Like many I also thought the hosts were sitting too close, but once the last guest appeared, the couch was full. I think she should have sat at the end of the couch. It might have been easier for him to reposition himself as the guests appeared or they need to get a bigger couch.

This is why the Church is against sperm donation and artificial insemination. It’s not fair to the offspring. There’s too much confusion. In my opinion, adoption is a better option.

I can very much relate to Rich's emotions, for lack of a better word, relating to the father who raised him & wondering (I would say, sensing) how his parenting, particularly disciplining, may have reflected the fact that he WASN'T "really" their father.

I feel like a lot of ppl were on the couch and they moved for this interview but then they didn't space back out because of when the couch is full. Also, that's her brother. Not by blood, but friends. Co workers know you better than they should.

well, I think Ken might have done better to sing alone. Kim's lovely voice is soulful and had a massive R&B range and it took over the duo's performance...poor Ken.. his vocals were not very confident to sing in the same genre as Kim's vocals. So it was not a match vocally. I think he might want to take more vocal lessons to get his voice to a place of utter confidence and range. Good effort, but don't out sing the guest, Ken...... would be my suggestion.

I also thought that the hosts were too close, but consideration of the shape of the couch and the angle of the shot may explain it, or that they are just comfortable in their skin. It is distracting tho.

I was adopted. Born out of wedlock and given up. Later, I found my real mother, and found out that she had one child originally, left that family, moved to another state, and began a whole new life. She met a Sailor along the way, got pregnant with me, gave me up and then married a man she spent the rest of her life with. She had a son. But he knew nothing about me, or that our mom was married before and had a daughter that she abandoned. I found my half sister when we were both in our 70's and we became close. I tried to connect with my half brother, but because he couldn't accept that our mom had had the past that she had, he rejected the fact that we were half brothers. So, some things work out well and others, not so much. Be careful what you look for when you're adopted. You may not like what you find out. I'm glad to know my lineage, but for some our existence is but a skeleton in the closet. BTW, I support getting the DNA test if you're adopted. It's nice to know true nationality etc. I've found a whole bunch of cousins.

I find it objectionable that one sperm donor was used so many times...there should be a limit on how many times one theoretically anonymous specimen is used. I do appreciate that he was healthy and a bright fellow (a doctor) but why should so many kids have this one person's genetic code? It's like what you hear about polygamous cults. I am very glad these half-siblings found one another, but it's downright ethically worrisome that these things have been kept secret and that, in our very mobile civilization, like-minded people could certainly meet one another, find they have a marvelous affinity for each other, fall in love and get married---never knowing they share a father until there's a DNA test. (It's happened. And not just once.) It's a moral minefield in the making and it isn't fair to subject the next generation to it. We need DNA tests at birth and full disclosure of our genetic parentage as an acknowledged civil right. It's time.

I have seen IVF documentaries that would ward off most customers. HUNDREDS of siblings and the number grows. How soon will they find each other is haphazard and scary. You should not marry unless you do mutual DNA tests. That goes for EVERYONE. This is insane and cruel. Money rules America, we treat our women like breeders ----- dogs. And like breeding dogs, no one knows where the truth is. Truth be damned, eh?

  • @Applecider-Poetry

INCEST IS SICK ------ IT IS A LEGACY OF AFRICAN SLAVERY BTW ----- NOW YOU CAN LEGALLY BUY ANOTHER PERSON'S BABY (IE sperm, eggs). The shit never stops because they sell sell sell the frozen components to your lies. In Britain they felt this was unethical so they still offer IVF BUT you must share the upbringing of the child with the biological donor parent. The donor parent stipulates how much involvement they want with their children (it is not different from a friendly neighbor-type set of considerations) and the entire procedure is without payment and must be voluntary and with accurate records. they attract people like college professors that really did not want children to raise all by themselves because they are career people BUT they do not mind having children to see on holidays and to treat with surprises and fun and becoming extended family. if you do NOT want this --- you are complicit with the American system which fosters widespread INCEST that will only mushroom into generations of unknowing incestuous disabilities like the kind I have witnessed first hand -----HERE THEY ARE ----- congenital heart disease, kidney disease, allergies to water, non-coagulating blood and skin that will not heal and infects automatically upon laceration. ALL FOR YOU, ALL FOR THE SELFISH PEOPLE THAT CANNOT ADOPT. damn you

Geez...! The producer should practice meditation 🧘‍♂️ I was adopted...I found my mother 40 years ago. I just recently found out who my bio father was through Ancestry. What a shock, because I always thought that he was the man who my bio mother put on my birth certificate. Anyway, unfortunately, he's passed now, but I have found a wonderful half sister and a neice, who are blessings to me. Another shocker was that I found out that I'm basically Half Finnish...never would have guessed, except I lived in Sweden for 7 years, I always felt Very close to that Scandinavia culture....it must be in the dna. My parents that raised me will ALWAYS be my Mom and Dad...period. I feel blessed that I was their child. I missed them more than ever.

They should have to put the biological parent on the birth certificate, and the adoptive or physical custody parent on there. At the very least, they should have a code on your birth certificate when you are the result of artificial insemination, which is the code for the person who donated so at least you don’t date somebody who is your brother or sister

This is bull, poor women have delivered healthy babies. We are playing Russian Roulette with these care free doctors. They think black people are over reacting when we describe our symptoms. The Racism card is no excuse. The government is paying them. Slavery was abolished in 1807. These doctors are not professional and they are not skilled. Only a handful have very good medical benefits. Poverty is no excuse as the hospitals are depending on low income to pay them through the government. The hospitals are hungry.

The Male doctor said said racism and poverty are factors in mortality. However, Kira was wealthy. The inhumane treatment from biased White medical staff is a dangerous contributing factor which transcends economic status of African Americans. This white male doctor continued to invalidate institutional racism in the medical profession. He explained as "doctors can grow indifferent through time. He seemed to struggle with the reality that Black women are racially discriminated against, and instead talked about poverty and Black women being predisposed to preclampsia. That right there unknowing to him, is a bias coming from a White doctor. He refusef to acknowledge the racial bias that can determine if a Black woman survives childbirth, and he very well could have been an arrigant SOB during his time at Cedar Sinai. Many of the staff cater to their wealthy white patients. My precious 6 month old nephew was experimented on and suffered horribly! Black women come from varied backgrounds but the point is Black women like White women should be treated humanely.PERIODT!

Shortly after my daughter was born, I started bleeding heavily. I was rushed down to have a CT scan. It showed where the blood had come from. Although the bleeding became less, I was immediately started on blood transfusions. Blood samples were taken every 2 hours and the extreme coldness I had felt started to decrease. I was transfused for 2 days and kept in hospital for 8. That happened in South Africa, not a country which used to carry the title "leader of the free world", America. I certainly will not visit there again. The reality was an extreme disappointment.
