Dr. Lori this is the best video I have ever seen. I am 70 and live on the SE coast. I will probably never see Alaska so thank you for this Sitka videeo
LOVE me some Dr Lori. Watch her EVERYWHERE I can! ALWAYS learn something. Btw: your glasses are adorable! Trying to keep second granddaughter to keep them on. Tough at 4.
Thank you for featuring my town where I was born! I recall playing at that park and picnicking there with my family and friends. Thanks for the memories!
Wow! I just discovered you on UA-cam and there you ARE on the island where I was born, my father is buried there and I grew up there. Many happy times I spent at the totem park where you are!
I recently just found your videos and I’m watching all of them I love it. Thank you for sharing that beautiful National Forest it was awesome. Thank you for teaching us about antiques and other items. The nesting dolls are beautiful. Someone decided my mothers needed to be theirs and helped there selves to them with some old crocs that we still done pickles in. This is how I am though if they can live with it that’s fine hope they take care of them. Thank you again I’ve got to go and watch more. God Bless.
I loved the explanation of the symbolism of the totem poles! One of my favorite things is a matryoshka a friend brought me from the USSR before the breakup. It starts at Lenin and goes to Gorbachev. And now I know it is handpainted😎. She bought it on the street for $2USD and yes, she bargained!
Looks like you had a wonderful time in Alaska! Definitely keep wooden nesting dolls from moisture; my toddler filled mine with water like a cup, it swelled and cracked 😭
Dr. Lori - you need to team up with someone - and invent a device that brings fresh, cool, filtered air into a china cabinet - for a few hours a day. You would sell a bunch!
Your going to make me do some digging! 😂. My mother in law (who passed away 5-6 years ago @ 80-81 yrs old) …… has a set of nesting dolls that she’d gotten in South America when she was a little girl. I know there here somewhere being I’m the one who packed her stuff up! Just gotta remember 🤔 where I actually put them lol. Ugh!! I also have several rings that she’d gotten in South America thru out the years. ………( & yes I’m still 👀😂😂. Can’t help myself).
Wonderful video...love the history and visit to Alaska.
Dr. Lori needs her own show!
I do need my own show... and you need me to have my own show! I love doing the Doctor and the Diva too.
Dr. Lori, Thanks for giving a shout out to our National Park Rangers. We really do need to advocate for them and show them our appreciation.
