@@woldebazizew9385 Anytime!
The type of musical instrument Warren Beatty plays is a soprano saxophone and the composition he is often heard practicing is an old Italian ballad called "Ciribiribin".
Awesome...thanks for the info!
I live in a country where it gets very hot dry, will it crack over time. I have a few drops rain in my workshop and the roof needs doing.
This stuff will work or anything similar. I use the webbing tape in case you need to apply a thick layer & that keeps the mastic from cracking out in the hot sun. How did your project go?
Does it harden after you lay it down
It will harden to a certain extent but if you are installing in the heat of summer then the top of it will skin over but make sure not to walk on it or you could sink in. It will be find & then in the winter it will harden up more the colder it gets outside. Stuff works pretty good. I have more videos of this particular project...just go to my main UA-cam channel page then click on playlists then scroll down to roof repair or roof & you should find them. Good luck with your repair & let me know if you have any other questions...
What is that yellow one called?
That's yellow stuff is a webbing cloth that you can use if your patch is kind of thick. You can put a thin layer of roof patch on first then put a layer of the webbing cloth then another thin layer on there & over time when the roof patch dries then it helps prevent the roof patch from cracking. I have more videos of this roof patch. Go to my main UA-cam channel page then click on playlists then scroll down to roof patch or something like that & you will find all the videos I made for this roof patch. Try it!

Will this process and product selection work on a rubber roof?
Hmmm not sure about a rubber roof & you might need to use a proper roof patch for rubber roofs & they have all kinds of different products at most local hardware stores. What did you end up using?
@@VideoJoeKnows we had to have a roofer come out... My question was concerning a commercial application anyway, just wanted to save a little bit of money DIY.
@@hnremak Great job for doing what you thought was the right thing to do to get the roof repaired! It still took effort & you tried to spend some time to see if you could do it yourself so nice going for that for sure. I have 3950 videos on my channel that could save you money around the house on DIY repairs & projects so I wanted to let you know. Just go to my main UA-cam channel page then click on playlists & scroll down to see all the things you could be saving on. Take care!
Hey if I can do it, YOU can do it!
You may be able to go a few years depending on how deep it is. Since I did not have to make it too deep plus adding the mesh this patch should last many years. However if you have to make a deep patch & if you don't use mesh then your patch could create cracks in the hot summer which may have to be recoated so you don't get a leak at one of the hair line cracks. A patch is a patch is a patch. You ever heard of that before? I would check any patch you do maybe once before each winter let's say or use your judgement on it. Good luck & thanks for your message! Joe :0
You're welcome!
I would say if you put wet patch on then whatever you're using for your final seal you should be good. If you put wet patch again over your finish sealer you might not need to do that. Look at the Henry's wet patch as a "patching" material. Look at the store for other Henry products too as they might have something else you can use for further applications if need be. I generally use Henry's wet patch material as a long patch material only knowing that at some point it will fail since they call it a patch. Happy patching.... Joe :0
Kind of rubbery with a coating over it that will skin over....hey kind of like rubber! lol
What is the name of the yellow color paper called? It is available in Home Depot?
Fiberglass mesh. And yes, or at least at my local H D has it.
Yes & it's good to put the mesh in depending on how deep you are making your patch repair. It will help prevent the patch material from cracking in the future.
hi joe! what is the yellow paper is? and what is that for?
That yellow stuff was a webbing tape that you could put in between to make the material not crack depending on how thick you apply the roof patch. It makes it stronger. Hi back by the way & thanks for stopping by!
Sir, can you please name the compound you applied????
Henry wet patch
Yes Henry's wet patch.....If your local hardware store does not have it then they probably have something similar. Ask them next time. Thanks for stopping by!
I remember heaven can wait, yes indeed was a good movie. It came out in 1978 as I remembered.
+Reverend Tacos Guidos Mananeros Indeed it is
+jason75 Actually its 1943 not the 50s
+Reverend Tacos Guidos Mananeros Wow I didn't know there was an earlier version!
+jason75 Wow didn't know they had an earlier version of that movie!
+VideoJoeKnows Well the earlier version was good, not as good as the remake.
LOL at 1:28... made my day!
Ha! I had to watch it again to see what you meant! I loved that movie! Thanks for stopping by. The patch is still holding too!
Bro come on... what inside the bucket, what is that yellow thing you cover up??? Help me out ere

The way he handles that scraper ...... the finish ... sigh !!! But WTF is the black gumbo he’s using ???
That black gumbo is called Henry's wet patch & is designed for roof patches like this, even in the rain. I have more videos I did of this entire roof patch project. Just go to my main UA-cam channel page then click on playlists then scroll down to roof patch or you will find it somewhere. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner!
Roof cement (mastic) overkill
I made this repair years ago & as far as I'm aware it's still holding. I didn't want to just apply one small thin layer. That's why I applied one layer then put the webbing cloth in there then some more material over that for a stronger repair. Try it for next time!
What is that black thing....
i think it is tar road making mixture
Roof tar mastic from Henry's designed for roof patches....
Get out of there....OMG....!
LMAO....I made these videos for the beginner to show that if I could do it then anyone could....that's who this video was for. Thanks for stopping by & good luck with your roof patch. I have more of this repair if you want to see more. Just go to my main UA-cam channel then click on playlists & scroll down to roof. Take care...
