I have a master's degree in educational technology and am learning Tableau for my current project. I am picky about what videos I watch, and yours are AMAZING. I couldn't find paid-for videos better than yours. Thank you!!!
Hello Stephen - thank you so much for taking the time to share this. It really means a lot. I am happy that you've found the videos helpful. There's still a lot of areas to improve, but happy that at this state people are finding value in them. Thank you again :)
Your videos are top tier class: well paced, thoroughly explained, taking the time to highlight each important element, without any "look how good I am at this" swagger that is sadly so common in many other channels... I'm gradually understanding Tableau much better. Thank you so much for your efforts!
Saying again you are doing a tremendous job. You are super clear with your concepts and the way you present the same is awesome. Thanks Donabel we are blessed to have a trainer like you.
Thank you so much for your kind note, Hoang! I hope you find this video helpful. The next use cases are more involved than the Top 1-5, and 6-10, so likely there will be a video per use case. Hope these will be helpful too :)
such a quick and concise method of explanation. I may not understand some of the concepts but it makes it easier for me to learn, knowing it is explained excellently . Thanks !
@@sqlbelle for me it could have 15 parts, really. This is such a interesting and challenging topic to discuss and learn and you make it look easier. Thanks for your time and work on that.
I totally agree! I think there's a lot to cover. It's easy to mistake one solution to be a be-all end-all solution, but the moment you change data sets, the same calculations may not work the same. Thank you for your comment and support! Much appreciated!
@@sqlbelle Just curious, did you take or receive any formal Tableau training? Your instructions are perfect for beginners AND someone who has a little bit of experience. I had Tableau installed on my work laptop and that was it. No idea what it was or how to use it. 3 yrs and some 40+ dashboards later, I'm still learning. 😄
can’t believe i missed this! my bell alert was not working. Thx as always. taking Python classes now, so will be looking at your proposed learning site!
Hi , i have one doubt can you please validate the sales on selected date values.? when i compare the data it is giving huge number. if we are selecting any date then it needs to display sales on that selected day right but i can see your video at 29.32 mintute i can see daily sales is one value and sales on selected date is one value , can you please clarify me.
Hi! thanks a lot for your videos. When try to put the reference band dosent apprears the option to choose date or adj(close). It only appears the whole table, do you know what that is happening? is it for my version of tableau?
this vedio was very useful, can you please teach to fillter out the tickers which fall under negative value based on % Difference from Selected Range instead of seleting one by one ticker and see which is negative or possitve
Love to watch your videos and they are very helpful!!! thanks a lot. But I have a question that in the case using superstore data set, should we compute the sales on selected data using avg of daily sales instead of sum? I think sum function should works on sales
Hi Sqlbelle, can you please help us with "Jitter Plot" different ways using examples '1. Strip plot & Random Function' '2. Box-and-Whisker plot & Index Function' and any other methods with which we create Jitter plots.
Hi belle ,I'm your bigest fan.if I follow your playlist called "Learning Tableau? Follow this playlist",can I view all your tableau teaching videos without missing one of them.(my English is not good ,hope you can understand)😀
Thank you Christill. The playlist does not have all the videos in the channel. I also add videos to this playlist every so often. That's a great point, perhaps I can provide an actual list later on for anyone who wants to view the videos in sequence.

Thank you Giuliko. There's a part 4 next week :) .. I think that should round up the Top 15, but depends on how long the video turns out to be.

Do u hv any udemy course belle??
Thank you Omega Ranger - I don't have a Udemy course at the moment.
@@sqlbelle pls do one..u r the best tableau teacher
I cannot get the average across range to work. I’ve tired so many times. It’s not matching the correct average amount.
It keeps averaging the day between everything per day and then averaging the total averages per day even when it’s fixed to the ticker.
Yeah I’m stuck. I can’t even get the day amount to label on the reference line for selected date. It won’t show up. I followed this step by step.

Don't forgot to change the aggregation on your label marks from SUM() to AVG() otherwise Selected Sales and % Difference labels will be wrong.
thanks.
excellent explanation @sqlbelle
