I’ve mentioned this on other TGP reactions. I think Jason is truly the best written, and casted dumb character on tv/film. Props to his actor Manny Jacinto. Who actually has a Civil Engineering degree, irl. Clearly pretty smart. Really interesting watching interviews with him about his approach to Jason.

Watching you react to this show is reminding me just how well this show was executed. I watched it when it first aired, and I was fascinated and glued to the screen for every episode. It's a truly marvelous journey.
As a Floridian, Jason's goal of becoming a DJ in "Daytona, Gainesville, or maybe even Tampa" is hilarious and so in-character. Anyone aiming for fame in FL would normally go for Miami, not a midsize beach town or a midsize college town. Tampa's a little better but still nowhere near the size (back in 2016 at least) or party vibe of Miami. Poor guy's a couple screws short of a hardware store.

I had a bad week last year. I had to put my pug down because she was old and deaf and getting arthritis really bad. Then, the very next day my other dog started having seizures. I spent the night with him at the vet and his meds seem to finally be about right now. Anyway, during that time, I had commented something criticizing one of my favorite reactors. I've tried to apologize but it's just something that happened that I have to live with & learn from. I don't feel welcome there anymore. It's my fault but it still stinks. And then I have to think about why. All that is to say, people can say asinine things but sometimes they might be going through stuff. I don't think complaining about cuddling your cat is defensible but just keep it in mind ✌️
If I ever do UA-cam I'll be showing my animals all the time in a reaction, I pet them while watching and I would do it making videos if I ever did and so cute 😂😂

It was owned by Monica’s (the chef) grandma and she left it for Monica after she died. Thats how they afforded it lmao. Chandler lived next door and his job actually gave him a LOT of money (also mentioned multiple times throughout the show). Ross had a good salary, but still his places were smaller. And lastly Pheobe, who had the worst paying job, could only afford rent with roommates at first and even when she started gaining more money and lived alone she could never afford near where the others lived (which was near central park) thus her rent was lower. Its never stated where she lived, only that it was more uptown. For all we know she was at the bronx with lower rent than Manhattan.

the thing about mr beast.. i'm actually not even much of a fan of the guy, but i do understand how he runs his channels from interviews and just being part of youtube commentary channels.. yes, he makes millions from a 10 min video restoring eyesight to over 1,000 people.. and yes, he makes millions from a 15 min video about building over 100 wells in many needed towns all over Africa.. who do you think pays for all those surgeries/100's of feet down machines to find drinkable water for not just the town people.. but also clean water for sterilisation in their hospitals? he does it through those millions he makes from people viewing his 10-15 min videos doing good things. I never understood the sensitivity of what mr beast, in particular, does.. not anyone else, but just jimmy.. b/c it makes me curious if what any of those people who were blind their entire lives would prefer. Also, it's made perfectly clear that he doesn't put anyone in front of a camera who doesn't want to be. i wonder if those towns without any clean water, ensuring the health of their children, hospitals, newborns, and just LIFE would prefer to continue waiting for a Government who hasn't done anything to help alleviate their basic human need of just a CLEAN well.. i'd argue the blind would prefer to see, and the over 100 towns of people he paid millions to create healthy wells for are likely much more grateful then to bother thinking about his YT channel. He spends millions to be able to help millions. I think that's a worthwhile situation when he'd never be able to do any of those things without his channel..

I grew to love to Tahani, but she really annoyed me in this episode when it came to 'Jianyu' and their spa day. I know she wants to get to know her soulmate better, but I never understood why she thought he was ready to be super chatty with her. As far as she knows, he was a monk that took a vow of silence in life, and is just now starting to ~hesitantly~ speak. And he might have spent his life in one place - it wasn't disclosed what he supposedly did/didn't do as a monk - so he may not know about art and other subjects she wants to discuss with him. I always thought she should have asked him a few questions about his life as a monk first. Of course, WE know that that would have sent Jason fleeing into his bud hole. LOL!

Tbh, this whole show is arguably perfect, imo. The writing, casting, comedy, and serial format that you don’t usually see in a sitcom.
