I’m a Leeds fan and although us and Manchester United are rivals, I will drop my sword and pay respects to those killed at Munich. Nobody should be killed at such a young age.
    RIP to the Busby Babes.

How different would World football be had the Disaster not occurred. England would have won the 1958 World Cup for starters.

Had that terrible disaster never happened I can imagine that The Treble would have been achieved by Harry Gregg, Bill Foulkes, Roger Byrne (Captain), Eddie Colman, Mark Jones, Duncan Edwards, Johnny Berry/ Kenny Morgans, Liam Whelan/ Bobby Charlton, Tommy Taylor, Dennis Viollet and Albert Scanlon/ David Pegg some 38-41 years before it was in 1999

1:42 Not an "accident". This kind of thing was permitted in those days.

Liverpool fans are the same types to find Heysel to be hilarious so I'm not surprised

Jesus they don’t look like kids! They must of all been in the 30s and the press just invented the busby babes ! They were all really old!

You need to do some research mate. The average of that Man utd squad was 21 and 22. "They were all really old"🤡. Mate it was the 50s, players weren't obsessed with beauty and also considering the time there wasn't much. Receding hairline, broken teeth were considered normal for a man in his mid 20s.

Duncan Edwards was 21. That’s very young.

What do you expect young men to look like in them days? A bunch of divvies with fake tans, earrings and a manbag??? oh no that's just 2023, proper lads back in them days

The "Busb Babes" tag was coined in about 1953.
