You'll find some activities and people you like there for sure in time. And memories you won't forget, like a group invite to a member's castle retreat up in the mountains, trip to the highlands with an esteemed lecturer, tour of one guy's factory plus many treats, groups taken out on members' super-yachts, etc (we went out on someone's 400-foot yacht that probably costs over $300M, which he had fully catered for us with a first-class spread by a first-class restaurant, as his "guests". Malaysia is ONLY for the rich. The Malaysian gov’t has raised the required financial obligations to stay and retire, very, very high. Malaysia is a total no-go for the average retiree. Look elsewhere.
I have mm2h no good use than i bought turkish citizenship now that is premium. If Malaysia wants to attract investors they should do more than that offer something permanent

You are close for the S-MM2H. For a single the pension income minimum is US$1555. The Fixed Deposit, which must be deposited in a bank in Sarawak (though it can be an international bank like OCBC or HSBC) is US33,333. So you'd have about US$157,000 is savings. An agent might be able to demonstrate or suggest a way to show that you could easily live on that amount through the term of the visa. You may not be able to reside in Peninsula Malaysia as the Federal government now looks down upon people residing Full Time there. But you can visit as much and as long as you wish. KL is pretty expensive actually, Sarawak is much cheaper, less crime and more laid back. Not a lot of "night life" except for festivals and firework shows. Nothing at all like Bangkok. Golf, beaches, hiking, kayaking, scuba, etc. in Borneo. Don't worry about the language requirement...most people speak English although they'll respect you immensely if you speak some Malay or a local language. Over 50 is allowed to do some types of PT work.
Are older long-term gay couples recognized such that an applicant may register a spouse for MM2H or S-MM2H program? Or... would they have to register as separate individuals and have to double the financial requirements?
Age 50 and above must meet the basic set of requirements ...proof of sufficient off-shore income AND establishing a Fixed Deposit. Those 30-50 have to meet additional requirements (e.g. purchasing a residential property or enrolling a child in a Sarawak school). Those over 50 also are allowed to work PT in certain areas, and/or to invest as a sleeping partner (49%) in a (51% or more) Sarawak-based business. Those over 60 are generally waived from having health insurance. Everyone must also do a health check in Sarawak, purchase cheap health insurance, have a police background check, and either a local sponsor or agent.
The fees are for the Premium and Elite Program...Sarawak MM2H has no fee other than the RM500/year visa fee. The Fixed Deposit goes into your own account in a Sarawak branch of a Malaysian licensed bank....such as OCBC, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Bank of China, etc.
Always. That doesn't mean you have to be in perfect health. Just ambulatory enough to be able to travel for treatment... They are mainly looking for evidence of narcotic and other drug residues and/or still infectious sexually transmitted disease (including Hepatitis). Another potential issue is Tuberculosis (i.e. chest X-Ray), although it is not a game changer if it is under treatment.
Thirty at the lower end...no top end. But there is a health check to see if one is capable of flying out. They have very good health services though those over 60 cannot usually find full service insurance. They purchase Health Care over the counter...usually receiving immediate or next-day treatment. Physicians do house calls!!! A well developed Medical Tourism business with Indonesia as physicians have UK/US.Australian credentials. Five different private speciality hospitals. There have been some expats that opt to die in this beautiful land. Some have Catholic or Anglican services, others cremated in a Buddhist fashion. As well, up to 40% of the Fixed Deposit can be used as reimbursement for Medical costs.

someone should check on the people in the office in the background.. they are not moving..lol
(People From UK) I want to apply for a Malay citizenship but I’m unsure how to do it and also unsure what I would need to do it… does anybody know the process of doing this? Does it make it any easier that I’m also malay even though I was born in UK?
Malaysia is ONLY for the rich. The Malaysian gov’t has raised the required financial obligations to stay and retire, very, very high. Malaysia is a total no-go for the average retiree. Look elsewhere.
In us dollars always please
I have mm2h no good use than i bought turkish citizenship now that is premium. If Malaysia wants to attract investors they should do more than that offer something permanent
Then people can go to Turkey my brother. It is a government requirement and we just changed the government last year. Maybe it will change again, I am not sure. Yes, I agree turkey's cost of living is lower.
Malaysia again clowning around without looking at the big picture / global scenarios.
Malaysia is the prettiest country in South East Asia, let down by bungling and incompetent politicians.
Malaysia needs to look at the big picture.
Continuous knob twiddling with their MM2H.
Initially this was attractive, but now it has become a big joke for jockstraps.
the S-MM2H is pretty low considering the other two programs. why only 7000 ringet? isnt that 1500 USD? Is this the retiree visa? The age categories don't seem to align with the fixed income requirements. Please, I would like more details. particularly what documents are needed and taxes for Malaysia I am a US passport holder and maintain my tax residence here,
Not sure what sabah's requirements are as they are autonomous like sarawak.
Supposed to be announced this month. The provisional requirements are similar to Sarawak (i.e. they don't want to drive away people) but still some questions about whether property purchase or rental would be mandatory or optional. Age level differences, etc.
The requirements are pretty high but not unreasonable. The premium is only for the elite and most make comments don’t have 40,000 ringgit monthly income.
How many in USA Dollars is 100,000
In Ringot dollars is this. Thank you.
Please give information in USD
PVIP program: What is the average bank interest on the 1,000,000 ringit ? Do you pay Malay taxes on it ? Thanks
Can i live in malaysia as a 21yrs old ??
For the premium visa, would it be 480k ringgit per year combined income with spouse?
Why not Thailand? Cheaper.
yea ok
Pls I'm not intentionally being negative, and yes it's a ok place ,but look in to it carefully, always bank HSBC not local some times funds go missing like I had happened on a transfer situation.
how much nomad fees and any office in united states or KL ?
Residence permit would allow you to work as well?
no
Sorry madam. Here spouse pr also people waiting from years where get many people getting old butt didn't get pr also . They married here child here butt still take passport every where never get pr also
40000 ringit is over $9000 USA dollars a month, a bit high
but if you want rich Chinese Ex-Pats this is the way you do it. Just sayin
Transfer in a local bank ,then I banked with HSBC .
if the person is retired and has no monthly income, what does he need to furnish for mm2h?
You would need bank statements proving income. Feel free to contact our team at help@nomadcapitalist.com to discuss the many options available in Malaysia and elsewhere (we work with 60+ countries).
I am 24 year old. So i cant apply for MM2H or SMM2H?
So roughly 1,700 USD
Hi, I'm 50 yrs old what if I had $150,000 to $180,000 from my house sale in America and got a social security check for $1,200 each month And put $40,000 US dollars in a separate account for show OR not but I'd still have the $150,000 plus my check each month would that work? And I would NOT be working, but if I was forced to go to class to learn a language, say just to live there, I would will any of this work?
I was going to kove to bangkok, but their financial requirements are worse, and more money to be given 🙄🙄🙄‼️IF moving to KL fails, I'll have NO choice but to move to Lima or Chile I can't afford to live in America ‼️‼️
Thanks
Or... would they have to register as separate individuals and have to double the financial requirements?
so, you MUST have children if you're above 30 in order to be eligible ?
Does Malaysia still ban Israelis from both MM2H?
Unfortunately we do not have diplomatic ties with Israel. I confirm this as a malaysian.
haha of course they are banned!!
For Sarawak, what if you’re older than 49?
@@gerrelldrawhorn8617tks!
There is no way I would hand that sort of money to that government.
What if I have $4.000.000 and generate no income?? Can I still get a Visas??
Set up a fictitious corporation (Black Mountain) and pay yourself a monthly salary. Monthly salary goes back into the account.
will a candidate have to submit to medical exam?
What if I have no kids??
100000 Ringitt = $US23000 or about 21000 Euros
Is there no permanent residence permit. I wouldn't want to take chances regarding extension once I'll be 90 years old.
any age limit for S-MM2H?
Thirty at the lower end...no top end. But there is a health check to see if one is capable of flying out. They have very good health services though those over 60 cannot usually find full service insurance. They purchase Health Care over the counter...usually receiving immediate or next-day treatment. Physicians do house calls!!! A well developed Medical Tourism business with Indonesia as physicians have UK/US.Australian credentials. Five different private speciality hospitals. There have been some expats that opt to die in this beautiful land. Some have Catholic or Anglican services, others cremated in a Buddhist fashion. As well, up to 40% of the Fixed Deposit can be used as reimbursement for Medical costs.
while talking to non Malaysians you could ve converted the money to USD!
Where is Andrew ? This robotic video was unappealing, lazy with mistakes too. Who can do Ringit to USD and Euro calculations in there head ? Nothing new to report here in 2023.
Why people who produce these vids think it looks good to film the side of someone’s head while they are looking away from the camera complex bores me. Switched off in less than a minute
Let me tell you ,you have to be married no partner .
Deweloping
They should have an office to help foreigners navigate the process . It’s very confusing where I land in .. I am 38 years old and just want purchase property Kuala Lumpur without limit amount requirement to purchase ..
Malaysia is quite a restrictive Muslim Malay nation. It is only 1 incident from genocide.
youre smoking too many bongs and developed paranoia mate.
Malaysia has very strong Muslim undercurrents. Do not expect the non extremist Muslims to protect u if u do get attacked by the extremist Muslims.
i think there are no such thing as extremist malaysian muslim who are attacking non muslim in Malaysia...
@@addieadnan669 I live in Msia, I can confirm this is true. Just look at PAS and how they treated western musicians -calling for their cancellation etc..let's not get started on anything related to dogs..or overpriced meat which isn't halal.
@@camelotenglishtuition6394 first of all, it would be best to look for beautiful, peace, togetherness in people and places that you are staying or been to and do not get caught into the drama,
then since you are saying you are living in Malaysia, i would suggest you start to mingle and truly live with most of the Malaysian population rather than a certain sect or certain race or certain places only and it will give you a better view on the whole scenario...
i do not want to get into politics, but if you are thinking PAS voice their uneasiness with certain western artistes considered harsh, than by applying the same standard i would say most western political parties are right and left wing extremists...
Malaysia n Malaysian are not perfect yet we strive to be the best that we can...
and muslims in Malaysia do not attacked non muslims...
Strong undercurrent of muslim is correct, but none of us muslim malaysian will force you to follow our way of life.
Christian extremist killed millions of children across middle east under American flag. maniacs genocidal no one talk about
Unfortunately until Malaysia gets out of the dark ages regarding treatment of LGBT people, I will not be investing in their country.
are u part of LGBT community??
at least its not woke
YES all are welcoming as long as know how to respect sensitivities of race, religion and royal.never provoke this three then you are welcoming
