Holmes was my childhood hero, my first object of total idealisation. I remember myself sitting in the room at late nights, holding Conan Doyle books, being lost in the world of genius, eccentric Sherlock Holmes and there was nothing in the real world what could get me more excited. First time when I heard about BBC's modern adaptation I was like 'Ugh, Sherlock in a modern world? really? I don't even want to hear about it. I can already imagine what a mess they've made" and then I gave it a try and Man, it was brilliant! Just brilliant! leaving me speechless brilliant! and the super exciting theme melody makes me feel like it was chosen by real Sherlock Holmes (well, for me he is real) as an accompaniment music of his brilliance. :)
+Tamara Molko It's interesting to watch the show......SO MUCH of the books are incorporated, and maybe half of it is direct or almost direct quotes from the book. I felt the same way watching the first episode....they did VERY well, you can really tell the directors truly made the show out of love for the books, and not for revenue or the public (Though that may also have been part of it.)
+Tamara Molko The books were some of my favorites as a child too! I also put off watching the modern adaption for a LONG time. I just finished watching it a few months ago, and WOW was that an amazing journey. Even though I read the books years ago, so much of it was direct from the books, that it really brought back memories of my childhood. If only more of my childhood books were done like this.. Sadly, 99% of books when turned into movies just end up being steaming piles of horse dung =/.
Also, my friend had watched the show before I did. he recommended it to me as he knew I was a avid fan of Sherlock Holmes. I told him, "Nothing will ever be as great as the books are.".. Turns out I was wrong.
+Sunny Shukla One of my friends showed it to me also. Although I still like the books more then the modern adaptation. Even though I love modern sherlock to death, it isn't the same as the original. It doesn't have that sherlock feel, of old london, where he is a genius among fools, so ahead of his time, that he might aswell have time traveled. It isn't as impressive when 90% of the sherlock techniques (in the modern adaptation) already exist, and are in use by the police force.
Morgane W same but I better slow down or otherwise I will watch all of the episodes in less than a well and it will be boring for me to wait another year
"When life gets too strange, too impossible, too frightening, there is always one last hope. @@reniapalacio9761 😊 LOL. Thanks for being understanding. There are so many people who just want to bash others for their choices. It's refreshing to see people being open minded as well. Soo.... What's your ship?
@@victoriaslater6008 awwww thanks hehe.... I really made sure I didn't sound like I was bashing ( I make sure I don't ever when it comes to opinions ) I don't ship Johnlock romantically coz they're like actual brothers to my eyes, I mean I get why people think they're into each other in a gay kind of way but I guess I love family oriented love better than romance or sensual stuff hehe... In Sherlock the only romantic ships I ship I guess are.... Sherlock and Irene or Sherlock and Molly... Although Molly got married later on to someone else, but I'm glad they're still friends... And john and Mary, she was awesome and I really liked her vibe even before I realized she was an agent! john really has a way of getting close to people who are badass and MYSTERIOUS AND COOL. Man, I wish I had had super cool companions like that! Maybe I do, I just don't know yet lol!
When you realize how incredibly clever yet simple Sherlocks "observations" are, you really begin to feel stupid. Then you start to visualize things in real life, and see the little text pop up in the air like, "unemployed" or "unhappily married." THEN YOU FREAKING LOVE LIFE.
Any numeral adds with 1 will become a numeral with a +1 value or simply the next higher numeral in the integer line. The numeral in this case is 1 and the next numeral in the integer line is 2 . So...case closed answer is 2, booring

Oh for the love of the universe, who else wants to burst into tears and jump right into the heart of it all upon hearing this?! I swear, this opening sequence was as instrumental in causing me to fall in love..so very deeply, as it turns out...with this show as was the brilliant acting and directing and producing and all of that. Yep, I just love the ever loving stuffing out of this show!!!
Weird thing is that half way through I had just randomly guessed that it would be 'Sher'... But I had no idea how I'd gotten to that conclusion and then I was surprised when I got it right.
+Russian Trooper *sees picture of a cow* (thinks: cows produce milk, so the direction the cow looks in has to be where i can find the milk) *goes where the cow looks, finds bananas* ...
+Flexy Ah, but you forget to account for the fact that cows make milk *for cows*. So naturally, the cow would want to lead you astray and keep the milk for themselves!
I can give you 3 good reasons why. 1: Exactly, its so good it takes a while to make (Also the episodes are an hour and a half each). 2: Steven Moffat is working on Season 9 of Doctor Who, which takes up some time. 3: Steven Moffat is Steven Moffat.
I can see these things while listening to this: - Sherlock's eyes racing to deduce the person before him. - Sherlock picking up clever clues left by a killer, usually without the killer's knowledge, but clues no one else could have picked up on. - Sherlock in his chair, unable to sit still with the manic and intensity of the thoughts running through his mind, but he hasn't got a case to solve for the moment. - Sherlock solving the crime piece by piece and on the hunt to find those who committed the crime. So, in conclusion, I see and _feel_ Sherlock in this. And that is why it is brilliant.
You know, a lot of people were telling me to watch this show, that it was sooooo good, and when I finally got the chance, I thought that I may as well see what it was like. Bad idea. ... I think I'm hooked now.
BioShmid With the exception of Doctor Who season 7 and further. Also dude, judging by her their username "BadWolfAndTimelords" have probably seen Doctor Who.
"The game is on!!!" Love when this duo sets in motion before going chasing a criminal or any clue with this music on. "Down to business" feeling. Get ready, put on your coat and catch a taxi as soon as you can. Crime does not wait for weak and slow minds. Challenges are designed for people like them. The sense of emotion before an adventure, the vast intelligence of Sherlock hurrying against evil, the excitement at the beginning of another chess game, the vibrant, ominous and opulent tunes in this song... Brilliant combination!
"I've met someone" "Oh, Lovely!" "Yeah, we're getting married- well I'm gonna ask, anyway" "So soon after.. Sherlock-" "Well, yes" "What's his name" "It's a woman" "a woman?!" "Of Course, It's a woman!" "You really _have_ moved on, haven't you?" "Mrs. Hudson, how many times- Sherlock was not my boyfriend!" "'Live and let live' that's my motto" "Listen to me... I AM NOT GAY"
JAYHONOFAGUN 8756 It makes me feel adventurous and go out for some reason... dunno 'bout you guys. I'm just enjoying my form until it strikes to twelve.
Sherlock: “did you bring your gun like I asked you to?” John: “why would I bring a gun to your parents’ house?” Sherlock: “is it in your coat?” John: “yes.”
Be very very careful now that you've been sucked in. I just got involved about a month ago and I've already watched season one and two there's only nine episodes on Netflix so make them last!
Yeah I know. A few weeks ago my friend, who is absolutely obsessed with the show, told me to watch it and I am literally addicted to it now. It's so good!!
John Watson's motif: **slow, rubato, hollow, sad, dreary** Sherlock Holmes' theme: **quick, steady, spontaneous, lively, sporadic** It's almost as if their individual themes symbolize them as characters and grant us further insight into their mindset and deeper emotions... -I love music so much-
"Shut up everybody, shut up! Don't move, don't speak, don't breathe, I'm trying to think. Anderson, face the other way, you're putting me off"-Sherlock
“I don't shave for Sherlock Holmes” “You should put that on a t-shirt” -------------------------------- “I don't understand” “You should have that on a t-shirt” “I still don't understand” “And there's the back of the t-shirt”
I only found this show because I was staying at a hotel and couldn't sleep. Decided to find something on Netflix and saw a BBC version of Sherlock. Figured that would easily make me fall asleep. Long story short, two episodes later and I was hooked. Cant wait for season 4!
Great music from one of my favourite shows! It always plays at the right places, and just gets you really into the show. One of my favourite times it plays is in "A Scoundrel in Belgravia" when he opens the safe and they do that cool slow motion fighting sequence!!!
I was like "why the hell is there all that hype over those Sherlock TV shows? The only real Sherlock Holmes is the one in Conan Doyle's books! I can't even accept they turned him into that....young human thing that just has never to do with him...." And then, I had to watch the first episode of this show for some school purposes. And....man, I fucking love it. This character is so fucking awesome. I'm fond of it already. How could I. I don't have like films or TV shows. ....and love that music as well.
Sherlock: “You’re me?” Dr. Strange going to other dimensions: “Yep.” Benedict: “What the fU-“ Edit: a year later I see this comment n I can’t help but cringe yet it’s so harmless-
think about it sherlock would’ve deduced instantly that dr strange was him in another dimension so he doesn’t need to say your me as a question. Instead he’ll say your me to dr strange as a sentence
TheInfinityHD Ethan I would have thought with that quality of filming it would take longer for 3 episodes but i would love that. this year is taking soo long!
Every time this goes on you can just feel that the game is on and the thrills of the chase! Gosh I LOVE the music (and everything else) on this show. Every tiny detail has been meticulously thought about and it's such a delight to watch
+triforcepower73 Elementary kind of pisses me off. It lacks the wit and shipping ability and humour and everything that Steven Moffat created with Sherlock.

The same here...
I watched every episode within 24 hours. No regrets.
I watched all the episodes in less than a week
same i watched and finished the entire show just overnight 😭

why doesn't this show have 20 episodes for a season every year ? its just soooo goooooood!!!!
see, that's why. it's SO good, it takes several months to make.
Tbh if miracles happened, i wish it never stopped
because they made it a miniseries vs a TV show -- and it's up for many awards.
Probably because Steven Moffat is off to make Doctor Who a majority of his time. This seems like one of his side projects :)
I can give you 3 good reasons why. 1: Exactly, its so good it takes a while to make (Also the episodes are an hour and a half each). 2: Steven Moffat is working on Season 9 of Doctor Who, which takes up some time. 3: Steven Moffat is Steven Moffat.
"I WAS A SOLDIER I KILLED PEOPLE"
"You were a doctor!"
"I HAD BAD DAYS"
I can see these things while listening to this:
- Sherlock's eyes racing to deduce the person before him.

"The game is on!!!"
Love when this duo sets in motion before going chasing a criminal or any clue with this music on.
