The trade off for a more secure center cockpit is a bit smaller one.. Lots of interior room, and the one, bigger head design is smart..
I understand this new hull shape enables a same size cockpit than their 44 and bigger than the 48!
Love HR design, quality and craftsmanship but they’re wildly overpriced.
HR are one of the rare sailboat makers who never went bust, so don't think a lot of people agree with the overpriced comment. especially the "wildly" part. you want design, quality and craftsmanship? that has its price unfortunately. don't get me wrong, I don't have the money to buy this boat. but if I did I wouldn't think twice about it. it is expensive, but not overpriced.
