    Hi.. I am watching your videos from last 1.5 years and happy to see your journey. I am also doing my masters in UK .
    Could you please guide which topic one should cover in Data Science to get job in UK??
    Is learning MLOps or FastAPI necessary ??
    Please reply.

      These skills are not always mentioned in the job description so, considering that, i can say its not mandatory to learn these skills... However, if you have time and resources, learning additional skills will only help improve your profile...

    Hi, thanks for the informative video. In your second technical round where you had to add features in the shopping application. What kind of features did you have to add and what tech stack did you use?

    • @ProgrammingCradle
      @ProgrammingCradle  2 роки тому

      So, it was a shopping cart... And i had to add features like discounted price based on the item code, and then buy one get one free sort of thing...
      It was all python based... But had to follow TDD(test driven development)

    Hi, Thanks for the informative videos. It is very rare to see videos explaining course content. I also got admissions for MSC Data Science course in both University of Newcastle and Nottingham. Which one do you suggest? Can you give any information regarding Nottingham Data Science MSC if you aware.

    • @ProgrammingCradle
      @ProgrammingCradle  2 роки тому

      Following comment is purely based on course content i saw on University of Nottingham website and my personal exp with Newcastle Uni:
      - Both universities are reputed universities and their course content is sufficient enough find the right opportunity once you complete the course. However, if you are from non computing background I think uni of nottingham is more suitable bcoz they are covering programming as a mandatory module which will surely help you in picking up things very quickly...
      - Newcastle University has very project based learning kind of thing... So, we had projects in all the modules, hence, a very practical oriented course. However, some people felt they had less time to grasp things bcoz we had to do lot of projects... So, it also depends on how fast one can learn...
      I hope this helps...

    Informative video bro. I have a few doubts..
    Currently I doing Data Science Pg Program certification on skill lync. I want to masters in data science, I completed IELTS. With the help of certification i can write SOP and they provide Letter of Recommendation. But i have a confusion to choose countries like Canada or UK. You said on your old videos that you friends studying on US, Canada.. And you are the person to answer my doubt. i don't have a degree on non tech background, but i well passionate to do masters in data science. My only doubt is, Should I get the admission from Canadian University. As per my knowledge UK universities accepting non tech background, but my 1st preference is Canada. Could i able to grab the admission with this profile on Canadian Universities?
    Your Videos are really helpful to me ❤

    • @ProgrammingCradle
      @ProgrammingCradle  2 роки тому +1

      Hey Sakthi... My friends who are pursuing masters in Canada are from tech background... So, I can not say for certain that you will get admit. But with the PG program that you are doing, you can apply for the universities in Canada and see if they accept your application or not. Or you can email the admission team and tell them about your profile and ask them whether you will be eligible for masters in that particular university.
      Generally you need to have a bachelors degree or equivalent to do masters...

      One can apply for jobs from outside the UK on various platforms like targetjobs, reed, linkedin, etc... However, I am not sure how companies respond to that. From what I have heard, people say its really very hard to find a job in some country when you are not residing in that country at present.

    Hi,
    Your video was very informative and crisp.
    I will be joining University of Bath for MSc Business Analytics this fall.
    I had few questions.
    1. Do we need to know DSA for cracking data science positions?
    2. You mentioned there were some MCQs in which you had to correct the code or something like that. So in which language were the codes? Is python enough or do we have to learn any other languages also?
    3. Lastly, should we practice leetcode problems for data science/data analyst roles also?

    • @ProgrammingCradle
      @ProgrammingCradle  2 роки тому +1

      1. Maybe not core DSA but one should know atleast basic data structures, time and space complexity...
      2. Code snippets were in Python... Generally companies ask for your preferred language... So, python would be enough...
      3. I would say yes, at least until a point where you are comfortable enough to build logic and implement it in your preferred programming language, if not the most efficient logic.

      Data science/analytics is for everyone. I’ve seen people from arts background becoming data analysts. For Data analyst/ scientist, a common language is python and sql. First try to learn that and see if you’re comfortable. U can get a free machine learning certificate from analytics Vidhya. Once u are confident then u will have a clarity on what to do next. I would recommend applying for interviews and see how it goes. If u can’t crack it then u can join course. I hope this helps ?

      I agree with all the points Govardhan has put forward... Its all about learning relevant skills and making a good profile... Most institutes will tell you that its job guarantee program and such... But ultimately all they can do is arrange interviews for you... After that its up to you to crack it... And it will only happen if you have the right skills and good knowledge.
