointy eared princess?
Legolas:pfft- no.....😅
1:24 dat face lol
That was awesome!! Never seen these deleted scenes till now!!
I love dains comments about elves
This is an extended cut, not a behind the scenes or deleted scene...
They have Very well trained goats, im impressed that even in front of camera the goats stay calm.
too bad that was cut from the originals, great stuff
omg that was AMAZING
2:44 Rare footage of medieval army shooting automatic anti-aircraft cannon, colorized.
Good footage, thanks for posting!
that is utter perfection
They need to fix the mass bug for chariots. Too OP.
This is the best "behind the scenes" ever seen.
Their DM is very very lenient with the rules. I like it.
Notice how the Elf formations are back to normal seconds after they had been shot with giant arrows? What a lazy error.
yes, of course haha
Chad Iron Hill Dwarfs vs Virgin Silvan Elves
I love his voice when he speaks elvish.
WHY in earth they will delete such an amazing scene ?
Ahmed Al-Karbi cause elves and dwarves got to be awesome against the orcs
They are not deleted. Its the extended version
They deleted so many golden scenes from the movie when they shouldn't have people who want to watch these movies go into them thinking these will be several hours, and they'll sit there and watch the entire movie with every single one of these scenes included in the theatrical release.
Girls when we have wrestling in pe: go easy on me.
Me:
Crazy guyzzz ....they are fighting in such a way that they are playing😂😂
:) Excellent, That's alot of excitement for the right reasons that never made it into the movie cut.
Dwarves are the coolest!
Agreed
usings trolls to troll trolls is a different level of trolling
in extended version its full ,but yeah its 3 scenes : with Thranduil 2 scenes but short, and with Gandalf 1 scene (when he told Thranduil about his son) I prefer extended version :)
This is an extended scene, not some "behind the scenes" stuff, or an "deleted scene".
I didn't know u could be badass riding a goat
Im lost for words i didnt exect them to throw rotating chains to counter the arrows. That was epic
Gotta love them twirly whirleys.
The elves and dwarves are very bright
Killi looks like a boss sharpening his sword on the wheel.
Sharpening? It not sharps, it destroys a sword.
@@berserkr6499 I know, but in this fantasy realm it does. Don’t worry, I know sword etiquette 😉
These movies seem to take themselves much less seriously than the Lord of the Rings and once I got over that I enjoyed them a lot more.
Bro, LOTR is something else... A piece of art, is never gona get old, because it has a unique filming style and this film my friend is just another "Titan Fury"... Dont get me wrong i like this movie too, i enjoy it, but cant be compared at any point or circustance...
@@ManoleitorArg I didn’t mean I like it more than LOTR, sorry for the confusion. I meant I use to dislike the Hobbit trilogy because it was a disappointment in my eyes. However, I have since started to enjoy them albeit to a smaller degree than LOTR.
Amazing video loved it 💓 I love the Dwarfs to much
Why did they cut these parts their the best parts literally
These scenes are so cool
Outrageous.
I feel thats John DiMaggio doing his Scotsman voice from Samurai Jack as the Dwarven Commander in the beginning of the video...cuz of his witty remarks xD
Damn I haven't watched this, this arrow repelling siege weapon is amazing
2:12 I love how chilling he avoids to be killed with the thing on the wheel... lol dwarfs are to mess up and funny ahahah...
0:53 Multiplexing....yeah, you're doing it right.
I was waiting for a deleted scene I never saw one
amazing film
Still waiting on the behind the scenes my guy
I didn’t see this in movie
I missed this scene
Wuooo! Se me erizó la piel, muy épico!!!
Uohh, the trash talk is so Awesome.
Love from my heart
Why didn't they add this I love this
It’s in the extended edition
thranduil being arrogant, bringing his whole army and intimidating dwarves only to find out that they are going to a real war. so much elves lives lost
I love the twirly whirlys
It's faster to reload arrows than bolt cutters. Reload then fire again.
Good news, these scenes are in the extended edition
I'm still waiting for behind the scenes 🙂🙂
It’s actually apart of the extended edition
why i didn't see this ?!! is damn good
I remember seeing this in the cinema but not in my blu-ray version
I'm impressed how many people died behind the scenes
This version is much better than the original one
They cut that, it was awesome
this could be one of those theme park 3D rides
Its so random what what umpactful scenes they left out from the hobbit saga and lotr. Epic gamechanging scenes like thse ones, which btw arent in the movie on Netflix. Thank god I have seen these before..
