Decluttering before a move is definitely the way to go! My previous move caused us to declutter a lot because we downsized our home by more than half in square footage. I'm starting to get ready to move again, but this time into a larger space. However, I'm still decluttering because I don't want to bring anything into the new space that I don't actaully want or need. The fresh start with only items you find useful or beautiful is a wonderful feeling.

Interesting that you could observe the easy categories and those that were harder for her. We all have them, but sometimes other people's difficult ones seem so random. I guess it's because our emotional attachment is not always clear to the naked eye.
I used a couple of different questions so that I could gage her attachment. There were certain areas that were a breeze and certain areas she definitely had a harder time with. Because of her move coming up and the limited space she has, we had to really identify what she really wanted and what she could she herself using. She did an amazing job! 🤗

7:45 - The Zombie Survival Guide. Right before I clicked on this video I pulled a little book called the Vampire Hunter's Handbook out of a desk drawer and thought about what to do with it. It went into a moving box so I guess it's a keeper. 😀

The edition on this video made me a bit dizzy. The cuts are too abrupt and too often. The second part of this vídeo (Im guessing) had more smooth transitions. I prefer a time lapse rather than flashes on the screen. (Im not hating, I love your content, just a comment on the cuts)

This was a great declutter & I agree with all that you said but I felt a bit bombarded by all the information. Maybe a little less talking would be more effective at getting your point across.
I find your comment interesting. I think people can be so different. I actually listened while I was working on a project, and really liked drinking it all in. Are you saying you might benefit from shorter videos with one or two concepts? I'm also a UA-camr, so would like to get your feedback. I tend to pack in the information when I share a video.
I usually enjoy less talking when watching a clean and/or declutter video, but a few key points is okay. I just enjoy watching more than listening 😂
