Making this pinned comment because I’m tired of people saying C6 Bennett doesn’t give yanfei pyro dmg bonus. First of all ALL OF YOU ALL ARE 100% WRONG. Second it’s okay because the c6 description is misleading. The infusion is for claymores, swords, and pole arms, BUT the 15% pyro dmg is for EVERYONE. I feel like not a lot of people talk about Yanfei but when they do she’s always a crowd favorite! She’s extremely fun to play and has one of the best VAs for Eng and JP imo. I’m glad that she’s getting so much love ❤️

I dps yanfei before and all of my coopmates were suprised at her dmg. She's a good starter dps. Enjoyable to play too.
I mained yanfei since ar17, now i'm ar55 and still mained yanfei. She is pretty good as main dps

I got Yanfei during Zhongli rerun and when I tested her out, she is the perfect DPS that I've always wanted and the smoothest character I've ever played. Her CA is most satisfying and now I teamed her up with Kokomi Sucrose and Zhongli, she's just a monster DPS. I main Ayaka and Xiao but Yanfei is my go-to DPS most of the time. Invest in her, you won't regret it 😊

How much damage?
I built my Yanfei in preparation for c2 Yelan and I am not disappointed at all; I run Yelan Kazuha Bennett Yanfei and if you set it up right you can swirl both pyro and hydro off Kazuha and put out widepeepo damage. I dropped a 145k the other day while farming ESF. She’s so comfy.

I run Yanfei with Kokomi, Zhongli & Miko and it's such a fun team. Masanori, 22 seconds. There’s not much that team can’t take out.

Yelanfei is unironically a good combo although suffers a bit from not having Xingqiu's interruption resist and needs to combo a bit differently.
I never knew Yanfei was so cracked, that's honestly insane!

Yanfei/Yae/Kuki/Sucrose is the bomb!!
Kuki with EM Tenacity pieces and a Dark Iron Sword is the most bang-for-buck you can possibly do for a Yanfei team.
I've heavily invested into my Yanfei and I usually run Yanfei, Xingqiu, Bennett and Zhongli.

@@ReigningSupreme idk, i never saw them, although not as uncommon as klee mains. I just think now that yanfei is on a banner and in an event, she's more popular, although that should be expected with with lther banners too

I’m 10 12 12, literally when yanfei leaks came out I knew she was mine…and today I just got C6 on Yelan banner!! yanfei is my favorite!!!!
With yelan's release I dropped xingqiu for her (better overworld exploration and xingqiu felt clunky in comparison), but for my files I tend to run with Diona, the cryo is nice for the occasional melt, but her main use is the extra shield for 2nd cycle, and at c6 that 200 EM hits hard. I can see why Mona would be good though, I find any vape yanfei team only has time for a few CAs before buffs start running out anyways.

if ur doing vape with yanfei I recommend u use C6 sucrose if u have it rather than C0 kazuha but if u have C2 kazuha then Use Kazuha instead
C6 Bennett does not give Yanfei an increased amount of pyro damage. Instead it give pyro damage bonus to claymore, polearm, and sword wielding characters. I hope you know that.
Nope you are absolutely 100% wrong. The text is misleading but everyone get the pyro dmg bonus. But hey that’s why I’m the content creator so I can show you the light 🤪

The infusion only applies to melee characters but, the Pyro bonus works for everyone.

"Sword, Claymore, or Polearm-wielding characters inside Fantasitc Voyage's radius gain a 15% Pyro DMG Bonus and their weapons are infused with Pyro."
Notice it says melee characters get the dmg bonus. I've read it several times because I wanted to use it with my Yoimiya, but if it's does as it reads, it won't help her or any other bow/catalyst character.
@@TheProswagonist you are correct. C6 bennett doesn't help catalyst or bow users. The way it's worded is exactly what it does. Only polearm, claymore and sword.

I had pretty good wanderers trope set after farming for navia's boss (i didn't even get one glad piece for navia when i wanted it)so i thought if i am not using this on any character it will go to waste so i started building yanfei got so surprised with her damage
I tried yanfei ganyu and its kinda bad, I think that if you put venti you could have a better result but I dont have him. My only available team is Magical Girls (Yanfei, Mona, Sucrose, C5 Barbara)
My C6 triple crown yanfei hasn't done that 100k plus per charge atk yet maybe i should upgrade her supports
but what about (c6) Kaeya-Yanfei? ik you'd have to stand really close to the enemy and it wouldn't really be practical for a ranged character, but i wanna know if it at least a little bit viable.
Definitely. If you have a reliable healer and a character who can crowd control, it can be viable!
@@Destiny_sm jean would work? As she swirls and heals a lot, even sucrose and venti would be nice for CC and for the extra damage bonus they provide
@@GeniusUpTop Jean can absolutely work but Sucrose/Venti/Kazuha are more easier to cc with.

When i got Yanfei when my AR was still low like below AR 20, i didnt use her at all. then i quit genshin. on September 2022 my friends told me to play it again and beg me. i didnt know much about building stuff and character, damage, support etc. but i started to use yanfei when i replayed. now im at AR 48 and still main her.
Yanfei most likely need Crit rate for her to do alot of good damage and me getting Crit rate circlet is so hard. Still working on getting it till this day.
My Yanfei is just unbalanced, Crit damage 200% Crit Rate 30%

I just got C1 Mona and C2 Yanfei when pulling for Yelan so I might as well build them… I’ll see if I enjoy playing them. Hopefully I will since I’m spending so much resin and books on them.
ngl i replace anemo with mona everytime i can. which is always. i just like mona better. my fav support.
also i hate anemo and it's dreadful finickiness so that makes it an even decision easier.
i turned into a yanfei main on my second account and that's exactly the party i'm using since i got mona last week. i'm not having an easy time using yanfei though. She really doesn't seem like a "hidden 5 star", just a good 4 star. also as a geo main (in my main account) i'm making incredible discoveries on how much damage enemies actually do when they... you know, do damage. damn!
I use Yanfei as my main dps most of the time, even tho my shimenawa set has 3 bad pieces with a lot of def and hp she still does a lot of damage per second and her play style is so smooth, with R5 widsith she out damages my tuna Eula and my Yae with her signature weapon.
As for teams I put my self the challenge of only using waifus so no bennet or xinqiu for me and my favourite team is Diona for shields and 200EM, Kokomi for heals, vaporize, thrilling tales and Millelith buffs and then on the last sloth either Xiangling for pyro resonance, Yae Miko, Fishl, Beidu, Rosaria or even Sucrose.
i need a full lesson on all these genshin technique terms like wtf is crite rate i don't get any of these details things but i somewhat made it to inazuma
I wish there will soon be more pyro characters that can reliably cast pyro application off-field, so people don't have to do all those yanfei etc 1.5x dmg vape team instead will have true 2x dmg vape team

Sometimes you need to think about consequences when you add new character, if mihoyo release off field pyro applicator to buff water vape team, then they have to deal with consequences accidentally buff cryo melt instead, which is more potent, as cryo to melt is weak reaction, eating less pyro rather than water to pyro (strong reaction) thus more melt can be done consistently.
This will further buff melt ganyu and possibly create new team dubbed melt ayaka.
Both cryo carry already top tier you don't want to buff them even more.

My yanfei party consist her, kuki, Barbara, and qiqi

Unfortunately, c6 bennet only applies to sword, polearm and claymore users, great video btw!
The pyro buff applies to everyone in his circle
Sword, Polearm and Claymore users get the Pyro Infusion, but everyone (including Yanfei) can get the Pyro DMG buff.
So C6 Bennett is still good for Yanfei.
@@dojiz7242 i actually didnt know that because in description it says you have to be sword, polearm or claymore to get both the pyro infusion and the pyro dmg bonus but you do actually get the 15% pyro dmg bonus on other weapons.

my yanfei team atm includes xq, albedo, and zhongli! it works great
i build my lv59 yanfei with 2pc shimenawa and echoes (not using crimson bc i never farmed that domain and i dont have a decent 4pc wanderers) with a r1 lv90 widsith and my ratio is 60/178. i use yelan instead of mona and its actually pretty good! the highest my yanfei ever did is 40k and her average charged attack would be around 12k-19k. she's c6 tho BUT she's lv59 and lv 4 talents and did 40k max and thats pretty high if you ask me. i only tested her out against world bosses bc yanfei only has like 12k hp and im afraid i'd get one shotted against weekly boss ssjdkdkdk but yeah just sharing my experience :)))
i would level up yanfei but i only have like 3 heros wit so i have to wait until i have enough LOL. also i'd love to hear how other people build their yanfeis as well

When you say crit value, how is it that you calculate that? What gets you those numbers you speak of?
crit rate x 2 + crit dmg = crit value

You need to go and unlock her constellations to get her to C6
Then try to build her up, collect her materials and level her up, she's a really fun character to play with

U can use crimson witch of flames artifact on her it's very good :D I use hp flower, atk feather, atk sands, pyro damage bonus goblet and crit damage hat but if u don't have a crit rate weapon then u should use crit rate hat and crit damage weapon

As a FTP who uses DPS Yanfei, it is possible.
I use healer Noelle, Dendro traveler, and Kaeya/ Chongyung
She is my from the start of game she is the one who make game easy for me
