Stupid question: did you have the frying pan on a hot pad? I kept wondering if you were scorching your countertop and then also wondering if maybe the pan didn't really get that hot. You probably did use a hot pad and that was just a stupid question. Even well done, your meal still looked great and had to be full of flavor. Thank you, Doug.

I was long winded in commenting on your first UA-cam with the CE Air Fryer Lid so I’ll spare you repeating myself. I have to say, I thought the lid would be too deep for a frying pan. When I cooked my steak, seeing I was using the air fryer, I put mine up on a circular rack which is for my 8 quart Ninja Foodi but fits in my Caphalon Dutch Oven. That worked well. What do you think ? Better with or without a rack ? I’m going to use it to cook burgers later this week. This thing is COOL ! Literally, it’s HOT but regardless, I love it ! Thanks for all your recipes, efforts and compassion to do them !

I just ordered mine from QVC should arrive the 24th. I saw on Amazon they had this type of lid but a different brand and it cost $80 and I believe walmart if i recall, has same brand as Amazon but for like $119. Mine from QVC will be red, as my stand mixer, toaster are red.
