Noise complaints in Enfield good joke. The closest houses from where meets are held in Enfield are a mile down the road. They are held in industrial areas for a reason. No one goes to industrial estates such as these during these times as everything is shut and we leave before workers and delivery vans arrive. Love how they don't mention that the other day the reason the police were cracking down so much is because 1. A police officer run over a girls foot didn't even apologise then the officers car got attacked by a small minority of people there (which was wrong granted). 2. A drunk driver did a hand brake turn into a few people resulting in them being hospitalised. Just because we are okay with driving the way we do from time to time does not mean we are even slightly okay with drink driving. It is an awful offence and should be dealt with as such.
I live in Enfield and I recognised that tescos in one of the clips. I'm surprised that this is an issue and I didn't know about it myself. That tescos is far away from houses and is kind of in a industrial estate so hopefully it doesn't disturb people at home. Some nights I do hear some boy racers booting it and hearing their loud exhaust. Although these meets are away from houses some people still be foolish revving their loud cars late night in built up areas whilst travelling to the meet. I wouldn't want to think if they have consideration for other road users.
I live a few rows away from the A10 so I can hear it. If they want to be reckless that's up to them but I really wish they wouldn't race at high speed through the residential streets like they do, you can only get one car down our road because of cars parked either side and there is always children running around in between the cars. We get people racing up and down our street all through the day, most other roads have speed bumps but ours doesn't so its a target.
They need to do more like in America. They have drag strips which you can just go and use at your own risk. They have cars & coffee meets, they do loads to try stop racing happening on the streets! Loads of the race tracks in the UK are only open on select days, with very strict rules even on RWYB days. Not making excuses for recklessness but in the other hand: to all of the commenters saying “take it to the race track” or “can a afford a flash car but cant afford to take it to the track”... you need to realise that its not all about money at the end of the day... most track days have stupidly low noise limits that even STOCK/standard cars struggle to keep under and get black flagged/kicked of the track
So what, nothing is wrong with doing pulls on the motorway at 1AM, no one is getting hurt. If they were straight up racing in the middle of daytime traffic then its a problem. Why don't they focus on stopping knife crime and moped thieves
Give these guys a place to go. It can be anywhere they've got cars. Like hello any supermarket type of area will be fine they don't care if it is in the city or not.
Its the rented whips like that E63 that they need to watch out for. The people that actually own their cars drive fast yes, but at least they dont lob it at roundabouts and hit some family car and leg it.

I used to be involved in street racing. It has nothing to do with race tracks being expensive etc. Its all about the thrill of doing it on a public road. Having the police come after you is part of the thrill. There are no police at the race tracks. Also race tracks are controlled enviroments. People that street race dont like authority anyway. I know this because i used to be involved in it in another country. I still love the idea of it. But as i have grown older i dont feel the need to do it any longer

Let me just point a fact out here.. These passionate drivers who drive REAL cars such a modified tuned cars and done it all themselves. People who truly know whats under their bonnet. Then theres people who finance and lease new plate cars which are automatic which any panzy could drive and they think they know about cars lol. Please understand the difference.
I used to live in Enfield and there roads are decent for car enthusiast, now I’m in Islington and oh my every single road has monster speed bumps destroying my car, it’s impossible to have fun in a car here and it’s horrible even when your going 20mph the bumps still damaged your car there’s bumps every 2seconds you literally have to go 5mph over them, it’s an absolute joke
Where do street racers get the idea they've a right to endanger others and create a noise nuisance while pursuing their hobby on public streets in the middle of the night or at any other time?
Government literally salivating at the mouth for some more tax money and prison time for these guys. Freedom is a state of mind, it’s just everyone’s perception of it is different. You shouldn’t be penalised for a victimless crime.
Theft and murder are on daily basis in London but no one care about that but on other hand there are some people having fun with there own money on there own risk. Haw dare they.
This is absolutely disgusting.. and i am talking about the met. I have seen met Bully vans and their marked squad cars doing well over 30 in a 20 zone.. but the they wanna waste more money on speed cameras. Please fix your own officers before you correct others. More times people just want to enjoy their car to the fullest because that is there their passion. Thankyou
We need more street racing around the UK for what they did to North Weald airfield! They will never learn. There are literally 2 places now: Santa Pod and Elvington mile.
Well what else do they expect people to go to have fun!? An abandoned airport, and these "Street Racers" have said themselves they're only doing this at times when its more quiet and less populated.
Your city needs some legal roll racing venues/tracks. Here in Adelaide South Australia for approx 50 quid (your currency) you can go roll racing every 3 to 5 weeks. Best fun ever and its super safe and 100% legal).
I am 50 something. back in the 70s and 80s you could get your kicks on the motorways without fear of speed cams. Yes I know its wrong, but young men like to do this. The answer is to open drag strips and not charge the lads too much to use them. They can then get their kicks and adrenalin rushes competing against each other and will be off the roads.
It’s funny that they said that about Enfield there’s meets every week end there and as long as nobody complains the police just drive past of make sure nobody is doing stupid things

Us car enthusiasts can't stop our passion!
Go to a race track then... That's what race tracks are for, not the roads on London city centre.
@@haha-zq3ot omg that’s so cool!
YOBS - None are insured - I bet not one of them declared very significant modifications to their vehicles to their insurer = Un-insured. (They could not even afford the true insurance on a modified vehicle). Police need to prey on this - easy fines, easy prosecution & idiots taken off the road/cars crushed. Pay insurance for 'your passion'.
UK Gov: Shut down some of those race tracks and impose stupid rules on peoples cars at the others.
Also UK Gov: WhY Is eVeRyBoDy sTrEeT RaCiNg?????
Not making excuses for recklessness but in the other hand: to all of the commenters saying “take it to the race track” or “can a afford a flash car but cant afford to take it to the track”... you need to realise that its not all about money at the end of the day... most track days have stupidly low noise limits that even STOCK/standard cars struggle to keep under and get black flagged/kicked of the track
This country needs more racetracks and they should stay open longer too. Simple as
Build them a dual carriageway two round abouts and problem solved street racing is live keep
Add more speed cameras? Prevents speeding/racing?
MATE, IM ALREADY DRIVING BLIND BECAUSE IM FOCUSED ON MY CLOCKS MORE THAN THE ROAD.
Because it’s only “car enthusiasts” that speed...
This feels like a vice document
Gadarinco - It’s not that bad!
Simply put, keep racing.
Breaking news: people race cars! Not like this has been going on for over a century or anything.
It’s been happening for years n years these youngsters didn’t invent it get a grip
>spend 10k on modifying a car
>HURR DURR race tracks are TOO EXPENSIVE
pick one
Its the rented whips like that E63 that they need to watch out for. The people that actually own their cars drive fast yes, but at least they dont lob it at roundabouts and hit some family car and leg it.
Carmadnab how do you know its rented? Thats what all jealous people say. Do you know how much it would cost to rent a car like that. Bet you ain’t even got 5k in your bank. Its my pals whip and it ain’t rented
@@borndying8942 Lool sorry didnt know that but it aint expensive to rent these cars - about 400 a day. And please dont insult me for a mistake i assumed just like you did about my bank balance. I mean its not like my father owns a Rolls Royce Ghost by any chance(!)
@@313-Badr Why would I be jealous when my father owns a vehicle almost 5X the worth of that E63...
@@borndying8942 , Lol i own a 2011 Audi S3 worth £11,000
@@carmadnab because that's your fathers not yours lol
There is not a better feeling than spanking a cocky driver in a race
I used to be involved in street racing. It has nothing to do with race tracks being expensive etc. Its all about the thrill of doing it on a public road. Having the police come after you is part of the thrill. There are no police at the race tracks. Also race tracks are controlled enviroments. People that street race dont like authority anyway. I know this because i used to be involved in it in another country. I still love the idea of it. But as i have grown older i dont feel the need to do it any longer
So let them? They aren’t hurting anyone.
The bbc make everything people do is sooo bad😂😂
These type of stuffs are better then killing each other in London. We ain’t no thugs we just want to enjoy life with our love for cars. Give us more racetracks make them cheap for us then these things wouldn’t happen who agrees with me ?
Need for Speed: UK
Replace the crown vics with astra diesels and ovlovs
@@blathers_13 An Astra wouldn't catch a stock 30 year old golf lmao.
@@lukemmurphy795 add the power of "OOIIIIIII" in there and its a different story tho 😉
Oh no wait, they're still slow 😂
have you realised it’s the old coppas who don’t want us having fun? my car, my life, my consequences. you come on the track, your fault. at your own risk.
BBC made the best ad to start street racing
Let me just point a fact out here..
These passionate drivers who drive REAL cars such a modified tuned cars and done it all themselves. People who truly know whats under their bonnet.
Then theres people who finance and lease new plate cars which are automatic which any panzy could drive and they think they know about cars lol.
Please understand the difference.
The latter are 'mostly' Asians
I used to live in Enfield and there roads are decent for car enthusiast, now I’m in Islington and oh my every single road has monster speed bumps destroying my car, it’s impossible to have fun in a car here and it’s horrible even when your going 20mph the bumps still damaged your car there’s bumps every 2seconds you literally have to go 5mph over them, it’s an absolute joke
Where do street racers get the idea they've a right to endanger others and create a noise nuisance while pursuing their hobby on public streets in the middle of the night or at any other time?
And then call people who criticize them Karens or entitled, they're the entitled ones
Noise restrictions? Why? Might as well put 1000 mufflers on ever race car and f1 car while your at it cuse they are also "too loud""
Its a race track ffs who care how loud or quite your car is your there to race and thats it!
SPEED CAMERAS? COMICAL🙄🙄🙄They don’t capture dangerous or reckless driving! 😬😬😬 💀💀💀
Good graphics for the PS4
PS5
I just lost my license 3 days ago , street racing and running away from cops and getting stuck in a blocked street 😭😭
Haha you spazz serves you right , maybe think next before you decided to do something
Street racing=so much fun👍
Except a, the noise is super annoying and it's incredibly dangerous
had to be Enfield loool
Exactly. Rofl. 😂😂😂
®ioT them A10 runs 😂
I could happily fall asleep to the sound of a donutting c63
Big up boosted civics
I'm going to listen to the information in this video and I'm going to ignore it.
Street breathing: inside the secretive world - BBC London
Nothing more fun than honing down the motorway at night
Nearly 2021 and enfield police made the biggest mistake of sending out 800 cars at once loose on the road causing havoc, we are not the issue
Thankyou
I’ve come across them a number of times and yes they are very much in control of their cars ..
I live my life a quarter mile at a time
We need more street racing around the UK for what they did to North Weald airfield! They will never learn. There are literally 2 places now: Santa Pod and Elvington mile.
For drag racing?
So because someone is over the speed limit, they are not in control of their vehicle. Yeah ok 😂
I always say I don’t care when they do it on country roads late in the night but when they do it around houses it does annoy me
Why do racetracks have noise restrictions?
I cant wait to get my car and start doing some street racing! yay
to the fed that tries to catch us, catch up
Soon in the UK: Driving with passengers *Banned* and classed as illegal convoy
I am 50 something. back in the 70s and 80s you could get your kicks on the motorways without fear of speed cams. Yes I know its wrong, but young men like to do this. The answer is to open drag strips and not charge the lads too much to use them. They can then get their kicks and adrenalin rushes competing against each other and will be off the roads.
It’s funny that they said that about Enfield there’s meets every week end there and as long as nobody complains the police just drive past of make sure nobody is doing stupid things
Lock up the M&S carpark
LoooooL
At night I can hear them racing up and down the A10, and I live a mile away!!
You haven't heard the last of us, don't worry 😉
But Street Racing is a public event haha
It’s not speed that kills it’s the sudden stop if it that kills
Adding cameras wont really do a thing if you put on tinted plates.
Why not build specific drag strips for them and leave them be.
As a Car enthusiasts Doing Street Racing is fun but kinda too dangerous for the public roads
Street racing in Britain is just kids borrowing their dads corsa with a huge exhaust.
Drifting saved my life I slipped the rear tires on a round about in the rain on accident and lucky I knew how to drift or I would have crashed into the Ford dealership!
Great more speed camera for us non-racers. So now if we go 41 in 40mph area we get a £50 ticket. Thanks for penalising us too.
