- This time we head out to Marquette, Michigan. We rode a variety of awesome trails. We also got attacked by a random bird on one of those trails. First time for everything. Fun times. 😅

The bird is a ruffed grouse. They make a crazy drum beat sound during mating season, you can feel it in your chest! Super cool haha. Love Marquette man. Good climbing up there too (rock) ;) 😂

That grouse is pretty notorious on that trail. I have had it attack me and hit me in the helmet while riding dogger. Funny it was out for yah!

Some species of birds nest and lay their eggs on the ground... sometimes in the most inconvienient places... lol. But I'm willing to bet that it was trying to protect its nest.

There is so much more there. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Sadly, we were short on time and could only ride so much. I have a couple more Marqeutte vids coming though. I'm saving the most visually stunning for last. hehe

There was a race the next day and it turns out the bird was still there, attacking riders. It must have been defending its chicks nearby or something. 🤔

Down Dogger was a family favorite for us. You should try the Munising bike park it’s short but well made.
Down Dogger was also one of our favorites among the flow trails. Next time we go, I'll give Munising a try. 😁👍
that partridge was bullying everyone on dogger last summer. luckily no sign of him this season haha

Wondering how quick all that animation and sound effects are for you... Davinci Resolve is a bit cumbersome (but free 😂)
@@TheCrashingDad I use Premiere Pro. Those things take forever. Even with saved presets and stuff. Plus I use a 360 cam in every vid so my software choice is limited. Thanks again, dude.

Nice video man, I never rode here. I used to live in Berrien Springs and did alot of the trail work on the Andrews trail system. Many people really don't know that MI has some really good riding! Good content.
Thanks, dude! Michigan is pretty large. There's a huge difference between the trails in the UP, SE Michigan an SW Michigan. It's easy to think that all we have is featureless XC trails if you live in the southeast. 😅

At 08:37 Cory said she was eating dust. That was me at the skills park at north park it was so dry. Finally got rain a week ago it help a little. Today the 7 of October it rain all day should help a lot .

Copper Harbor or Marquette?
These days, Marquette. There's more variety. Many more trails. Copper Harbor is great for the location though. It's beautiful there but a few of the best trails closed.

Her nationality is American. I think you meant ethnicity though, in that case it's Filipino.
