Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. As various authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore -- and the peaceful island community is turned upside down in more ways than anyone can handle. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl's parents. The cast also includes Tilda Swinton, Jason Schwartzman, and Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward as the boy and girl. - Фільми й анімація
I wish these books actually existed, and that I had read them growing up.
We all do. I'd read them now.
It took all the joy out of me realizing those books don’t exist
I just now had the realization that when you piece all of the stories together; you have the story of "Moonrise Kingdom" with a few slight variations.
could you go into more detail on that?
i want audio books by her
Hey, maybe Kara Hayward will read real audiobooks, if she hasn't done so already.
The Return of Auntie Lorraine and The Girl Form Jupiter would be right up my alley at that age
"The Disappearance of the 6th Grade" looks like it could've been an actual book. The cover art looks like something you might see by Shel Silverstein, and the concept seems something close to that of "Middle School; The Worst Years of My Life," or the "Dork Diaries," or "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series.
Can these be real books? It's almost been six years
"hide this in your socks, and be ready at midnight."
How fantastic is that. I want to read all those books!
i want those books!
I saw Moonrise Kingdom twice, first time in London a few weeks ago and now in my hometown, Porto, Portugal. I may see it again because it's still on. I loved it. I wish I had seen it when I was 13 :)
I really like her voice, she should read some actual audiobooks
It's from the soundtrack, but it's actually Alexandre Desplat's score. The song's called "The Heroic Weather-Conditions of the Universe, Part 1: A Veiled Mist."
This is sublime.
Ken reference? (7 years too early)
Nice to see Isaac Clarke having a new profession as a sci-fi writer after surviving the Dead Space games
Inject this into my veins, and somebody siphon these books out of Wes's mind and spill them onto pages so I can pay money for them
I saw this movie on an airplane and fell in love
This is wonderful. One of my favorite movies.
Oh, I do wish they were real! They seem just like the sort of books I read in high school―when I isolated myself from everyone and buried my face in their pages
I wish these books were real.
utterly brilliant
It was beautiful.
this is just awesome!
why dont these books exist?
One of the best 4 mins of my life
LOVE THIS SO MUCH
И фильм отличный! С удовольствием посмотрел.
BEST MOVIE EVER
I'm going to read all these for no other reason than they're in this movie
Hate to break it to you but they're all made up
theyre not real
I had to drive over 30 miles to see it. Was worth it, though.
Bless your ambition!
beautiful
wouldn't it be wonderful if authors finished the books?
I saw it in Glasgow at the Grosvenor.
Does anyone know if there’s a book that really exists similar to “the Francine odysseys”?
Maybe the short story Boy in Darkness from the Gormenghast series?
Why can't all trailers be like this?
Well read...
♥
im in love
I had like it too much. Can i get the subtitles to translate it in spanish?
The Girl From Jupiter by Isaac Clarke? Is Wes Anderson making Dead Space references now?
Why is Moonrise Kingdom not showing in My Country.
Is the music in the background on the movie soundtrack? I'm sure it's mark mothersbaugh, but anyone know the title of the selection? Thank you
This movie is playing nowhere near me!
Did he say, "Do you like twee?" Because I don't.
fuckin illuminati
