Drove a friend's MR-S at a trackday last year and I came back to the pits having an existential crisis, it's such a good platform. I'm on the lookout for a good Frogge now, I can't wait for my midship journey to begin 🗿🐸
I always think it's interesting the difference in the torque between the 2ZZ and 7AGE. 7A just makes more torque way earlier. Much more usable torque when racing. I feel like the VVTLi actually might hurt the engine rather than help in this case.
@@arcanevoid9199 Maybe but it's the same issue with Vtech engines. Their peak torque is too high up the RPM band which would be ok if your gearing was perfect but it rarely is.

vvtli doesnt hurt at all, its just the way the cams are sized from factory

Use loctite blue and lockwashers on exhaust flange. Its gonna rattle itself loose overtime.
it would just melt the loctite, and you can just use serrated nuts
