So I got into RC. Watched 1000 videos and subbed to every channel. A year later I've got a bunch of cars, struggle to find time to fit it in, so I only look at the cars that stand out and watch a few vids now... This is the first review in ages, and as soon as I saw this car on Ur channel I knew to watch it. Your reviews are the most in depth. The style unassuming. Love it. I'm wondering why the channel hasn't really grown like the others in the same time when it's clearly among the best. Like I cld literally unsubscribe to most of them now and keep this and a few others...but then I realise that it's probably because the channel is not money mad, set up with countless ads and sponsors and shoving products down ppls necks every 5 secs like all the other RC channels. Logarithm no likey. But me likey the most.
Thanks, yeah I think almost all the channels bigger than mine are trying to do this as a living, whereas I am not. But I appreciate the comments, made my day!
It's a sweet little buggy. On these smaller ones, a steering gyro helps a lot. Good thing they use a Dumbo RC radio so the gyro receiver for it is only 17 dollars and it will bind to that radio. The Dumbo RC radios are not bad. They have a great range and minimal lag.
I agree. I swapped all my RC's to the DUMBORC X6PM-350. Wayy better than the transmitter/receivers that come in the box. I added the gyro receivers as well.
I did notice that the transmitter doesn't have a channel 5 adjustment which is normally used for the gyro adjustment.. That may be an issue with the Dumbo gyro receiver replacement?
I ordered it on Amazon & it came in one day this RC is absolutely amazing I have much more powerful larger bashers including the the Lazernut & I can say this it’s like a mini me of the Lazernut. Nice touch with the nice 2s battery that comes with it. I ran it on 2s & it’s fast & then I ran it on 3s it’s a little harder to handle but isn’t that what we want a tire burning wheelie on demand basher. I’m taking the Lazernut & Rlararlo.
Got one of these trucks to mess around with in my yard when I come home from work. The weekend is when I go out to the excavation pit by my house with my 4 and 6 s armada. The front driveshafts are extremely weak and those snap rod ends are garbage. Two small jumps and I broke a front driveshaft. I had some WL toys parts laying around and I modified a WL toys drive shaft much thicker just had to use the rlaarlo Axle cup and Dremel out the pin slot a little bit for the bigger pin haven't had a problem since. The rlaarlo truck is nothing but a WL toys 144001 with some upgrades anyway.
Son of a gun . Rlaarlo got me with their good prices and good offerings so far . The 1/14 brushless is dope imho, the cf Omni terminator is also sweet . This one would be next for $160 or should I get arrma Gorgonzola ? I think this offers more . Seen their parts and cars in Amazon too so dealing with Amazon on these moving fwd is a good idea , also imho .
I definitely want one of these. Seems like they may have put the wrong oil, in the wrong shocks. If the back is less damped than the front, thats definitely a problem. I noticed it wanted to nose dive alot, thats why (im sure you know). Great vid as always, man.
This is a buggy and thick oil in the front, thin in the rear is exactly how you want it. A thicker oil in the front will cause the front end to 'pop' off the jump and make it LESS likely to nose dive. If the front is dropping it is not the shock setup (although it can happen if the rear is 'severely' underdamped and slapping) . 👍
Great vid, very informative. I recently got into rc (2 months ago and I already have 3: hbx 16889, sg1603 and the zd racing ex 16 is on the way 😂) I'm currently looking for a rc that could easily run on grass ( for my kid and the dog 😂). I was set on the rival mt10 but now that rlaarlo looks good too and seems like it can handle grass. Any recommandation on which one I should get for the grass? It can be another model too
You can´t go wrong with the Rival MT10 since it´s still one of the best 3s bashers out there imho. And it can handle some grass for sure. I really like the look of this Rlaarlo but i kinda hesitate getting one since i first have to fix my Lasernut needs fixing and this one looks a lot like a smaller version of it 😂. Hope you´ll find something fitting for your kid and dog. Keep on bashing 🤜🤛
If you wanted to go just a little cheaper you could get a MJX hyper go 14209 or 14 to 10 very fast powerful and they don't break easy. So your son will have a blast without breakage. They're 14th scale so they don't have issues going in the grass especially the 14210. Plus it looks very sweet too. Hope this helps and I hope you look into it cuz you won't regret it.
These Chinese brands have come a long way and this buggy seems to be one of the better ones - really solid platform! I just dont get why these manufacturers have such a fascination with these smaller scales - giive us some 1/10 vehicles! 🙏 Ok, they are kinda cool for stuffing in your back pack, though, lol. Thanks for the vid.
I think when they're starting out, it's a lot easier and cheaper to start with smaller cars and figure things out before ramping up and spending more money on the bigger cars. My guess anyway.
This comment doesd Have anththing to do with this video do you think putting typhon6s shocks on an outcast v2 would be better than the stock shocks also are you further outcast or the kraton when it comes to the 4s line😊
I run larger bashers like the Mojave & Fireteam so it’s hard to run anything after you run those but I can say this for $183 I’d snatch one up it’s very surprising how good it runs & I don’t always have time to take the larger bashers out that need more room.
Hi, I'd like to add my voice to the compliments of Razor RC's fans, not only because he always gives excellent advice that goes beyond simple testing. I own a WL Toys 12429 and received my Rlaarlo AM D12 a few days ago. I've noticed a loud mechanical noise when I try to move it, both with the motor off and with the motor running. I've noticed that the rattling noise can be heard by moving the crankshaft each time I start it up. The noise disappears if I turn the wheels very slowly with my hands (I assume this is not a differential problem). I've written and sent two videos to Rlaarlo who tells me it's normal friction between metal gears, but it seems strange to me as my WL Toys has always been absolutely silent. can you help me understand this, please? ua-cam.com/video/JF0ZpNyTKPs/v-deo.html to be more precise I found this video of a user who has the same problem on another model of Rlaarlo. thank you in advance for any suggestions.
I only just ordered one and its my first rc. But ive learned that the Rlaarlo stuff seems like its higher grade metal than the wltoys stuff. Someone tried replacing parts of their WL drivetrain with rlaarlo parts but they ate up the Wltoys parts. He said because they're dissimilar metals it's a bad idea to mix drivetrain parts of the brands. For that same reason they might be hard to compare?

Looks like a winner 🏆
I can't believe it. A Chinese brand that appears to hold a standard sized battery. That's rare. I knew it would happen sooner or later.

I'm glad it's got a slipper now it's little footsies won't get cold. LOL😂😂😂😊
Hopefully they make a 1/0 or 1/8 rc soon
Dirt jump track is epic! where is it located?

Hello what diff oil weight do u recommend to use for slash 4x4 lcg front diff, center diff and rear diff when racing?????????
This one looks really good! Cheaper than the new Associated MT14 and more aluminum parts 😱
Which 3S battery range do you recommend? Will this decrease the life of the ESC?

Nice looking buggy. WallyRC
Just like the LC Racing EMB- DT 👍🏻

The included radio is a dumbo rc.. so pretty decent for budget.
I didn't know that, thanks! I did notice it was pretty good!
Thats a Dumbo receiver, buy the Dumbo X6FG receiver for $10 has built in gyro, will bind with that remote.
Looks sweet. I'd snap one if they were at least 1/10 scale. Too dinky for my taste.

It actually drives bigger than it is, not sure if that makes any sense.
Yeah I can see that in your video and others! I just might end up with one😎@@RazorRC
Why does Rlaarlo only make the smaller size RC'S they only have one that is 1/10 scale we need more 1/10 and 1/8 scale RC'S !!!!!!!!!
No
I’m sure they’ll get there. 😉
I have a rlaarlo am-x12, i dont recommend this scale for anyone
