Number one rule of a real prepper… Do not tell other people about what you are prepping. Just makes you at target when they become desperate
Shhh it’s entertaining
100%
Lol
' '" '"'"
Right ? My first thought was like « they’re gonna get robbed if something happen »
Absolutely love how the dude who is prepping "for a series of dirty bomb attacks" doesn't have a stash of clean food and plans to "live off of the land..." 20 IQ
Yeah. About as clever as the couple living in a luxurious 40-ton truck...About 5 gallons per mile,.and no petrol/diesel outlets operating!
@@dabbbles It makes even less sense, he understands he is living in a target, a couple spike strips and he is dead. Ever try to change a big rig tire?
I thought that bro thinks hes gonna have clean crickets after a dirty bomb ???
Most sensible truckers wouldn't let their tanks get under half full, and that alone will get him over a few hundred miles in which I'm sure he can siphon other abandoned company trucks he sees along the way. Refrigerated trailers that hauls everyone's food also have a 5-10 gal tank of diesel as well, and they're usually all over the place. There are plenty of other places for those paying attention.
I don't think it would be too much of an issue living off the land after dirty bombs but it would definitely change the environment. And also their might be competition with the thousands of other ppl who ran to the hills. Nature finds a way not only humans. But yes he should definitely stock of cans and stuff cuz the organic food ain gone organic no more 😂
Ingenious to buy that bunker from the Government. Best move on this episode.
So badass and For only $40,000😂 that would be worth millions today.
@solless
That's more in the range of ~120k in today's USD value, but it's obviously still an amazing investment.

nothing says prepper better than showing us everything you have, where you are, and what you look like. JMHO, the only way you will survive is if no one, but no one knows what you are doing
Your thumb going in front of the barrel of a gun is not a "malfunction". My goodness, and these people are supposedly prepared for the apocalypse?

Goood one 👌🏼😂. NDs happen luckily just a thumb but still no joke guns are No JOKE.
Calling it a 'malfunction' is like driving your car off a cliff and calling it an 'accident.'

My ex husband was a prepper and a paranoid schizophrenic. His paranoia got worse after our divorce and scared out teenage children so much they stopped visiting him. He was afraid of everything, didn't trust the government even though he was in the Air Force, kept buried food and water, motion lights inside/outside the house and numerous weapons. He died young because he didn't trust doctors and had undiagnosed high blood pressure.

A big KEY to survival is NEVER allowing ANYONE to know what or how much of anything you have. Keep under the radar. buy in bulk but pack in small units (easy to trade) and let on that it's the last of what you've got.
That’s true even for everyday life in a bad area ppl will see u leaving the store and ask u for money I always tell them I spent my last so I can eat
What’s your name?…😂
trade the rice and beans and keep the meats well hidden
Exactly!!!
Yes.
The last thing you’d want to be eating after a nuke is anything that comes from that soil or touches it. My mans family isn’t gonna last too long.
I thought the same thing. He’s like “I’m preparing for surviving a dirty bomb by eating everything that is outside and contaminated by that dirty bomb”. Of any of these peoples doomsday scenarios, he was the one who most needed an underground bunker
@@DanielConwayRacing 🤣
What are they preparing for?
Our grandparents were the original "preppers", they bought in bulk, had a garden, stored and saved food hunted. They also were the first environmentalist, they recycled EVERYTHING.
Step 1 BOOKS, Get books!!!!
It was not a malfunction, you put your thumb in front of the barrel😂
As a partial prepper myself I'm thankful for this show despite how silly it is cause it show's people what they should and should not do to prep for doomsday.
The funny part is when they say doomsday preppers. I'm like you don't understand the word doomsday.
What is idiotic is that these people are think a whole nation is going to collapse in an instant, even with everything that has happened not even close. Panic buying often gets spurred off by preppers telling the masses to buy buy buy.
It came out the 2010s before all of this, they where prepared
When Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast and made it's way up the spine of Mississippi back to back and did over 40 billion in damages I think the vast majority of citizens wish they had been prepared. Fuel shortages, power outages, no water, ect... I think it would be safe to assume D-Day prepping isn't counterintuitive.

They should hunt, fish and forage. Yuck, the bugs. Gross.
Most are not this clueless either.
Most preppers don't weigh 300 lbs either haha

Wait, the guy prepping for a dirty bomb attack is planning to live of the land? Sounds self-defeating but what do i know.

Getting out of the affected area and getting a thourogh cleaning job done on ones self is the best option.

How are they eating the contaminated crickets...😂😂👏👏👏👏
Very carefully
One thing people do wrong is their fitness. You often see them in the Gym or pushing weights rather than training for what they might actually need to do. Lots of running, walking with weight, martial arts, functional fitness etc!
That’s even worse than that, bro…
Most of the time, they don’t even lift weights… They’re in poor shape and wouldn’t manage to « bug out » if there is the slightest mile to ruck…
In the military you quickly learn that wirhout cardio, you’re dead
A lot of preppers are just obsessed with all the gear they buy and the fantasies they have when they use it. No one who truly cares about survival would neglect their physical health.
Thanks a lot for the boat Barry. Will send postcard when I have a chance.
Remember it might be fun to make your own bunker but then you’ll need a larger or similar sized bunker just for the food if you’re talkin years. Then you’ll also need another similar sized bunker for the water storage. Might as well make another one for the toilet paper you’ll need for the next 20 years.

megan & her giant backpack won’t last an afternoon walking through an apocalyptic city
The truck can be easily taken over. Unless the windows, walls, tires, and doors are bulletproof.
Naw. He’s got a handful of jacks
Yeah. A roving semi is a prime target.
@@jdb2722, the jacks made me laugh, they are a kids toy and made out of cheap aluminum. I don’t remember the number of times my Dad drove his truck over my sister’s jacks and his tires were fine, this was back in the 1970s. Today most jacks are made of plastic.
Max was a cop and only drove that tranker straight forward for entertainment purposes. A driver with real semi truck driving skills wouldn't have let any of those vehicles just drive alongside it in a real apocalyptic situation, they would keep their distance or be in a ditch in a real event.
The guy with the family in camouflage not only have to walk in the dead of night at the worst time possible but they actually think their boat is still going to be present at the dock then they're going to make it to a remote island. Lmao 🤣 get outta here your boat is gone!!
Actually the dude doing the insect foraging does make good sense by preparing his family for eating them because of the disgust factor. I did a jungle survival course in the Phillipines when I was in the Marines and learned a lot about eating critters. And if you're not a prepper storing tons of garbage it is definitely a viable solution I guess. As for me, I'll just raid anyone & anything I can.

I said I will take it
I don't like how a lot of these people prep in a way that makes people think all preppers live out this fantasy scenario in their heads about how SHTF will go down. Have a plan for protection and food that will apply to all scenarios. Dont gear up like your a spec ops zombie hunter.
