Instead of flanged oil inlets, and outlets, why not have tapped NPT threads into the castings, no more bs potential problems, and eliminates 2, of the 4 potential leaking points.
10AN is to small for that turbo, measure the drain hole at the bearing housing on the turbo, your drain hose and fittings internal diameter should be that size all the way to the oil pan
Even a bigger issue that all turbo specialist refuse to talk about for some reason is oil deliver. Its beyond me why everyone continuse to use that 1970's technology restrictor with the small hole in it that doesn't regulate oil deliver for shit! Do your audience solid and talk about the BoostSmart OPR pn# TS-0801-1003 I wish someone would get with the program and talk about this unit!!!!!!
Great info Doug!
I'm running a 3/4 inch drain on my turbo honda and I still have issues with the drain. I'm running a 3431e
Make video about drains in oil 🛢 pan
What if someone made a flange that took an o ring ?
jbt8080 PRL does, it is ported also

jeff skaarland don’t disagree. I think they do it for compatibility and adaptability. Most have npt on the feed, but not the drain.

Old biker trick, on an oil pump for a old knuckle pan or Shovelhead, wight lithium grease, never rtv.
i use aviation sealer. just a light skim. never had a problem. not a fan of RTV
Whoever doesnt use gaskets, and uses a bunch of rtv instead, needs to learn the hard way! Lol...
High tack sealer
I was exactly the 15,000th viewer 😂😂
