I'd suggest adding a few bold (or baby lights?) platinum blonde highlights in the front...since her skin tone is pinkish...I believe that would look amazing❗I'm going to add some lowlights & highlights to my base color also 😀

I cannot believe you asked!!! I was actually waiting for you to say it when you changed views! It's ridiculous of course! Or as my husband likes to say "Aristophanes!" The first thing I didn't like was her bang. She has such a pretty face and that bang is just not flattering. But that side part? Perfect! Really drew my attention to her eyes and those great cheekbones! I thought the sideview was fine but when you show it a bit shorter, I like it better. If she has the nerve, and the spunk, I think that shorter cut really looks great on her. It actually makes her look spunky! She has a nice profile and it really highlights that! Such a little cutie! I noted first her wideset, big brown eyes, gorgeous smile and oval face shape. She appears to be quite petite, too. Given all that, I'd probably cut the hair in a very short shape in a cute, modern, spikey style. I'm thinking a color, perhaps, of a Copper Mahogany. She is simply gorgeous! First, I like her and think she looks great now. Darker roots, changing tone is a great option. Changing layers around eyes and bringing up the length looks great. For me, the shorter cut isn't my personal favorite. I almost always love your curve balls, but this time, I prefer the smaller tweaks. Bravo to the ladies who submit their photos. The idea of doing this for myself is absolutely frightening!
Great question! I honestly been horrible about emailing people to let them know they've been featured. Best intentions, then I drop the ball. BUT, moving forward, my amazing wife has signed on to help me with some of my business with these emails being part of that help! SO, moving forward, everyone will be made aware about a week in advance of their segment being aired that they've been selected as well as an email on the day of publish with a link so they can easily find the video!

That's the haircut I crave -- but it takes skill not to make a mess of it and if your stylist doesn't know how to bevel the back and keep everything from falling apart into different sections it won't work. Love the hairstyle, looks fantastic on this lovely lady!

I am getting a young/cute vibe from her and would LOVE to see her with a layered style that could be flipped up/out especially towards the back instead of under (IMO ‘the under’ is aging her). Wow! I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did. If I were(was?) Betty, I would absolutely go with your color suggestion and your curve ball. She looked fantastic with the shorter cut! Now please excuse me while I go binge on all your past content!
The end result is perfect, go for it Betty! Even if you don't like it completely "meh" it's only hair that grows out anyway and you can always modify it on the next cut. The color you have now makes it look washed out. Personally I would just warm up the color with a warmer blonde. Not too dark but a warmer blonde. Even if you like to do highlights, you can warm up the highlights too. Justin the reason why I just started watching your channel is bc I am getting my hair cut this Thursday and have been looking for a new style, this is it!!! Right now my hair is longer than Betty's and I'm very tired of the same old cut.. I want to go shorter without going over the top. Thank you Justin! Love the transformation. As a hairstylist for 20 years, now retired, it is so hard to get a person to change their hair styles. Even if it is trying to get a person to do a partial side part from a center part. I have pictures of my past and I never had the same hair style. I was always changing it. I had ONE client that was open to everything and together we came up with a master plan. Plus, she was very fussy with her hair and her hair was always perfect no matter what she was doing. I would like to believe I was an artist at what I did. I enjoy watching your videos and even though I am retired my mind is still open to all your suggestions. I was a late bloomer in the hair industry. In those 20 years my ambition to be an owner of a salon and designing what square footage I had to work with. My health made me stop. If it would have been different I would still be standing behind that chair at 71 years young. I'm happy to have found your videos! Thank you!!! Wow! I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did. If I were(was?) Betty, I would absolutely go with your color suggestion and your curve ball. She looked fantastic with the shorter cut! Now please excuse me while I go binge on all your past content!
The end result is perfect, go for it Betty! Even if you don't like it completely "meh" it's only hair that grows out anyway and you can always modify it on the next cut. The color you have now makes it look washed out. Personally I would just warm up the color with a warmer blonde. Not too dark but a warmer blonde. Even if you like to do highlights, you can warm up the highlights too.
Justin the reason why I just started watching your channel is bc I am getting my hair cut this Thursday and have been looking for a new style, this is it!!! Right now my hair is longer than Betty's and I'm very tired of the same old cut.. I want to go shorter without going over the top. Thank you Justin! BTW Justin can you address cuts on women with jowls, older and younger...

That doesn't suck! All your suggestions were spot on. Cooler color, shorter style and slightly altered part gave Betty a youthful look. I think she could have a lot of fun with this look.

Hi Betty! You are so dainty and your eyes really pop. Your hair is so thick and I am jealous! I would think that Justin might want to take some out weight in the back and layer it quite a bit. He might also want to put some lowlights in your hair or darken it up just a smidge. You are so awesome for sharing your photo and allow us to make such personal comments about you. :-)

Love the transformation. As a hairstylist for 20 years, now retired, it is so hard to get a person to change their hair styles. Even if it is trying to get a person to do a partial side part from a center part. I have pictures of my past and I never had the same hair style. I was always changing it. I had ONE client that was open to everything and together we came up with a master plan. Plus, she was very fussy with her hair and her hair was always perfect no matter what she was doing. I would like to believe I was an artist at what I did. I enjoy watching your videos and even though I am retired my mind is still open to all your suggestions. I was a late bloomer in the hair industry. In those 20 years my ambition to be an owner of a salon and designing what square footage I had to work with. My health made me stop. If it would have been different I would still be standing behind that chair at 71 years young.
