just got her to 90 and her weapon to 90 this morning as well.
Got her to C3 and I'm literally obsessed with her kit and the way she can stay on field with a good skill/burst/atk rotation
Same! I love when I can actually have the characters I pull for on field for more than 2 seconds (which is why I was so disappointed about Shenhe and Yunjin being supports considering they have my favorite designs not to mention I was waiting for them since 1.1 but I digress) and Yelan's kit is so good and her gameplay is so fun she's everything I thought she was gonna be and more, I like how every single part of her kit is useful

Got her to c2r1 lost only 1 50/50 at 60 pulls ATM but no guarantee see if walking can get me a c3 >.> loving her kit though so even if I loose the c3 c2 is enough
I can honestly wholeheartedly say, that yelan is the most satisfying character I own in this game. She is so smooth and so deadly on or off the field. She is my Genshin #1
Love her because her mobility, you know when you set all power up but suddenly the monster decide to run away, teleport etc, you lose few second just to chase them.
Hoyo: Let's make a character that scales off of hp, that'll be very funny.

Do you mean that people keep putting 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate instead of 2pc Tenacity of the Millelith + 2pc Heart of Depth or Noblesse Oblige because they think she needs ER instead of HP? Yeah, I don't know where people got ER instead of HP from...
@@VictorMartinez-en8zremblem gives ER scaling dmg bonus for bursts and it applies to Yelan's burst even if she's off-field.
@@VictorMartinez-en8zr Emblem of Severed Fate increases Burst Damage based on your Energy Recharge and you need 180-200% Energy Recharge on Yelan to consistently have her Burst ready so it's a win-win. The extra Burst Damage you get from Emblem of Severed Fate also ends up being more than double what you get from 2-piece Noblesse Oblige and it can be even triple or slightly more depending on how much Energy Recharge you have (for example, you'd get 60% extra Elemental Burst Damage if you have 240% Energy Recharge from Emblem of Severed Fate).
@@StanleyG23 I’ve compared both sets and 2-piece Tenacity of the Millelith + 2-piece Heart of Depth or Noblesse Oblige was always better. Again, Yelan’s damage is scaled off of **HP**, not Energy Recharge

@@kxr9663 Yelan is hydro, that opens up a lot of team comp and with her kit we have a lot of different ways to play her.
Itto on the other hand need dedicated support and played in specific team comp. He also doesn't have any support capabilities and can only be played as DPS so yeah.

Really enjoying Yelan thus far, easily one of my faves now. Sadly because of unforseable predicaments i've been trought i was unable to c6 since i needed to cover emergency expenses. But even at c0 she's still a reliable unit i'll just patiently wait for her rerun to c6 her, good luck of your future pulls aswell

You don't have to aim to find out if she resets her Barb. Her braclet will ping and glow bright blue if you successfully reset it.

I failed getting her weapon and ended up getting jade spear but I much prefer favonius for dps yelan personally, yes you get an extra skill with sacrificial that gets better with refinements/more mobs but fav has much more er sub stat for burst uptime squeezing in more dmg with emblem and team energy for my xaingling and sucrose so I can have more uptime on their burst to help yelan vape

@@rhimeee295 oh fading twighlight the dmg is more but you'd definitely need a lot of er from substats to make up for it fav gives double the amount of fading twighlight and personally for me is a lot smoother to use for the same reasons I already stated all up to preference

I suggest that you can add a hp circlet for your Yelan build.
replace the milelith with nobles for noticeable burst dmg increase. 20% hp from milelith is roughly 3k hp increase, that still need to go thru dmg calculations. which only added around 5-7% overall dmg i think
Nobless only increase her burst damage tho.
20% more HP increases all of her damage. If you wanna increase only her burst damage I think 4 pcs Emblem is better than any Nobless combination.
Yes burst wise Nobless is slightly better but her elem skill with vape would easily reach 100k+ if you have Mile in it.
You're actually missing a lot of dps if you ignore her elem skill's dmg.
But if your focus is to only increase your burst dmg, Emblem is far superior than a 2pc Nob buff.
The burst dmg increase that comes from noblesse is additive with Hydro dmg goblet bcause it;s a % damage multiplier tho.
whatever the case ya'll right. there's no wrong set or whatsoever because in the end it's all about artifact RNG.
btw i'm using 2 pc tenacity and 2pc HoD. she dealt quite high damage. her first exquisite throw started from 12k up to 14k. skill dmg 50k. with simple vaporize she can deal 150k. tho at the cost of her ER. my ER is 100%. if you're like me who use her skill more than her burst then you can go this one. but if you mainly use her burst then you might need more ER.

@Hydrosam You can improve your damage by 40% at 3:30. You did E Q E and then charge attack.
Her E proc works independent from Q tick from normals. Ignore weaving in charge attacks between her E's, it's inconsistent and loss of time/ damage.
So her best rotation is Q > N1 > E > N1 > E > N1 > then charge attack.

@@VictorMartinez-en8zr because burst at the end would not fire the 3 hydro bolts when doing the E. Ideally you want enough energy recharge in your rotation that when you burst you have two skill usages (E) ready. You always want to start with burst, then N1+E.

Loving my Yelan so far. I'm not done building her yet but she's already putting in mad work. I got her with my Elegy of the End, so I'm prolly gonna put her on an HP sand instead of an ER one since my ER's already past, 200 so far.
I keep coming back to this video to compare this to my Yelan (because you really a good benchmark when it comes to finding a SOLID build) but the best I can do is still 65/246 with her signature weapon compared to your 77/247. Yelan is so difficult to farm for! You kind of motivate me to keep doing it though :D

Lol I already triple crowned her 2 days ago, after I got my fastest abyss run with her (Yelan, Xingqiu, Kazuha and Zhongli btw)
My crit is terrible on Yelan, it's like 30% rate and 89% damage. BUT. I have 3 HP% artifacts and use recurve bow so her HP is 55k. You should try an all HP build, it's interesting. I get more than 40k from her E which is nice on groups.
My usual round the world team is diluc Yelan Sucrose and Diona. Diona has 4 piece instructors, Sucrose has 4 piece virescent with sac frag. I can either boost Yelan or boost diluc depending on the enemy.

U know there is a symbol on her head when u do reset the breakthrough, no need to waste time charging, just look for whether the symbol appears after u use her skill, also her chance to give her breakthrough state gradually increases in aoe situation because it is 34% chance to enter the state FOR EACH OPPONENT
What do we think about using her as a quickswap skill spam for her vape? I cleared abyss using her + it. Feels a lot smoother than Xingqiu with rotations and his backflip nonsense.
from my own gameplay 160 er is enough for her if u use her skill when the cooldown is ready so with 160 er u could always have her burst up
to the stuff at the start its E: click stuff until you see big dmg on the screen

I feel like Yelan is as much of a support as Raiden Shogun or Ganyu is. True, she can be a support, but she's definitely a main dps when she wants to be.

Try Raiden sara c6 yelan benny. An alternative for us with no kazuha. I rl liked it vs Yae in Yelan's place.. guess thats the drawback of Yae's much screentime with totems but anyway 😂😅
Bro , even though like the i have the wrong set bonus( Noblesse / HoD) and i have a 88/212 crit ratio, when i saw your Yelan completely destroying mine, ngl i kinda got Jealous. Either way , Very good Solo damage and i hope i can get the 100/250 ratio i want so that i can compete with your Yelan man. Yelan mains Forever (not for the wierd reason, i felt like i had to mention that ^^)
My subDPS Yelan made 99k with her E skill without food buff or Bennett's field. Just a vape reaction. And she has 2 6 7 talents, Stringless bow, HP sands, Hydro DMG goblet and crit DMG circlet. Also she has 34k HP as well so…
P.S. Forgot to mention that she has 4-piece Emblem set
For your yelan/xl/benny/kazuha team you could have used an electro/geo/cryo character to get extra HP% from yelan's passive zhongli could have been nice but yes your yelan is cracked.
So true about suc bow, everyone in cis genshin community said that suc bow is worse then fav, however suc gives much more dmg and still enough energy for ultimate of cd
First of all, how can sac be better than fav bow? It is literally cannot damage more than fav.
Secondly, it is only 80% which not always procs (unless she is c2). XQ hits two times and Diona 5 times so passive always works.
I know that Fav need more crit rate but u can charge hit after E skill so it is OK.
@@altair4178 i think he was saying that the sac bow lets you hit with another E worth of damage, as well as her your charge shot arrow back more often.
Personally, im ok with either on her, it will just matter to me if someone else needs a sac or fav bow, then the other is going on yelan
@@J.sh_CDN now I mean there are numbers of downsides of sac. Sac can proc only 40-80% when fac prox approximately 100% even with r1 because its passive proc not only with E skill. Also sac has less er in main stat and more atk base which is useless for yelan. Finally, sac wants Yelan to spend more time onfield which is very bad for her.

I was trying to calculate my 90lvl C1 Yelan's average damage of her burst's water blades with different weapons. It is like resulting that she should crit with 13k per blade, but she only does 8.5k. Does it have something with enemy defenses and levels?

My team is Diluc, Yelan, Yun Jin and DIona. Diluc and yelan are lvl 20 lvl 1 talents and are kicking lvl 60 butts

Would Yelan work with C1 xinqiu, C0 xiangling and a c0 sucrose? I just started like a little over a month ago and Yelan is my first limited character
That won't work. Yelan and xingqiu is ok, especially if your xingqiu uses sacrificial sword. Xingqiu E, then swap to yelan to catch particles. Sucrose isn't great for non reaction team. If you have sayu, i would rather use sayu since she can heal and can also wear viridiscent venerer. Xiangling will have an ER problem in that team comp.

My yelans c0 and her skill hits 44k and charge shot 22k but when vaporize charge shot 53 to 54k and skill 108k so yeah that’s pretty good but I can still improve

C6 yelan user here, 2pc hydro 2 pc hp deals a lot more dmg than esf because of low ER% (I can still spam Ult even tho i only have 111% er becuz of the constellations)
also HP% is superior than crt dmg circlet. A hydro cup with 9% hp substat deals more dmg than a hydro cup with 22% crt dmg
So I have to use artifacts that give crit rate and crit damage?

Tbh you need C6 for her to be DPS carry as all her NA becomes BTB after burst then.
Without C6 her NA is laughable.

My Yelan C1 with AquaS bow is stronger with 2 HOD and 2 Noblesse plus 40k HP. Crit 60 / critD 240. She does around 13K in every single burst and 50K on each E.

45000k HP _ and she hits like a mactruck. Pair her with raiden and you will melt everything.
I ran so so so so many tests and c6 xingqiu is slightly higher dps at about 5-10 seconds saved on abyss 12 runs than c0 yelan with both using their best r5 4 staR weapons.
Plus xingqiu gives healing support and resistance to knockdown stagger unlike yelam who gets smacked in the face when you use the skill
but i like using fav bow on her cause her burst rotates faster imo
If ur E hit 3 enemies the breakthroutgh bard is 100% charged. Somehow it's like 34% x 3 = 102%
not really, every hit has 34% chance you cant multiply it to get 100% chance

After testing her kit for a while in spiral abyss, I think with my current build for yelan, she's much more stronger and valuable in my hu tao's double geo team. thanks to hu tao BB I can almost vap her E every time i use it. her E is one of her best kit in my opinion. 100k E damage and it's not limited to one enemies is nuts! and also thanks to her my hu tao CA damage can now past 100k without spiral abyss buff and Mr zhongli's meatballs also hit even harder 125k per meatballs.
If shes the only hydro in that team hutao may have a problem with vaping her attacks. Since geo removes the hydro aura.
@@davinci89 Have you seen the showcases tho? One slip up will remove the hydro aura and it will forever be pyro. Also this is not in any way saying Yelan is bad if I may have implied that, I have and use her as my main.

One question tho... Is it ok to have a sub DPS or support as a main DPS, I like the rule where fun > rules. But as someone who hasn't been playing the game for two years and rely on my younger cousin to teach me. I use to want to be a diona main and kokomi main, now I have too be eula main and Childe main now I think I'm looking for yelan but she's a sub DPS and my cousin won't allow it ;-;.

For DPS Yelan, what do you think about using polar star?
Probably not. The burst damage and crit rate is good but the other passive increases attack so it's kinda useless for Yelan. The new 4 star weapon at R5 would outdamage any R1 5 star weapon besides Aqua Simulacra.

If you turn the camera so your Yelan is facing you after her E. It’s really easy to see if the bracelet glows. Small tip so you’re not trying to guess if her barb is up or not .
There’s also a symbol that pops up above her head that indicates it reset so you don’t have to look at her bracelet

2pcs HoD, 2pcs Nobless if you want her to be main dps. 4pcs EoSF can but you will deal less damage since in most cases you will either run an ER weapon or sands.
And the best sub dps set ?
So we focus on cd and hp? Or er too?
