There's nothing impressive about a apple console and terrible game!! Even way back in the 90's it was a scam product designed poorly and overpriced!! It is probably anti repair like all apple products and the expansion port is probably for $700 caster wheels lololol 😂 or a $1000 700kb nvram expansion that's does nothing useful.
As a non native english speaker, this was my experience of gaming when I was young. Nice to see others feel my pain of not having a clue about what they are doing while playing with another language.

I don't mean it with an edgy way, it's just that no games ever came out on my language, so for a long time I couldn't finish my games because I just didn't know what to do and for younger than 11 year old me it was extremely frustraiting. Just try to play a game on a non native language that you don't understand to see my point.

Andrew Elie no buying the same parts they put in and building it yourself would be cheaper every time. That is why any apple device compared to a similar spec windows device will always be minimum 20% more expensive. They do make solid products and consistent design decisions which is what you pay the “apple tax” for.

He still works in the LMG offices, right across from Linus. He just doesn't work on Linus Tech Tips now, but still makes appearances from time to time (he did a retro gaming video with Linus at the beginning of October, for example).
So no, Luke didn't lose his job. In fact, he pretty much got a massive promotion, despite having been Linus' right hand since forever ago.

I really enjoy when you do these kinds of videos and involve other members of the staff into your videos... This one and the Virtual Boy videos have been two of my favs. You should try to get your hands on an original 64DD and show us all what we have been missing (or not lol).

Funny how that sort of forced brand designation works. Nintendo had to make sure no one called the NES a video game system when launching over here, due to the gaming crash of the early 80's putting a huge stigma on the term. The OG Xbox was desperate to make sure nobody thought of it as a PC (even though it totally was). It was even a point of ridicule from Sony's marketing team to call it a PC instead of a proper console. It was years before Microsoft would even allow a keyboard peripheral to work on the OG Xbox, due to these fears. 1 gen later, Sony loudly touted the PS3 as a "super" computer, instead of a console in order to legitimize it's huge price-tag.

Squick tip: when playing games on a different language, launch the google translate app on your smartphone, select the languages and choose the camera option... It will transtale for you on the spot... If it fails, take a photo, load it and highlight the part you wish translated. It isn't 100% accurate, but it's better than playing blindly

this video feels so much more like LTT than any of the newer videos that have come out. Just the shot of Luke walking in the warehouse while talking is soooooooo much better than Linus sitting at a desk and talking over some footage of the actual Product/Project. Seeing live commentary is way better than that. Please more of that
the Best Episodes in my opinion are the moving Vlogs and Linus building the PFsense Server (I hope It's called that), because they were so genuine and hands on. thas also what makes (made) you stand out from all the other tech tubers, Pauls hardware just as an example, who makes mostly Videos with like a 3min intro to the Topic than a short timelaps and then more talking about the build. It's fun to watch linus/luke build something life. that's also why scapyard wars is so popular imo. PLEASE understand this. And I'd rather watch a video every second or third day that has higher quality content.
I remember the first time I went to a big auction for video games, and there were like 4 booths who had these. Like 15 in total. So I thought there were plenty, so I thought "I'll buy it another time". never ever have I seen one IRL again. I'm still missing it in my collection :(

whatever battery you're talking about I'm guessing is either his battery backup system or some red camera bullshit - it will be used in every day operation for every video they produce and will pay for itself over time while this will be in one video and not used for everything else... are you really that dumb you dont know how stuff like that works?
