We have already done a video on a standard "stick up" camera that Ring offers. In this video we will show how to install an Elite Ring (Power Over Ethernet) Camera. This camera costs a little more than the traditional camera system, but it has some great features. Clear picture, wide angle viewing and the fact that it powers itself over an ethernet cord means you do not have to have a plug nearby. THIS IS NOT A WIFI CAMERA!

Hello! Do you know what's the farthest you could run the ethernet cable out ? I want to power it inside the house and have the camera like 50ft out.

I know this comment is old, but just in case anyone else needs this, Ethernet is good for up to 300-350 feet. Beyond that it may or may not work. So In your case you are definitely good.
