just make sure you use enough glycerin , it works as a preservative. You won't need the salt. I have made a bait using silver carp that caught a few yotes and raccoons this season.
Great video buddy and hope it works for you. I make most of my own bait as well. I have found that dear trimmings ground up and let taint works the best for me. Later and all the best.
Looks like that will work, I’ve never done it though, I’ve mixed old jars together for long distance call and had good success, on the red meat thing, try some horse meat, some local guys swear by that, I’ve got some commercial stuff I am going to try with the trail cam this week, let you know how that goes...good video
Yeah Frank I have heard that horse meat is the go-to for any kind of Predator I'm not sure what it is about it but apparently Predators love horse meat
I would say its going to work. I would say the one with the long distance call in it. My gag reflex it's better outside than inside. Once I opened it up I have to get away, then I'll come back and I'm ok. I got some cheese from fnt post. And when I mix mine I add that. I'm going to be making my bait next week. I let mine taint for about 5 months. Good luck with it buddy
I checked my trail camera today had two coyotes at my dirt holes I forgot to put my camera on video hopefully in the next couple of days i will get some footage of them buggers one is a real mangy little s***
I started to grind it in the house and I got kicked out pretty fast she came in the garage to see what I was up to and couldn't handle the smell it was awesome
Yeah I was thinking of doing that making mock dirt holes three beside each other and seeing which hole the Critter chooses should give me an indication of which smell is preferred
@@EngeleTrapping I have a bunch of lures I'm going to do that with next week. Ones that I didn't get anything on last year. See if they are even interested in them.
One bait I have had a lotnof success with is mice and rats. I would go and shoot them at the neighbors farm freeze them then when it go close id grind them up and for the life of me I forgot what else I would add with them. Either way it did good for me on the coyotes and fox
Good to know I had one guy comment saying I should have used sodium benzoate maybe I will pick some up before I make my next batch thanks for the comment anf for stopping by
Great video keep up the good work. Hope that bait works well for you can't wait to see you making some catches
Thanks buddy I appreciate that thanks for always coming back and tuning in
Good looking bait. Can't wait to see how the predictor react to it.
Me too I'm hoping I will be able to figure out which scent they like the best
@@EngeleTrapping how well did your bait work?

How did the bait ideas work out for you? Did you do an update video? Great info here. Thank you!

@@EngeleTrapping : would you like to try some of my stuff? I named it 911
@@WildAboutBeingOutdoors that would be awesome I appreciate that I don't know if you would be able to ship it to me although
Was wondering if you were goin to do some footholds this year. Hope you get some good video on those mock sets and will be waiting to see!!

so how did it work?
Looks like it would make a good spread on toast! I'm anxious to see which gives you the best success.
I am too hopefully it does work I don't see why it shouldn't thanks for watching buddy
Awesome man you left out the best part lol.
👊💀🍻
There's no way in hell I was posting that LOL
@@EngeleTrapping So flippin funny. 👊🤣
Yes he did 🤢🤮
Nice
Good video beaver tail oil is good to add if you want digging add some gator oil beaver tail oil will cause them to dig also in a dirthole
Quite the mixture; fox and coyotes should go for anything that is rancid eh....use the cam to ck
Yeah I'm hoping that they will come to it I did one test spot and I've had two mangy coyotes come to it but they are not digging it up
Pork is the only meat I would have left out and put the beaver meat etc added.
Did you catch anything with the bait?
I have yes
I re watched cuz I thought I missed you gaging , lol
Hahaha damn Trapper J no you didn't miss it I edited that part out LOL
Looks like fun....how come you didn’t bottle it at the kitchen table. Lol
I started to grind it in the house and I got kicked out pretty fast she came in the garage to see what I was up to and couldn't handle the smell it was awesome
Just added you on Facebook
Awesome thanks buddy
If you want to know do what I heard others doing. Put some on a stick and shove it in front of a trail cam see what comes to it.

@@elisaunderlin9624 actually that probably would work pretty good considering they are a natural food source for them they should recognize the smell
Salt will draw moisture into ur bait an make it loose

@@EngeleTrapping ....try some liquid smoke in there....drives k9 crazy
