My issue with players like Misa, Parekh, and Sennecke is that they weren’t even invited to Team Canada’s selection camp. Parekh and Sennecke were late invites due to a couple of injuries but Hockey Canada had already made up their minds regarding those 2 players.
It is not the hockey it is who is picking the team and coaches. The only game they played good was against Finland the rest not so good. I have never seen a coach cancelling pratice in a short tournament before and then saying the players were too tired to practice. Instead of picking the best players they seem to want to pick role players. IMO Carter George was the best player on Team Canada. I hope they change how they are picking the players in the future. There were too many not living up to their billing and not going to mention any names. As for the trade deadline I hope Kitchener just stands pat. I think they already have a great group of players and have a lot of chemistry. BTW I heard you mentioned it snowed during the game on Friday so I quick looked out my window and no snow at all haha.
Carter George was definitely the best player. And, yes, opting not to practice was a curious decision. But for some reason these players self-destructed. Their lack of discipline was a huge factor in the disappointment.
This Spirit fan has always loved the Guelph Storm color scheme.

nice to see the hounds logo get some love. i'm TOTALLY biased but it is a classic logo.
42:49 They've allowed one goal less than London, and two less than Barrie. "By far"?

We’d love to hear some recommendations regarding logo options here in sarnia …
