BBC Radio Tees Concorde Story 24th Oct 2013

I feel unquestionably privileged to have flown on Concorde. To me, as to many others, she was so much more than a mere aircraft and although I felt lucky to be invited by BA to witness the last flights land at Heathrow on 24th October 2003, it was a bittersweet moment.
in 2013, on the tenth anniversary of Concorde's retirement, I joined BBC Radio Tees presenter John Foster to talk on his programme about just what it was that made 'The Rocket' as it was affectionately known, so special.

wow..great to hear you speak about this..... I looked around concord up close at Manchester airport in its museum and was blown away by its beautiful engineering , a truly unique one of a kind amazing aircraft ...i did see it at a few air shows too....Jim
