Hello, I made a similar tree yesterday. I found it easier to assemble all the components, after cutting them oversize, then using a tracksaw to cut the sides. Good video, thanks.
@pinkplonker8776 Thanks for watching and eventually, I want to try a track. I just never worked with one was wondering how the good they worked. Do you ever get them sliding on you?
@@CraftedbyRay they can slide so I always fix them in some way - usually the clamps that are provided. There are other ways including using a grip mat,
Watched your video on the the tv in the shop and made it with your instructions came out great was think of using fence pickets can get 2 2.5 cuts out of one picket
Ray, can you tell me how to make the jig. What is the spacing between each board in inches?. I like the looks of the tree and would like to make a few. Thank you.
So for the jig all I did. I stapled down the base of the tree's spacer which is 4 inches and then I found out what the center was I traced them on the board so that I knew where the center was and just took another board and stapled it so that I could but up the edges. To that the space in between is an inch and 3/8.
Love this project. You have noted that the free cut list is included, but I’m not seeing a link in the notes you have listed along with the equipment used. I really want to try one of these and gauge time and complexity. Plus, I want to make one for my own front door.
In the video I mentioned the angle from one point to the tree to the next point so I don't have the measurements for those parts but the rest of the parts are in the description.I don't have a link.I just wrote those measurements down in the description
Great project thanks for sharing.
@@nah3186 you're welcome i'm glad you like it🙂

No no curved but I put angles on it if that's what you mean
I made a similar one with WoodPrix instructions!

I can figure it out but why not give the board lengths? And the Star. Be thorough
@@roythomas1574 sorry I guess I'm not very good at writing down my instructions.I'll try better next time
@roythomas1574 and when I get home from work , maybe I'll look at the video and see what i did wrong
