It's nice to see half of the Remembrance set 'Finally' being released and updated. The slat issue is easy to explain though; Two Renegades had 4 slats upfront and one (Hero) renegade had 5. You are right, the new paint jobs do look amazing. But my problem with this entire range is the same problem I have currently with my Theatre Company, they're giving you pretentiously, accurate Daleks, but very little to no 'crowd pleasers', then wondering why some sets are just not being stocked/sold.
I highly recommend the rememberence set, don't wait for that to go down in price, it'll probably sell out. Deffinately get the old ones if you can, they're really good :)
Same here having already been successful in finding them and B & M will not refund the difference in price between the original selling price and the 10% discount
Now this is weird after a quick search ...my local B&M had a shelf full of these sets ..strange... maybe they just filled the shelves....Oh and after RTDs illogical and bizarre reasoning about Davros the Creation if the Daleks sets are now going for silly money on eBay...
Nah sorry bro the grey is still wrong, the problem with most props nowadays especially Dalek 1-7 & N3-N4 which are the 2 kinda most famous surviving props from Remembrance is that they both been restored & totally repainted in way brighter colours than their original paint. 6sek managed to fix them & get the colour way closer, pretty much bang on which is really similar to last years Genesis grey only less glossy. The oval is a improvement tho, shame they didn't use that new taller dome mount the Necros daleks had bc that'd help set them apart from Shawcraft based ones since everyone knows the Necros props were taller. The middle 2 discs on the eystalk also shouldn't be the same size, they should gradually go down in order of size from the dome towards the eyeball. Still tho good job on the rest of the review, ur ones are always fun to watch!
No, the renagade drones have the standard 6 short slats on the front apart from the prop with the grey lower band, which oddly has 7.
They look great. Looking forward to getting mine 😊
