I seen the poor man at the Galway Races as a young fella. I stood there transfixed at the sight of this man, until I got a clip on the ear from from my aunt, and was dragged away....God be good to them both, RIP +++, and God be with the days....Ireland was different back then....

Dan The Street Singer, kitted out to the hilt, no expense spared, even a 12 string electric guitar, he has even got wheels on the camper van that he pulls behind him. My advice to Dan is don't go to Galway City without your umbrella, it rains hard in that town from time to time, Good for you Dan The Street Singer Man

Basil, his real name, was a secondary school teacher. He was playing in bands from at least the 1960s. At school if a tune needed to be played he’d always get me to fetch that guitar and a small amp from his car - a hatchback/saloon with a bubble window sticking out, more room? My older brother played guitar; Basil figured I wouldn’t drop that Burns or run away with it : ) Basil Morahan, a great man, with a great sense of humour…RIP
