trying to pack in all the riding on vacation is super tough. so much to see, so little time.
Tell me about it...lol
Skinnies are my jam! Great adventure!
haha. Thanks!
You came to my home town!!!! It's a beautiful place for sure all year round
looks fun, so pretty up there too!
Always enjoy your vids cheers from Alberta
You guys look so exhausted 💤 ! Awesome video!👍
Lol. You can tell, huh? This was the last ride of our trip. We were pooped from riding for how many days straight. 😴😅
Your videos are always fun to watch. 👍I've been away for a while. Who are the couple are riding with? Antos, got hurt but was tough about it. What bike is the lady riding. It is a Liv, I know that much. And Cory, she's awesome! 😎😀
Thanks! Glad you're back! We're riding with my brother Anthony(aka Antos) and his wife Jashen. Jashen is riding a Liv Hail. I think it's a 2017 or '18.
That was cool guys… nice.👍👍👍👍🤟😊😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
The music makes these so enjoyable
I don't always add music, so that's good to know. Thanks. 🙂
@@dukeofmtb crazy question but I’m heading to Marquette for a week and I’ve never ridden the trails there. Where’s the best entrance to the trails?
@@hunterschoengart7539 Park here: maps.app.goo.gl/UU6vVFA7jhZb4prP6 then start with the trails across the road and up the gravel road. Down Dogger is a good first run. 👍 I also hear they have a chairlift for some of the trails there now. Also worth checking out.
Awesome. Been in Marquette the last 4 days....first time. These trails are insane. Almost popped on scary this evening and ended up elsewhere. So much fun. Keep the videos coming..good stuff!
Sweet! Have fun up there. 😁👍
That was an awesome ride. Such a cool trail system.
It really is!
My first ride ever was on the GROM trail there . . .
My honey did Scary. (I’m glad I’m only seeing this now-I would’ve been worried)
I love that downed tree skinny. That double hump skinny I have never seen anyone clear! In a previous comment I saw that you love rocks and roots, if you have never hit “wildcat” or “pine knob” they are in the Noquemenon north trails. You would go from the forestville trailhead in Marquette. Wildcat is super fun tech after the first half, and Pine Knob is about as rocky as you can get! Zhuegs trail at the south trails on the ski hill is another one that starts out really rocky that I bet you would like if you have not ridden it!
Thanks for the info, broski!
Another great video. You all would love some of the northern MN trails too if you haven't been up that way.
I'd love to do that. It's quite the drive from SE Michigan though. Duluth right? That's the best place?
@@dukeofmtb Yeah Duluth is really great. Tons of trail up that way with a wide variety of styles. Hopefully Spirit Mountain opens their lifts again next summer. There's also some good trail up along the north shore of Superior and another lift service spot in Biwabik called Giant's Ridge that would be your jam. Come ride with us! :)
@@justinsymanietz2844 Aww man, that sounds great! I wish this channel would grow already so we could travel further out. One day. 😅
Plenty to test your bike control 🤟🏻
Nice video, kept me watching 😊 now subscribed
Awesome! Thank you!
If you ever end up in SanAntonio you should call StompNU customs and get a tour of no mans land, bad lands, The Graveyard bike track, and moon landing ❤️
Thanks for the tip. 😊
That look like fun, altho' that double hump can seriously screw with your mind. Definitely a challenging feature... Always fun to see your videos! Ride safe! Cheers from San Francisco!
Cheers! 😁
At 8:00 your brothers laugh sounded just like yours! I did a double take to see if you swapped the camera haha
Lol. That's because it's me. I had someone else hold the camera for a sec. So that's me you see walking up to the camera right before I put it back on myself at around 7:58
@@dukeofmtb ohhh hahah. tricked by camera magic!
Still gotta get my butt up there before the snow. DIM SUM!!
You better hurry up. 😄
YEAH good job especially Cory, no crash..
haha. I guess it was Anthony's turn this time.
Your girl is ilokana! Wahaha love it. Stay connected guys.
Actually Kalinga, but yeah...we usually speak Ilocano when it's just us. 😊
You should check out the new trails at Stoney creek when the are complete.
Absolutely! Already tried the finished one; can't wait for the the second one to get done. Definitely gonna make a video about it.
Awesome
@@dukeofmtb There is a misca race at cannonsburg today are you planning on checking it out?
@@30ksubsforhypixleytrank45 Cory's working today and I'll be editing all day. So, nope.
YOOP!
yooooooop!!! 🤘
It was cool running into you guys at Boyne Highlands. Next time I'll tow you guys into them jumps on bad Jackson 😉
lol. We looked at them. They're hardcore double black jumps for sure. Maybe next year? 😅 Hope your lady's shoulder is alright.
Wow. These are definitely some tough trails. A lot of tight turns.
There's a ton of variety in Marquette though. Everything from smooth and flowy jump lines to rough and chunky tech trails. Something for everybody. 😁
Great video brother. This must be old? You are on the remedy? Looks awesome up there :)
I think this was before summer even.
@@dukeofmtb gotcha gotcha 🤙
Yeah boi
Dim sum
I rode that trail on a rigid fat bike. I thought it was scary. :-)
On a rigid fat bike? I'm sure it was. Kudos for making it down in one piece. 😄👍
7:04 Look in front of the Tire
Yup. Little smiley face. 😵 😁
When you guys hitting Boyne again? The new trail should be open now
Not sure. Next Saturday maybe? Depends on our work schedules.
We need some hardtail videos, pleasee
Funny you should say that. Stay tuned. 😉
As soon as I saw that today I said "Hell no"
Hey were you at Canonbury ski trail? I swear i saw someone that looked just like you in the skills area.
If you mean Cannonsburg, then yeah. Me & Cory have been there at least three times now.
@@dukeofmtb Sorry yeah I swear i saw you there yester day though
@@30ksubsforhypixleytrank45 Last time we were there must have been 3 weekends ago. 🤷♂️
U guys should come do DTE trails again
As soon as they build that last tech trail, we'll be making another video there. 😊
Sick
We are buying MTN bikes and wanted to ask. Are you and Cory 29 riders or 27.5? What do you recommend? We’ve been renting Kona Cinder Cones that are 27.5 but I’m looking at a 29 Specialized Rockhopper.
Cory's 27.5 for life. She's only 5' tall so 29ers are not even an option for her. I recently switched to 29. It's great for plowing through chunck but I feel if your inseam is less than about 32", it would start being an issue. Just my 2 cents.
The Duke of MTB that’s helpful. How tall are you? I’m 5’9” and going to checkout a 29 M Specialized rockhopper Tuesday! 🤙🏼
Aubrey is 5’4” so she may opt for the 27.5.
@@EarlyDawnTravels I'm also 5'9, so you should be fine on a 29er, especially on a hardtail. It's more of an issue on a full suspension bike due to sag. Good luck on your bike hunt. 😊👍
The Duke of MTB Thanks! Appreciate the input.
U guys need to just full send it!
Next time. This was our first time on this trail and we were exhausted from riding the past few days straight. So we just wanted to take it easy. Gonna go full blast for sure next time.
Really want to come ride that trail , looks like almost every where u could full send it !
@@ghostghost6800 Definitely full sendable. I kept waiting for something crazy to come out of nowhere, but it never did.
Especially when the trail is called scary ,lol !! In ur opinion what is a good affordable mt bike ?
@@ghostghost6800 lol. Exactly. The name had me worried for nothing. 😅
What's your budget? Hardtail or squish? Do you prefer descending, XC, or something in between?
What type of bike do y’all ride
I'm on a 2017 Remedy, Cory's on a women's Canyon Spectral, Anthony is on a Santa Cruz Mega Tower, and his wife is on a Liv Hail. So they're all in the aggressive trail to enduro categories.
Y’all should ride at frick park again and try 276 trail
@@zacharysmith8076 Sure, if we're ever passing through, we'll give it a try. 😊
